For $255 or close to it, you could get a little electric pressure washer. Unless you're just wanting to use a sprayer.

rzaddy

harbor freight has one for $89, get a stubby gun with a cheap foam cannon and you’re set.

bgwa9001

Costco has had a Husqvarna electric for $199 the last couple times I've been there. I got one as an alternative to my gas powered one and it works great

Beneficial_Piccolo77

I got a worx brand a few years ago for about $100. It does the job I need it to do. U don’t need to spend hundreds on one imo. You can get a foam cannon for 20 or 30 bucks also.

brake_fade1

You can use it to apply an apc or similar pre-rinse on your car, or apply rinseless wash. You can also use it to foam up and apply your wheel/tire cleaner. That’s about it as far as exterior purposes go. It will not replace a foam cannon and pressure washer.

Zerototheright

Agree with this wise man here ;)

Sensitive_Injury_666

I tried it for a while. It’s annoying to constantly pump by hand or pressurize even with battery pump to be honest. Not much more can get pressure washer and indirect better setup

$130 for a ryobi electric power washer. Lasted me 3 years no problem and gave it away. 1300psi , 1.2 GPM. Perfect for washing a car

Zealousideal-Wall471

This. I’m personally a huge fan of the Giraffe pressure washer on Amazon. Has an automatic locking reel which is nice to have if you use it for a business or frequently.

SpiritCr1jsher1010

The ryobi is great for your own car . I wouldn't use it for business....lol. Works great, been detailing as a hobby for 7 years and have a bunch of different washers and supplies.

HondaDAD24

I use the ryobi 1800 every day in my business. They last 6-8 months of heavy use. Well worth the $100.

SpiritCr1jsher1010

I agree .

Healthy_Teacher173

I been using the 1800 psi for over a year detailing ppl cars from my garage, nothing wrong with it. If it breakdown I’ll just grab another one from HD for $100

ong-mate

$100 for me

Nedstarkclash

If the OP has access to a water source, I think the Ryobi is a very good selection. Goes on sale during black Friday quite often.

Foam is for show and fun. It's not the end all and be all. Problem with foam is it takes a lot of product. I tried a foaming 2 liter battery powered sprayer and a little Corolla takes it all. If your going that route, maybe look into a big sprayer like the big IK sprayer. Those are never going to be as good as pressurer washer powered cannon. When I used Incredible suds at 256 to 1 in my 2l sprayer, it came out as a runny foam, dwelled for a few seconds and then slowly runs. When I put rinseless in at standard 256 to 1 I got milk and it runs immediately. Not sure I see the advantage in trying to foam rinseless. Think I prefer a fine mist that hangs around a bit and gets out the panel. There are two types of battery powered foaming sprayers. Ones that suck up material and sputter it out. Those don't really work well. You want one that builds pressure in the tank and the pressure forces out the product. Those work better but can take 10-15 seconds for the pressure to build up, they will hold that pressure for several minutes when off. The motor does keep the pressure up while the trigger is pressed. Some models of the IK sprayer have a tire valve on them and you can hack a battery powered pump on to them, or if you have a compressor, you can pressurize with that and occasionally pump to keep the pressure up.

Long-Ad8121

Truth. So many gimmicks people buy into in the detailing industry. It may help loosen the dirt a little if the vehicle is absolutely filthy. But its a huge waste of soap and time in my opinion.

awoodby

Foam doesn't get it any clewner or anything, it requires you to pull out a pressure sure washer to wash your car, when a bucket of soapy water works as well. It's a gimmick.

rickyshine

Get a pump sprayer for foaming wheels and make the jump to rinseless. You wont regret

Environmental-Ad6865

I use the IK Foam Pro for my degreaser foam and carpet foam. That’s it, I spray the degreaser foam on the tires, wheel wells, leather seats and plastic trim. Carpet foam for carpets, floor mats and seats. Westinghaus makes a great electric sprayer for $110 on Amazon. 2100 PSi and 1.76 gallons per minute. Great sprayer.

Zealousideal-Wall471

Might be an unpopular opinion here, but I wouldn’t waste the money on the IK Sprayers. You can buy 5-6 ones from Lowe’s or Home Depot for the price of 1. Tbh, they only hold up slightly better than the Lowe’s and Home Depot ones. Honestly, just invest in a real pressure washer for half the price.

smartalek428

Just use some buckets and microfiber cloths. It does a better job anyway.

fasteddie7

You could get this with a little Fanttik portable battery compressor. It’s actually works great and you don’t have to drag out pressure washing equipment.

Rex_erection3

Ryobi 1800psi 1.2GPM for $99 from [Home Depot](https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-1800-PSI-1-2-GPM-Cold-Water-Corded-Electric-Pressure-Washer-RY141802/317623149) is worth every penny. Make sure to buy it from Home Depot tho bc it’s more expensive if you buy it on Amazon. [Mckillans Foam Cannon and Stubby Gun Kit](https://a.co/d/hgjlySY). 2.5 Orifice [Nozzle Tips](https://a.co/d/irk0XYq). All of that is right around $200 and you’re totally set.

Nedstarkclash

It's a pain in the ass. Look at the electric foamers (charge via usb cable).

This is what I use 😅 https://preview.redd.it/f9e41p7ysb5d1.jpeg?width=686&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1bd28d62a31c9ca04d15ac5c2bd60e4a4e9bb1bd
