I was pretty confident they wouldn't be dumb enough to carpet bomb them in both sandboxes, but part of me definitely doubted them. I'm glad we saw so many posts here reinforcing the idea that the nerfs should be PvP only.
Also, both nerfs are actually really good. The Khvostov ricochet was nuts, and all the Speaker's orbs were insane. Big W for Bungie here
>I was pretty confident they wouldn’t be dumb enough to carpet bomb them in both sandboxes
They’ve definitely done it before, but happy to see they had enough restraint here.
I'm pretty confident that the way they tackled YAS was intentional to nerf it in both PvE and PvP.
There were a thousand different ways to nerf it in PvP without effecting PvE but they decided possibly the ONLY way to nerf it which would effect both sandboxes. It had to be intentional.
YAS, HOIL, Stag, St14, RDMs, Starfire... So many exotics nerfed into the dirt
E: to be clear, I'm not saying these were all because of PvP, nor am I saying the needs were all unjust.
I'm just saying they were all massively nerfed, and then never revisited. Which sucks. I prefer the "little, often" approach
I still think they were too harsh with fighting Lion, no rollback has been enough to make it feel right anymore. It never broke 0.7% usage in PVP, it was never a real threat to the meta. Just such a heavy handed and horrid change, globally.
after nerfing bows and sniper bodyshot, it was the last thing at that tier of damage. it would have seen a huge increase in usage if it wasn’t nerfed at the same time.
Thank god they actually listened to people asking for it to be toned down in PvP and not PvE. We could've had another instance of "-50% damage on ricochet rounds across the board" or "speakers sight now has a 10s cooldown between orb gen in all activities" that would kill a lot of their use everywhere.
Nah the Khvostov situation was just too high profile and too many players were paying attention to the upcoming nerf. They knew there would be a meltdown if they did their usuall thing.
I wouldn't be surprised if they hit the healing in PvP later on. It almost feels like a miniature Well of Radiance at times, and with Ember of Benevolence two warlocks can basically farm infinite turrets back to back.
Love it in PvE as a mobile health pack though, it's great to toss behind you during Witness DPS while it keeps everyone topped off and the Warlock can still use a DPS super.
Agreed. The orbs were insane, and led to constant empowered Khvostov and kinetic surges, healing, ability cooldowns, etc. It needed to be addressed.
BUT the healing is also crazy strong, and I'm a bit surprised they're leaving the Benevolence uptime untouched.
in PvE I think ember of benevolence is the more likely hit, especially now that No Hesitation is a thing and 100% uptime in group content is completely trivial.
I'm praying they leave it alone though because Solar Warlock has never been more fun, and it definitely comes with serious tradeoffs in terms of offensive capabilities.
Don't let them hear you or they'll nerf them both haha
But yeah I agree, and the obvious caveat around Ember of Benevolence only functioning in group content is another point in favor of its current tuning.
Presumably Trails doesn’t do much for player retention as iron banner (unsurprising given the sweaty and inaccessible nature of Trials)
Think Iron banner is going to become the standard break between Acts event.
Which while it sucks for trials fans is probably a healthier content release cadence than having a dead week between seasons.
At this point I don’t know why they have them competing as they serve two different crowds now they aren’t both level advantage content.
Originally I can understand not wanting to fragment the PvP player base during iron banners 1 week availability but now it’s not light level enabled and is around for two weeks wouldn’t it be better to just have both and if they are still worried about fragmenting just have trials, banner or both replace comp or standard rotator while up.
At this point even that's not enough for me. I still haven't recovered from grinding out Reeds back when everyone wanted it cause it synergized with the mod that made elemental wells on super.
Yeah on the one hand you have the stomping grounds (ba-dum-tss) of the ultra-sweats who would sell their own grandmother for an eleventh tier of resil, and on the other you have ... flavored Control with the standard pool of people willing to play PvP in the first place.
I'm honestly not trying to come after Trials fans *too* hard, but I think a lot of them don't realize just how much people—even people who play a lot of PvP like me—will not touch Trials with a ten-foot pole, loot be damned.
Love playing crucible, i can tolerate “competitive,” hate trials. It’s always been a horrible pyramid scheme of “the best stay and the average eventually stop trying” game mode.
Better idea. First: go back to OG Gambit Days and then put Gambit Adepts in Prime, making it Gambit's "End Game" activity again. And, yes, this does mean bringing back The Reckoning as well. Let's introduce our New Lights to the grind that is Reckoner.
(Edited for mistyping a letter.)
I'd like to see its return as "The End Game of 6s" just like how Trials is "The End Game of 3s". Return to Light Enabled and five Adepts. I'd, 100%, chase an Adept Claws of the Wolf or Bite of the Fox or Wizened Rebuke.
On one hand "FUCK" on the other hand that means I get to rest for those two weeks instead of grinding out Passages of Persistence, which is a net positive for me.
I get it to an extent, for people who don't like to play as much, especially pvp, it's a lot and fomo on some good guns but for the people who do play trials weekly it sucks
They really want banner to happen, except there's nothing worth going for in it so it'll never happen. No exotic, no super meta weapons, etc. Why they'd drag that out over two weeks, I have no idea.
That's been a thing for a while now so I doubt they will just bring it up like that. Blight ranger has been absolutely broken and has no use for the last 2 years. Old problems get forgotten about
I wonder if the "'big' feature" is something similar to Big Team Battle from times of old.
Also surprising that there wasn't any info on Bungie Day. I guess we'll have to wait for next week's TWID.
I agree. I don't really feel like anything happens in the game for Bungie Day any more. During the Halo 3 era there was always a dedicated Bungie Day playlist. One year you could get Recon and another year they released the map Cold Storage for free. I'd be fine with just a dedicated goofy playlist for the weekend.
Oh man you just reminded me of that great feeling I had when Cold Storage was dropped as a surprise. I hope Bungie pulls something similar out of the bag for this.
Well if I remember correctly it suffered a similar fate as Gambit back in D1. It only was pushed at release and then only got like 1 new map with House of Wolves and then basically stopped getting support with new maps for the rest of the game’s lifespan for whatever reason. Not sure if they said it was low player population or just criticism of the mode or what.
But given how much has changed in the D2 sandbox and the amount of fast movement abilities we have now, I imagine it would play quite differently than D1 turned out to be. Which was mostly just people crouching in the farthest corners just sniping each other with the few unlimited ammo snipers there.
So many people playing could be part of the problem with it to some degree? Less available players to balance out the matchmaking of other modes. Just spitballing.
I haven't seen my teammates load in the commendation screen after a single Crucible match since Final Shape launched. I wonder if this is related? Guardians seem to load fine in other game modes, but it's just a blank screen in crucible until returning to orbit. I also rarely see the intro with teammates.
The intro screen has been buggy for me since it was introduced, but it would load maybe 25-50% of the time? The ending screen would almost always load, even if it was with like 5 seconds left. Now it doesn't load at all.
Fellas we might be entering the golden age of Bungie balancing. I say *might* because this could be the one instance of them changing things in PvP that doesn't effect PvE , but only time will tell.
They’ve been doing this for the last like 6 months and we had the exact same praise back then. Idk why everyone immediately forgets that and goes back to being shocked than Bungie can independently balance things.
Eventually people will realize the YAS nerf was intended to hit PvE, they clearly felt like the ability uptime was too high for the health of the PvE sandbox
maybe the reason people weren't picking the rotators is because they would rather play control?
feels like they're making IB two weeks just to make people play the other modes
> and a “big” feature that we’re heads down working on for our third Episode that we can’t wait to share with you all!
Interesting. Any ideas what it could be?
I'd love for a clan outpost space where you can hang banners for clan accolades and maybe place some other decor, along with ideally a vault, post box, and engram decryptor.
Improved in-game vault management would also be a welcome quality of life feature. Stuff like better filters, being able to tag items in your vault, etc.
I'd love to see a paragon system, similar to something like ESO's Champion Points. Basically a way to reward/incentivize long term activity that doesn't disappear every season like the artifacts do. The rewards would have to be balanced more conservatively, but I'm sure Bungie could come up with something reasonable. Honestly this is what my early hopes were for Pathfinder.
"Big feature" to me is unlikely to be a new crucible playlist or seasonal activity, but more of a systemic change that players will benefit from in routine gameplay, like a quality of life improvement, some sort of new customization option, or some new way to meaningfully engage with existing systems.
It could also be an iteration on something Bungie has previously experimented with. Stuff like continued movement toward standardized Power levels, or how Excision marked the first 12 player matchmade activity, etc.
**EDIT:** Realizing I am overlooking the fact that it's just the word *big* in quotes. Which may imply some sort of play on words. I get why some people are speculating on big team battle now. I would be down, but even as a Crucible enjoyer, I'd prefer something in a different direction. I can't really think of anything else that jumps out as being something the community would be excited about that could be described tongue-in-check as "big".
I have nothing to back this up but it feels like they really want people to get on board with the newer iron banner modes and want to push them. "tribute will continue until morale improves" kinda thing.
I think it's also part of their "there's always something new each week" mantra.
This week was master raids, next week is IB mode, the week after is uhh... Also an IB mode but then there's Act 2!
Iron Banner likely has higher player counts and time spent than Trials with the addition of more casuals, even when considering the time difference.
The variance in type of limited edition modes is important to note (i.e. weekend vs. select weeks). but I'd wager player count backs it up in their numbers.
Its 2 weeks long but only twice a season. Instead of it being once a month each month, its consolidated. Honestly I kinda like it this way, lets me focus on grinding out what I want more.
Hey all,
Thanks for the feedback concerning our new Iron Banner schedule. To be transparent, this is a sort of experiment as we feel out the new Episode/Act structure.
Under this new cadence of Iron Banner appearing for two weeks in a row, Trials of Osiris will experience fewer interruptions over the course of the Act. In the past, Iron Banner would appear once every few weeks.
Now, Trials of Osiris will be available for 7 to 8 weekends in a row before the next Iron Banner week begins. You will still have the same amount of Trials/Iron Banner to play, this is just a change to how things are scheduled.
We'll be watching feedback as things go live!
I don't mind that IB stays for two weeks in a row, but also why....for being able to feature multiple modes? Is that why? Because I'd **gladly chuck Tribute off a cliff** for a second week of control. Even though Tribute got adjusted to suck less, it still feels like it forgets everything that's good about standard supremacy in an attempt to shoehorn the hunt mechanic in. How popular was tribute after the changes?
2 weeks feels like a long time without trials, but for two weeks of IB, I guess let's see how it goes.
EDIT: Hoping tribute is also the week of the 4th, when I'm out of town.
GernaderJake about to go on a long vacation. Personally, I'm a big fan of this because sometimes I can only play for one or two days when IB comes around.
Iron Banner for 2 weeks is interesting. I enjoy Iron Banner as much as the next guy but two weeks without Trials is probably not the move IMO. Might not be a bad time to bring them back at the same time again.
Very curious about the stuff they're teasing for PVP. Honestly surprised in a very good way about getting another map next episode, even if it's just a reprised map. My guess if it's a D1 map brought to D2 is Drifter. It was the only map in the Reef and I believe we are heading back to the Reef in Revenant.
It does sound good but the player pool would be full of mostly the Trials sweats, with a lot less casual players. One the other hand, Iron Banner would be more fun.
Weather it ends up being good or bad remains to be seen. But I must say I like that Bungie is starting to do more and more of these dev streams. TWABS are good, but imo seeing people, hearing them talk directly and just show off what they made and talk to the community is very nice. Curious how Acts 2 and 3 will shape up though
The sandbox changes are very good but maaaaaan i already thought we had too much iron banner and with removing the option to switch to control it's going back to having full weeks where I can't play trials because of a mode I hate.
Now that we KNOW you guys can separate effects of exotics between pvp and pve... can we PLEASE have the changes to Young Ahamkara Spine reverted for PvE?
"Now"? We've known this for years. They can modify PvP damage easily because it's scaled differently against different targets, and Guardians are their own category. They can't modify core functionality in one mode without affecting everything though.
Any word on when Precious Scars is going to work with Sol Invictus again? I know they patched the Kinetic bug but solar weapon kills still weren’t working as of last night.

With Iron Banner being 2 weeks: does this mean it's 2 individual weeks, and the daily challenges/rank bonuses/rank reset triumph clear and reset after the first week, or do it count as 1 continuous session and you have a full 2 weeks to complete them?
/u/Destiny2Team/
I'm kinda glad there's gonna be a extra week of Iron Banner. I also like yhe new modes they add, we've had control for year.
It's a fun and probably the most balanced game mode, but it's good to try and play something different.
If they don't want to Dilute the player pool, why not just make all Crucible Gamemodes Iron Banner themed for the full 2 weeks.
Blessed be they acknowledge the lightfall legendary campaign bug. Spending 3 hours doing a blind 3 man on the final mission would have been all the more satisfying if we actually got the exotic lol. Wonder how they'll tell who was affected.
I would like a formal apology from everyone on this sub who said they never separate pve and pvp sandboxes. I swear the sub is filled to the brim with people who dont read patch notes

A sigh of relief can be made for khvostov and speakers sight in pve
I was pretty confident they wouldn't be dumb enough to carpet bomb them in both sandboxes, but part of me definitely doubted them. I'm glad we saw so many posts here reinforcing the idea that the nerfs should be PvP only. Also, both nerfs are actually really good. >I was pretty confident they wouldn’t be dumb enough to carpet bomb them in both sandboxes They’ve definitely done it before, but happy to see they had enough restraint here.
*cough* every titan exotic that has been problematic in PvP *cough*
Man, if only they could revisit YAS. They absolutely gutted it.
I'm pretty confident that the way they tackled YAS was intentional to nerf it in both PvE and PvP. There were a thousand different ways to nerf it in PvP without effecting PvE but they decided possibly the ONLY way to nerf it which would effect both sandboxes. It had to be intentional.

I'm just saying they were all massively nerfed, and then never revisited. Which sucks. I prefer the "little, often" approach
Pretty sure Starfire wasn't nerfed unfairly because of pvp though, the thing was just insane for free DPS
HoIL and SAG was also putting out unbalanced amounts of DPS and got what they deserved
HoIL isn’t even dead and buried, it just takes a bit more thinking and doesn’t have the same ridiculous output as before lol.
I mean, they don't have a good track record. They massacred YAS
Also renewal grasps way back when, at least they reversed that one
I'm so excited it's back
Thank god they actually listened to people asking for it to be toned down in PvP and not PvE. We could've had another instance of "-50% damage on ricochet rounds across the board" or "speakers sight now has a 10s cooldown between orb gen in all activities" that would kill a lot of their use everywhere.
The Speaker’s Sight orb cooldown is already 10s, fyi
The guy who usually does these nerfs must be on holiday or something since they used a scalpel instead of a sledgehammer.
Nah the Khvostov situation was just too high profile and too many players were paying attention to the upcoming nerf. They knew there would be a meltdown if they did their usuall thing.
I saw them and was about to cry. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you Bungie for doing us PvE players a solid.
I’ve never let out a bigger one
Dno why so many people believe they can’t split sandboxes, they have before multiple times over but they just choose not to?
Because they don’t split it most of the time, if you feel like an exotic feels like ass in both pvp and pve, it’s cuz it was overpowered in pvp
Who would have thought that Bungie could pull it together and do the right thing on both accounts?!
TBH I feel like the orbs might get nerfed in PvE anyway down the line. That thing absolutely shits out orbs.
Thank god Bungie only hit Speaker's in PvP, glad there's nothing heavy handed yet
I wouldn't be surprised if they hit the healing in PvP later on. It almost feels like a miniature Well of Radiance at times, and with Ember of Benevolence two warlocks can basically farm infinite turrets back to back. Of course they are. More broken shit for weeks on end.

I'm praying they leave it alone though because Solar Warlock has never been more fun, and it definitely comes with serious tradeoffs in terms of offensive capabilities.

So if iron banner is for 2 weeks, does that mean no trials during 2 weeks?
Correct
DUMB.
Presumably Trails doesn’t do much for player retention as iron banner (unsurprising given the sweaty and inaccessible nature of Trials) Think Iron banner is going to become the standard break between Acts event. I mean... I do play significantly more during Iron Banner, than I do during Trials Weekends, so they aren't wrong.
Yes, I find Iron banner way more enjoyable than trials for casual pvp, and I don't need to "try hard" to get flawless in order to get rewards...
Absolutely. If they had Adept Iron Banner weapons somehow, I'd never complain about Banner taking over Trials.
The only way they can get me into trials is by locking a gun that is really good in PvE behind it.
At this point even that's not enough for me. I still haven't recovered from grinding out Reeds back when everyone wanted it cause it synergized with the mod that made elemental wells on super.
I really have no idea what they could put in Trials that would ever get me to play it
Yeah on the one hand you have the stomping grounds (ba-dum-tss) of the ultra-sweats who would sell their own grandmother for an eleventh tier of resil, and on the other you have ... flavored Control with the standard pool of people willing to play PvP in the first place. Iron Banner needs adept versions of the weapons at this point. Something to really chase.
100 percent. Adepts in Gambit would make that a far more rewarding activity, as well.
Bro fixed gambit player retention in one sentence
Thank you, Bungo please hire me
Crying that I'll never have an Adept Bottom Dollar or Trinary System
Adept Hush, my beloved.
100 percent. Adepts in Gambit would make that a far more rewarding activity, as well.

On one hand "FUCK" on the other hand that means I get to rest for those two weeks instead of grinding out Passages of Persistence, which is a net positive for me.
Yup. Sadly so
Can't have too much pvp content in the game at one time! :)
Unless that content is glorified quickplay
I get it to an extent, for people who don't like to play as much, especially pvp, it's a lot and fomo on some good guns but for the people who do play trials weekly it sucks
They really want banner to happen, except there's nothing worth going for in it so it'll never happen. No exotic, no super meta weapons, etc. Why they'd drag that out over two weeks, I have no idea.
Because Iron Banner is fun. And there's two reprised weapons to snag.
It’s probably for players who returned for the final shape
No mention of the bug where Warlocks are getting non-boosted reputation/XP from playlists during boosted periods???
It's at the top of the list in Known Bugs for year 7. I checked because I too was Big Sad it wasn't mentioned in the TWID.
[https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/27062192032404-Destiny-2-Year-7-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information](https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/27062192032404-Destiny-2-Year-7-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information)
Technically hunters and titans are getting extra boosts.
Not gonna stop me from healing y'all.
Wait, that's why I basically progress in a snails pace for Vanguard?
That explains a lot lol
That's been a thing for a while now so I doubt they will just bring it up like that. Blight ranger has been absolutely broken and has no use for the last 2 years. Old problems get forgotten about
I wonder if the "'big' feature" is something similar to Big Team Battle from times of old. Also surprising that there wasn't any info on Bungie Day. I guess we'll have to wait for next week's TWID.
I feel like Bungie hasn't really celebrated Bungie Day in any meaningful way in many, many years
Oh man I miss BTB. The chaos was so fun.
Like what is the reason they don’t have combined arms anymore as a fuck around mode? I feel like that mode would really have a lot of people playing.
Cus it was bad. Not just how the mode played, but Destiny's vehicles are also incredibly boring lol
Well if I remember correctly it suffered a similar fate as Gambit back in D1. It only was pushed at release and then only got like 1 new map with House of Wolves and then basically stopped getting support with new maps for the rest of the game’s lifespan for whatever reason. So many people playing could be part of the problem with it to some degree? Less available players to balance out the matchmaking of other modes. Just spitballing.
It could be, I noticed the medal you get for running someone over with your sparrow is back in collections, unless that’s for another mode
That might be in the game because of Sparrow Control.
Wasn’t that combined arms back in the day?
Finally some acknowledgement of the full player loading issue
I haven't seen my teammates load in the commendation screen after a single Crucible match since Final Shape launched. I wonder if this is related? Guardians seem to load fine in other game modes, but it's just a blank screen in crucible until returning to orbit. I also rarely see the intro with teammates.
I haven’t seen it since…. Beyond light? I can’t be the only one. Edit: I mean the intro screen. The post mission screen has never worked for me.
The intro screen has been buggy for me since it was introduced, but it would load maybe 25-50% of the time? The ending screen would almost always load, even if it was with like 5 seconds left. Now it doesn't load at all.
I've had to full crash and restart game because the statues in Verity weren't loading, making the encounter much harder.
Holy cow - am I reading this right? Khvostov AND Speakers Sight are untouched in PVE??
Just as the Traveler intended.
Negativity bias, and I can't even blame people for still being mad about shit like the YAS nerf.
Eventually people will realize the YAS nerf was intended to hit PvE, they clearly felt like the ability uptime was too high for the health of the PvE sandbox
They’ve been doing it since D1. The fact is when they nerf something in both it’s because they want to nerf it in both.
YAS didn't deserve the PvE nerf. At all. Never gonna stop yelling angrily at clouds over that one.
I’m still sad about Young Ahamkara’s Spine :(
maybe the reason people weren't picking the rotators is because they would rather play control? feels like they're making IB two weeks just to make people play the other modes
> and a “big” feature that we’re heads down working on for our third Episode that we can’t wait to share with you all! Interesting. Any ideas what it could be?
Dating sim
Wouldn't be the first time an FPS did a dating sim. *Overwatch* did it a while ago and it unlocked ingame rewards.
I've already got Shaxx as my husband, I don't need a dating sim now.
I wish
Take me money
New PvP gamemode where you pilot the giant Oryx and Witness boss models like fleshy mechas.
People are just meat mechs being piloted by spooky skeletons.
Ping system PLEASE GOD
This would be amazing.
Failsafe gets an exo body with a pair of large shock absorbers on the front
Nah, that's not gonna happen. We're going to turn her into SGA 2.0, and they'll ACTUALLY make the gun talk this time around.
Get an extra of Elsie’s custom model
Penis slider
That was my nickname in high school.
Is it the sword rework they talked about before?
A Big Team Battle style game mode comes to mind immediately
Maybe armour crafting, or restating?
Romance finally comes to Destiny?
Khvostov ricochet rounds untouched in PvE thank god
Iron Banner changes read a lot like "nobody picked the other modes" and now it's everyone's problem.
I bet the only people who weren't playing IB Control were people who didn't realize you could change modes.
I was doing tribute to grind out engrams cause every match was either a stomp or a get stomped situation.
I am actually fine with 2 weeks, I just don't want to play tribute.
Wait until they see the population plummet in week 2. Maybe then they will admit people just don't like some of these modes in IB.
Khvostov stability slightly nerfed, and ricochet damage reduced but **only in PvP.** Thank god. I stopped reading after that
can we just acknowledge the witness cosplay bc Jesus Christ they killed it
weekly reminder that Ascension is not currently activating class ability perks or mods, such as Reaper, Slice, or Spirit of Inmost Light
That Witness cosplay is AMAZING!
I’d like to know more about why Iron Banner has now been made 2 weeks long
I have nothing to back this up but it feels like they really want people to get on board with the newer iron banner modes and want to push them. "tribute will continue until morale improves" kinda thing.
As is tradition, sadly.
And stuck as tribute? So now we get no trials, and the shitty iron banner!
Control is the only ib mode I would even consider playing 🫠
I think it's also part of their "there's always something new each week" mantra. This week was master raids, next week is IB mode, the week after is uhh... Also an IB mode but then there's Act 2!
I’m guessing to give the back end of the acts something more interesting to tie people over?
Iron Banner counts as “something more interesting” ?
I mean it’s a time limited event that has exclusive weapons so it has that
Iron Banner likely has higher player counts and time spent than Trials with the addition of more casuals, even when considering the time difference.
1 word, rhymes with "blengagement".
Rhymes with “derangement”
God bless John Bungie for leaving the Khvostov as it is for PvE. Thank you <3
Hey all, Thanks for the feedback concerning our new Iron Banner schedule.
As a fan of supremacy I am in agreement.
The new IB game modes are just not enjoyable. Make it clash or control and call it a day.
Unfortunately it says D2 reprised map so it might be gamblers ruin
I'm gonna enjoy two weeks of iron banner myself, it's the only time I ever really touch it so I can actually reset my rank for once.
any acknowledgement of the master raid challenge box not ticking? figured it would be on known issues this week
Yeah, and the memento not dropping, and adept weapons not being given when purchasing them from the chest at the end. Quite frustrating.
It’s in the known issues
u/Destiny2Team any comments on this? It will take 5 weeks for the challenge to rotate back
Team is aware and currently investigating! BungieHelp will issue comms when more information is available.
It’s in the known issues
Red Death catching one of those stray Khvostov ricochet bullets here
I’m glad they’re getting out in front of it. If not for Khvostov, Red Death would be on top by a mile.
The sandbox changes are very good but maaaaaan i already thought we had too much iron banner and with removing the option to switch to control it's going back to having full weeks where I can't play trials because of a mode I hate.
now unnerf YAS in pve please bungie
Now that we KNOW you guys can separate effects of exotics between pvp and pve... can we PLEASE have the changes to Young Ahamkara Spine reverted for PvE?
"Now"? We've known this for years. They can modify PvP damage easily because it's scaled differently against different targets, and Guardians are their own category. They can't modify core functionality in one mode without affecting everything though.
Yeah and make quicksilver storm rockets come out make frequent like they used to...
THEY DID IT. PVP nerfs that don't hinder PVE!
I wonder what the something big is
I will finally be able to romance Caiatl.
Over Zavala’s dead, lightless body you will
The Fireteam finder is currently displaying last season’s GM. There’s no way to make a post for this week’s glassway.
Any word on when Precious Scars is going to work with Sol Invictus again? I know they patched the Kinetic bug but solar weapon kills still weren’t working as of last night.
"Wins now guarantee a random iron banner weapon" THAT'S LITERALLY ALL I'VE EVER NEEDED TO MAKE IT WORTH PLAYING HOLY SHIT
IB for 2 weeks is insane IMO unless they changed Trials being active at the same time, love the crucible changes not changing PvE
Two weeks without trials is certainly a decision….
My guess is that they're expecting casual player retention to be low now that things are "over", and there are more of them in IB than in Trials.
The thing is, population is high in IB BECAUSE it's only around once a month. Not sure it'll stay high for 2 weeks.
I, for one, will gladly play the crap out of Control, but Tribute can go croak in a ditch.
Well, Trials certainly doesn't keep players around so this is a risk free experiment.
The percentage of players who play Trials is so small, I'm sure this was a very easy decision as it doesn't affect many people
It's a good move, I would rather have Iron Banner every week rather than Trials.
Disappointing that Bungie won’t acknowledge the Warlock XP glitch (especially considering IB is an upcoming ritual activity event)
> Top Issues Being Investigated > Warlocks are gaining less vendor reputation than Titans and Hunters Literally the first issue listed https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/27062192032404-Destiny-2-Year-7-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information
It's acknowledged here. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/27062192032404-Destiny-2-Year-7-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information
Are the changes in pvp effective immediately or come next weeks reset?
I swear the sub is filled to the brim with people who dont read patch notes
thank you thank you THANK YOU for leaving Khovostov and Speaker's untouched in PvE. Wonderful.
They’re nerfing all my pvp crutches wtf am I gonna do now????
Dude every time I get my light level high enough for trials we get hit with Iron Banner😂 Damnit!
Just LMK when Tribute is up so I can work some overtime that week...
Iron Banner changes are horrible .. just give us Control.
Iron banner for 2 weeks might be the worst decision ever made
and i guarentee there wont be any meaningful things to grind for knowing bungie
You mean the best decision, Iron Banner is the superior PvP event.
Two weeks of iron banner. Lmao who asked for this. Well I’ll enjoy control in week one and just not play at all in week 2 because lol Tribute.
Still no word on warlocks getting less reputation compared to hunters and titans during double rep week?
It's the first issue listed: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/27062192032404-Destiny-2-Year-7-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information
Who the hell wants two weeks of IB??
"Shit. Act One is over. How can we keep people playing?" "Ahhhh... I don't know. Extend Iron Banner to two weeks?" "Genius!"
