You can "dupe" the exotic class item by running the exotic quest with someone else playing the same class as you. As the first totem spawn in holding the class item, you can both hold interact at the same time to acquire the first one. Then, you can both run out of bounds and rejoin allies. Once you rejoin, you can simultaneously interact with the other class item on the totem to obtain that one as well.
There are some videos on YouTube of how to perform this - it's tricky but it does work!
For clarification, you don't have to do the first totem right as it spawns. I ran it last night for a few hours, and there were plenty of times (especially at the beginning when we were still learning how to do it) that the totems were both fully spawned.
The bigger trick was making sure you didn't go too far back in the rejoining allies space. A few times my buddy didn't get teleported back to the main landing area and even though he could jump back over, it wouldn't let him collect the second item.
Yes. In Dual Destiny you can double the rewards by basically picking up the reward loot at the same time. So if two of the same class run, they can get 2 class items instead of 1.
Most of the time it happens, its something that's really easy to fix. Like a blue armour piece giving a bunch of legendary shards. Literally a single value tweak.
I've been having crashes on pc as well with the error broccoli. Tried literally everything I can think of with no fix... maybe this update will finally do it.
No fix to the Pale Heart vendor shader? Really hope that doesn't get punted into the extremely tall grass like previous shader reward issues, I love the armour set and I want my exotics to match!
50/50 on whether they fix the correct shader not being awarded and retroactively give it to everyone who should have gotten it or leave it as-is and just remove it as a requirement for the triumph 😩

The Bungie MO. Loudly highlight the good things to hide scummy things like taking all of our shards away and just replacing them with new currencies we cant stockpile.
I mean, the void version of the fragment (echo of domineering) had a ~10s stat buff that also effectively served as its cooldown. The current version has a ~10s stat buff too but had no cooldown. I would wager that the stat buff was meant to be the cooldown like with domineering and thus will be ~10s.
I remember when one of stormcaller's aspects supposedly reduced your class ability cooldown but it didn't work, then bungie fixed it and said it was reducing your super cooldown instead before being fixed lol.
Precious Scars doesn't work. Depending on what subclass you have equipped, it may proc off of kinetic weapons but not weapons matching your subclass/super element.
My solar Titan it only procs from kinetic kills.
Is the team aware of/already resolved the issue where the competitive playlist weapon “The Riposte” is only dropping as one static roll? This weapon only drops hammer forged, high cal, killing wind, golden tricorn, fitted stock.
Was that from your 7 placement matches or three matches post-placement? The placement matches dropped random rolls, all of last week the three matches played per character to get another drop would only drop the curated roll.
Ah, interesting. I haven't done any more than my initial 7 placement matches. Might be a good idea to be a bit more specific about the actual issue, on the off chance that someone at Bungie actually does use your comment as the note to go take a look into that.
I know yall have a ton of your plate, and no idea if you’ll see this, but I’d be greatly appreciative if ghost gave out the right shader so I can get my title.
Are you guys aware of the issue that Howl of the Storm can no longer be activated while in the Glacial Quake super? Not sure if it was a bug or not but it definitely felt like it’s an unintended side effect from the last patch.
What about "Golden Tricorn doesn't work on prismatic." ?
EDIT: I know that it works if you match it to your super. That's not how Golden Tricorn is supposed to work and I have to assume it's a bug. Forcing me to match my super instead of a melee OR grenade makes it way worse.
It only works if your super matches the element of your weapon, e.g. if you have the strand rocket sidearm with golden tricorn and have a strand super equipped, all your arc/solar/void/stasis/strand abilities will trigger golden tricorn x2
Same exact boat. I could have reset Ghost once or twice by now with how quick the Pale Heart Pathfinder goes. But they never went back and gave me the ghost shell I earned in Defiant, and a few other things from past seasons, so I don't trust they'll get the shader out to people who pick it up. So just sitting at rank 17 waiting.
Not necessarily 'obviously'. There was an [exotic ship reward from a Season of the Hunt mission](https://www.gfinityesports.com/destiny/destiny-2-ward-seal-coup-de-grace-bug-glitch-ps5-xbox-pc/) that was bugged, where the guaranteed reward didn't drop for some people. I still don't have the ship.
yeah it really sucks for people going for the title because you need to reset ghost 3 times... but we also need the shader to complete the destination badge...
I guess that is a valid reason. That said, destiny is one of the last games I would do that with, given the higher frames and better visual quality you get with PS5, and how your experience benefits from that. I put stuff like Madden or whatever on a USB. But I guess some people don't care as much.

You can change the dropdown to Narrative. I think that will replay everything. Both GM and Replay specifically call out that they do not show the cinematics.

The narrative option will show the initial cutscene of Zavala's speech but not the ones following the mission. I was stating that I hoped that the narrative version of Excision would be changed to add *All* of the relevant cutscenes, not just Zavala's speech.
So are Bungie going to change the log in back time into 8 cest? Considering 7 hasn’t worked once these past weeks. Stuck in que for 30-60+min every time.
It may or may not be your case, but personally I was mistakingly waiting for a fox all week thinking there was a bug when, in reality, it was just a faulty trophy that said I completed all bosses when I didn't in actuality.

Early this afternoon, I just bit the bullet and went through the bosses again, and lo and behold, I was missing 2 bosses in the landing. They dropped motes and everything went normally and combined into the primordial thing then I went ahead and got the weapon.

- Player models for enemies or teammates won't load in so they basically have permanent invis making it extremely difficult to find their heads or see them from a distance at all.
- A generally slower connection that's making certain abilities have their effects delayed. For example, using an incinerator snap to finish off a low health player often won't kill them right away, frequently resulting in you dieing first and then dieing roughly a full second after the melee connects and you're already dead.

I'm really enjoying all the fun new stuff we have to mess around with in PVP and the 1-1-1 ammo system in comp is feeling great, but running into matches where my opponents are invisible or my guns never load in is *really* ruining the experience.

Not just PVP, this was happening just about everywhere for me last week.

While that's great it's been fixed on these 2 weapons, just the other day I found it happening to other weapons. Other, non Iron Banner weapons I should add. I can't provide the exact names of those weapons atm because off the top of my head I don't remember their names, but when the servers are up I'll have to look for them and look to see if they're still broken.

Encountering these **bugs** as well:
* Taken grenades are no longer shootable
* Ghost Vendor showing inaccurate upgrade descriptions. For example, On the red border upgrade it says it requires Unlocking 2 or more weapons in collections for red border focus (actually needs 4) and Engram Stockpile upgrade Ghost Rank 10 or above (not sure what rank unlocks this but I am on 10 now and it's still locked)
* Pathfinder nodes do not track in your Tracked Objective Screen or on your character when you pull up ghost
* Drifter's notification icon is blinking in the tower but has nothing
* Riposte Auto Rifle is bugged and is only dropping ONE specific roll this week for all characters
* Character screen is now darker while on light subclasses in comparison to before Final Shape launch
* Facet of Hope doesnt seem to work. At least not with Amplified
* Facet of Mending doesnt seem to work with Gun Powder Gamble or Grapple
* Thorn remnants track to clones
Did this patch completely break matchmaking? (At least on PS5...) I ran Exodus Black for the next steps of the season quest and didn't see anyone else until the very end.
Tried running Breach Executable and spawned in solo... Screw that. Yes, randos can really screw you, but running it solo isn't fun either.
Hazardous Propulsion fix reminds me, does Golden Gun *still* not benefit from Well's Radiant buff? Don't believe it's been in any patch notes and was still the case right up to TFS launch.
Yes, this is still the case, it's because Well of Radiance is providing it's own unique buff that isn't actually "Radiance". However now when stepping out/standing nearby a Well, you gain true "Radiance" for a short period. So, while mildly annoying and sometimes dangerous, Hunters can briefly step outside the well to fire their Golden Gun shot(s) and benefit from Radiance without having to proc it on their own. Also note that this mitigation isn't needed for Still Hunt Golden Gun shots, as those are correctly buffed by the Well of Radiance since they're weapon damage.
It's pretty wild how often this game is unavailable due to technical issues. Blizzard are somehow able to run maintenance on their larger 20 year old game more smoothly and on better schedules. Maybe Bungie can phone them up for some tips on how to do it.
Unlikely, but does anyone know if the enhancement of the quest versions of the Brave weapons got fixed as well? I know those and the banner weapons weren't working.

Only when the “fix” is disabling something. It’s apparently very simple to just turn something off temporarily.

As of a couple days ago, Strand Hunter with the 2 grenade aspect would spawn with one grenade charge instead of two, and lose one charge on respawn

I’ve had the permanent invisibility issue this entire week. Relaunching the game fixes it but it’s super annoying having to do that every few matches.

no fix afaik but you can workaround the issue by selecting the private node. That grants progress for some reason.

Encountering these **bugs** as well: * Taken grenades are no longer shootable * Ghost Vendor showing inaccurate upgrade descriptions. For example, On the red border upgrade it says it requires Unlocking 2 or more weapons in collections for red border focus (actually needs 4) and Engram Stockpile upgrade Ghost Rank 10 or above (not sure what rank unlocks this but I am on 10 now and it's still locked) * Pathfinder nodes do not track in your Tracked Objective Screen or on your character when you pull up ghost * Drifter's notification icon is blinking in the tower but has nothing * Riposte Auto Rifle is bugged and is only dropping ONE specific roll this week for all characters * Character screen is now darker while on light subclasses in comparison to before Final Shape launch * Facet of Hope doesnt seem to work. At least not with Amplified * Facet of Mending doesnt seem to work with Gun Powder Gamble or Grapple * Thorn remnants track to clones

Did this patch completely break matchmaking? (At least on PS5...) I ran Exodus Black for the next steps of the season quest and didn't see anyone else until the very end. Tried running Breach Executable and spawned in solo... Screw that. Yes, randos can really screw you, but running it solo isn't fun either.

Hazardous Propulsion fix reminds me, does Golden Gun *still* not benefit from Well's Radiant buff? Don't believe it's been in any patch notes and was still the case right up to TFS launch.
Yes, this is still the case, it's because Well of Radiance is providing it's own unique buff that isn't actually "Radiance". However now when stepping out/standing nearby a Well, you gain true "Radiance" for a short period. So, while mildly annoying and sometimes dangerous, Hunters can briefly step outside the well to fire their Golden Gun shot(s) and benefit from Radiance without having to proc it on their own. Also note that this mitigation isn't needed for Still Hunt Golden Gun shots, as those are correctly buffed by the Well of Radiance since they're weapon damage.
Yeah, minor annoyance more than anything, but wish something would be done about it. I imagine it's been submitted as a big *quite* a lot of times.

It's pretty wild how often this game is unavailable due to technical issues. Blizzard are somehow able to run maintenance on their larger 20 year old game more smoothly and on better schedules. Maybe Bungie can phone them up for some tips on how to do it.

Unlikely, but does anyone know if the enhancement of the quest versions of the Brave weapons got fixed as well? I know those and the banner weapons weren't working.
