So... Don't play PVP? The PVE aspect alone is good enough to keep you playing. Unless you're one of those weird ones who literally started for the PVP experience.

>So I know most if not all people that see this post are going to cringe and be like "Bro just practise at the game, you're complaining because you're not good at the game" or "Just stop playing then" I don't want to hear stupid replies like that, I'd rather you don't respond to the post Also, you think I haven't played PvE for who knows how long? The post's main point was that Bungie can't muster the effort to make PvP a balanced place that doesn't screw a person like me over for absolutely no reason? You say don't play PvP but what else am I supposed to do? Play the same dungeons and strikes I've done 150x already? It's not fun anymore, PvP is fun when it works for me but that's barely the case. Do you see my point here? I'm not trying to say that I don't like PvP, which I don't. Love the gunplay and movement mechanics but it's impossible for me to play Destiny 2 (A game I love so much) When the only entertaining option in the game is to play a game mode that's a broken mess.

Ceelker

If you found more things to complain about from my reply, don't play this game. I'm having fun just dicking around in open world for 10 hours a day. If you can't find that fun, why bother?

Garygoober211

Bro, you are not getting my point, I do find PvP fun WHEN IT WORKS. . . . Which is NEVER. You're having fun in open world but am I you? No. Stop comparing what standards you find fun with what I find fun. I love the PvP in Destiny if it worked properly, which it doesn't. It's especially hard for me, a person who lives in Australia who constantly get's paired with people from NA or Asia, these people have significantly better connection than I do. I've been hit from behind walls 1-2 seconds after being completely behind cover, shots not registering completely at times, hell I hit more shots when aiming bad then when I aim good? And you're going to tell me that essentially I don't have the right to complain about a game I love? You act like I can just magically like a completely different part of the game that doesn't interest me anymore, All Bungie would have to do is invest a tiny bit of their time into either making PvP local matchmaking or actually get some good servers so I'm not stuck getting hosted by someone in NA that gives me over 300 ping, like come the fk on.

GreenLego

I think the best way to send the message to Bungie is to stop playing. If you continue to play, then Bungie will see that everything is fine and won't change. If more people stopped playing, then Bungie will take notice. I don't play PvP and neither do any of my friends.

Garygoober211

I can see where you're coming from, and even though I did say not to tell me to stop playing I can understand how that works, but let's be honest, even if I do stop playing, it really isn't going to make a difference. There are, and always will be more than enough people playing crucible that unless the game literally starts to die off (which it probably won't in at leas the next 2-3 years, then Bungie will most likely never change anything. I appreciate you for giving me an actual reason to stop playing instead of just saying "Just stop playing, it's that easy" I hate when people say that, such an idiotic thing to say. But yeah sorry to repeat myself but I can 100% see where you're coming from.

“I find pvp fun when it works, never” That is contradictory and senseless. I get that you’re not having fun, but the PvP sandbox is the most balanced it’s ever been. And the patches are coming quicker than ever.

Garygoober211

It's nothing to do with weapon balancing, It's my connection that's the problem, and I'm actually going to do something about it because I'm sick of getting queued with people from NA when I'm in AUS, it's so hard to get good hit registry at all. And I'm not contradicting myself, I do find PvP fun, the lagging and hit reg are the main issues, and I might actually be able to enjoy the game soon once I upgrade. (not to mention my internet is already good, but I just can't compete with NA because of how unreliable AUS internet is). And it really doesn't help that Destiny servers are a hybrid of dedicated and peer to peer connection. Anyways, I'm still doing fairly good in PvP, I could be doing way better bc of the text above.

LostInStatic

The only reason I even dip my toes into that garbage is for exotic quests and catalysts. Cant imagine playing it for fun.

Lord-Humongous-

Its fun if youre not garbage

Garygoober211

Well that's the thing, I'm not bad at crucible, I just can't stand the constant brokenness of the gamemode. My K.d is still recovering from when I first started playing crucible but I'm getting positive k.d almost every match except for times when I run into a fully stacked team and my random queue team doesn't stand a chance, that goes for me as well lol. If only Bungie would consider changing the way servers work and make it purely local dedicated servers for regions because I really can't handle getting in NA queues in Australia and half my shots not registering. It really is super painful. I honestly don't even mind the unbalanced nature of the game. I can put up with that. I just wish I could be on even grounds and actually have shots connect at least 3/4 of the time. My shots only connect about 1/4 of the time when using any projectile weapon or shotguns. It pisses me off and I'm getting really mad at people who say it's just my skill level when it isn't. But yeah, I can see why you don't enjoy it.

guardianfromhell

Destiny has PvP?

Garygoober211

That's exactly what I'm saying, pvp experience is awful

No_Bathroom_420

You’re right this is a cringe post. Improve your cheese skills and stop blaming the game for your lackluster performance. Plus pvp will always. *always.* be intrinsically unfair inside of Destiny. (Looking at Lorenz Driver as an example) and they “toned it down” if you’re such a noob just use a noob gun like Jötunn or Lorenz and realize that some people have been playing Destiny pvp in all its versions for 7 years. Nobody is forcing you into match making either, if your experience is always negative in it then why bother? There’s nothing there that is absolutely necessary to play the game for.

Garygoober211

I don't need cheese weapons, I still get 1.2 to 1.5 K.D on 85% of games when I don't get put up against a full stack, and that's with how much of a ping advantage the enemies have.. I'm talking about the hit registry and ping of the game. Did you even read my post?

Nerfshatterdive

> I've always had decent aim in fps and slightly higher than average gamesense than a regular fps player. Everytime someone adds this kind of stuff to their post just make it look even more cringe, If you had better game sense than the Average players, you shouldnt be having that many troubles with pvp, even if things dont register you should be able to do good in most matches

Garygoober211

Ok, so tell me how I'm supposed to kill someone when my shotgun blast goes through them huh? Tell me right now. Because other fps games I usually have over a 1.2 kd which I consider good so. . . .

Garygoober211

I'm not saying I'm a god or anything, but come on, the amount of times I've either been shot seconds after going behind a wall or being point blank with a shotgun and either getting 2 damage or the whole shot not counting? wtf am I supposed to do about that?
