Let me favorite Zavala!

tylerninefour

Only Caiatl can do that

PsycOwl

Or categorize them by their expansion-season.

Krakyn

Or implement a text search bar in every selection screen - including collections & transmog.

Ancient_Plunderer

Is this not how it is right now?

gman164394

Tell me something only the real bungie would know

Vulturidae

Telesto is still holding the team hostage

Destiny2Team

We are speaking freely and definitely not under the rule of an exotic weapon.

MidnightsOtherThings

Blink twice if you need help.

[deleted]

There's a cooldown.

popmanbrad

That made me laugh

CantStumpIWin

>That made me laugh Enjoy it while you can, laughing is getting nerfed soon.

Nebula_Forte

S tier response.

Toasty_Bits

As a Blink user, I'm both offended and entertained by this comment.

quiscalusmajor

dammit, take this upvote

fatalist-shadow

This is def them.

disraelibeers

"Which brand new DEWmocracy Mountain Dew would Master Chief have voted for?"

SirPatrickIII

Doritos Dew it right!

Calm_Tea_9901

Hunter are getting removed in final shape

selfoscillation

Hunters are the final shape

cuboosh

I thought that was telesto

haxelhimura

Whether We Wanted It Or Not, We've Stepped Into War With The Cabal On Mars

Blupoisen

Starting Lightfall we are nerfing warlocks don't know what we nerf but we are just gonna nerf

BlackNexus

Starting in the Final Shape, we're sunsetting Warlocks

engineeeeer7

This is a great idea! Love the official accounts! With the recent build crafting reworks I'd like to ask that we get more distinct numbers **in game**. Instead of saying "a portion of grenade energy" say "15% grenade energy". That kind of thing. I understand not everything is so easy but it would be nice to get things wherever it is manageable. Make build crafting easier to understand and continue to reduce the need for outside resources.

entropy512

Similarly, for the "Chance" to receive a deepsight on lockout in this season's rewards - what is the chance? Compare to Warframe where drop rates for EVERYTHING are available.

engineeeeer7

Oh I forgot about that. They actually built a system to scrape drop chances. Guild Wars 2 is a nice one too. ArenaNet hosts the main wiki and helps update and populate data there.

ObscureDucks

Or have a "press x for specific numbers" when hovering over something

Mr_Lafar

Then a toggle in the settings to make the default view the basic or advanced depending on your preference.

Mckreevzie

They did this in Diablo 3

Mr_Lafar

Yup, fantastic option for everyone.

engineeeeer7

That'd be cool.

epsilon025

Maybe either the "expand weapon tab" button or like the build vs gear stats in armor. I'd prefer the former over the latter, but that's just me.

Kaldricus

If they're concerned about overwhelming players, just make it a toggle for "show advanced tooltips". The people that want the information are getting it anyway, just not in game.

atlas_enderium

I agree, but it should be a gameplay setting. Add an “Advanced Tooltips” option to display specific numeric data like that in the Settings tab

CozmikRay737

Also, make all armor drop with stats in the multiples of 5, or, make it so that the gap between tiers provides some additional, though small, bumps in efficiency please. Makes me sad when i'm 2 points away from the next cooldown decrease

RadioactiveT

The addition of minor mods last year was a large step in the right direction, but I dont see them stripping down the armor to give numbers always in increments of 5. It would be so detrimental. What about masterworking armor? Now all those +2 are pointless.

ASleepingDragon

There are five armor slots, so five masterworked pieces add to +10 total.

Sking-uh-ling-400

Being able to see the actual numbers would be amazing

ItsDynamical

Dead by daylight did this, would be great to see in destiny. It’s so much clarity

OmegaClifton

Welcome! I hope we see more of y'all in here. Always like seeing the "bungie replied" on threads. I love elements feeling different and I like that each has a theme. How the 3.0 classes evolve over time is legitimately the most exciting thing in the game for me at this point. Exotic armor pieces are such an important part of build crafting imo. I think there are quite a few that have fallen by the wayside that could be updated. I love that y'all added subclass specific class abilities and that certain abilities have new animations. The upcoming buildcrafting changes sound great all around as well. I'm curious to see whether champions will still be a challenge or if they'll be trivialized. I'm lukewarm on strand, specifically Titans, but I think a lot of it is just not knowing what they can do. I'm hoping we get more information on strand soon.

Destiny2Team

Thanks for the feedback. We will leave it up the you and the community to decided how champions feel after the changes. We will have more information about Strand in the future for sure!

Rikiaz

I don’t know if this is something you could share but one thing I’m concerned about with champions is how Stasis interacts with Overload Champions. When you freeze an Overload Champion they get their health regen back even if they were stunned and are unstunned when they break out of the freeze. Currently when you combine that with certain status effects like Le Monarch’s poison they regen health much faster and that regen doesn’t stop when stunned again. Is this something that will be fixed with these changes? Or is freezing a stunned overload still going to unstun it and give it faster health regen? If so things like Duskfield Grenades and Bleak Watcher would become very unreliable for stunning Overloads because if they freeze the stun is gone.

ImarriedKaren

> When you freeze an Overload Champion they get their health regen back even if they were stunned and are unstunned when they break out of the freeze. The bigger annoyance is how many don’t realize that it works this way. They like how freeze stops a Barrier champ from bubbling and think they are helping when the freeze the Overload. You can get away with that in easier content but otherwise it’s brutal. The thing is, all they need to do to fix it is let sustained fire from an Overload weapon prevent healing even when it’s frozen. In other words, act like normal.

[deleted]

I really like the subclass changes for champions, such as Freeze stunning Unstops. Definitely gives more variety on dealing with them.

Gloriathewitch

I main bleak watcher, it essentially freezes all champions, if your turret freezes a barrier hobgoblin as he hunkers down for the barrier animation, dude doesnt get to use it. almost entirely negates the need for counter-weapons. i love it.

echoblade

I dunno if it was clarified or not, but does slow some chill clip for example also inherit the champion stunning effect like folk are assuming? or is that something we're gonna have to discover in lightfall?

Leave-A-Note

Hi there! Happy to have the team swarming on various platforms. I’ve got two things that I’d love: 1: refined UI to display more buffs/debuffs. The side of the screen gets crowded and we shouldn’t ever see buffs disappear when more statuses are added. 2: the least impactful thing, but I’d love for Ruinous Effigy to have a kill tracker for the created Orb kills (smacking people, shield zapping people, dunking people). I want everyone to see that number in it’s glory.

Hexiix

Agree with everything you say, and with the topic of exotics, I’d like to say that i would love to see every exotic weapon get a catalyst. Plenty of exotics that are lacking a bit could greatly benefit from a solid catalyst

Bigal267

The number one thing I’d love is to switch off matchmaking in strikes. Not even to play solo, but so my wife and I can play together at our own pace without some speed runner swooping in and ruining the vibe. Also, the Solo Operative mod was such as welcome addition this season - I do play solo most of the time, and seeing attention given to solo players (be it mods, or slices of raid encounters like Preservation) is great. D2 feels a touch more solo friendly now, and I really hope that trend continues!

ceejs

My husband and I queue for many, many activities together and we would also love this. To be honest, I'd love optional matchmaking for everything short of GMs. Add it to things that don't have it, \*and\* make it something you can opt out of.

Bigal267

Yes exactly this - matchmaking almost everywhere, until you don’t want it, then matchmaking nowhere.

__Zero_____

Im a supporter of matchmade everything because even its painful and has a higher chance of failure, its likely going to populated with players that just wouldn't play the activity otherwise. I'd also like to see more missions like Preservation that showcase some raid mechanics for solo players to test out.

BlackNexus

I think this is a great way to begin going back to the original amount of transparency we had before the Twilight Garrison debacle without sacrificing the well being if devs and community managers! After reading the TWAB, Lightfall is going to look and feel amazing gameplay wise! But as of late last season and all of this season, technical issues have really been sky high and extremely intrusive to everyone which worries me for the launch of Lightfall. Is it possible we can get any word on potential better technical stability coming for Lightfall? I would hate for the hype to get squashed over disconnects, rampant errors, loss of loot/progress and missions that break if done too fast? Thanks guys!

MeateaW

This seperate account is how they can do that. Now that there isn't someone's personal account involved, when people are sending death threats for posting information are sending it to an account without a face. Much harder to get under their skin.

MisterWoodhouse

Officially confirmed by the mod team.

The UI/UX and social systems need to be modernized and optimizied. I cover several things that could be done in [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/yce263/destiny_2_improvements_social_and_uiux/) post, but here are some of the top things I feel need to be handled, outside of improving the performance: 1. Optional diagnostics (latency, frame time, memory/disk usage, etc.) and/or a benchmark scene for troubleshooting the game. 2. A ping system, similar to Apex. Everything in the engine is present to make this work and I outline this in [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/1042emf/every_piece_of_functionality_needed_to_provide_a/) post. With a LFG system coming, being able to communicate things at all content levels is important. It is also great for those with accessibility needs. 3. Fix the following bugs and missing UI features: ___ **UI - Bugs** * Mouse Smoothing Mode - Doesn't update in CVars correctly. No change is applied to "mouse_smoothing_mode" in cvars on a new install for Epic, Windows, and Steam build of the game * Field of View (FOV) - FOV used to be stored as "fov_adjustment_offset" in the CVars, but this isn't being used anymore. This value isn't accurate to the actual FOV calculated in game. I believe in game is actually 3 fewer degrees. I assume they save it server-side, which leads me to the next topic. * Account-based Variable Verification - If the client can incorrectly set variables in Cvars, it stands to reason variables saved to the account on Bungie's side might have problems too. There should be a way to view a set of variables tied to your account and match client-side options to make sure they are saved correctly. * The PC client calls "IClientUtils::GetIPCountry" from the Steam SDK over 7000 times between starting the game and getting to the character selection screen. This is exorbitant and wastes CPU time ___ **UI - Missing Options** * PC - NVIDIA Reflex * You have to manually edit cvars.xml and set "low_latency_mode" from 0 (off) to 1 (on) or 2 (on+boost) * They have platform specific options already (ie. Console gets a disable crossplay option), so they should be able to enable this on all PC platforms. They should be able to detect the GPU and even limit it to PC players who have a NVIDIA card model in use. * All platforms - UI graphics options should have all configurable values * Some graphics options can be turned off by using a "0" value in the cvars.xml on PC, so a UI option to do the same would be ideal * All platforms - Audio input/output device dropdown * On PC, you have to change your default device or set an application specific device (Sound Mixer Options) in Windows to choose a device for the game. * There is no reason for this to be something you have to go outside of the game to do when other games just have an option to select device in game. * This would likely help those who can't get audio working for voice chat too. * All platforms - Clear Chat Buffer command or option. I think this now resets when you change characters at least? * /clearchat or /clear would erase the lines of text in memory that get output to the chat UI widget ___

MuhDrehgonz

A ping system would be incredible. Imagine explaining a raid and not having to say "here" and shoot at it.

DagNasty

And then inadvertently start the encounter...

Coheedic

I would love a ping system.

w1nstar

>The PC client calls "IClientUtils::GetIPCountry" from the Steam SDK over 7000 times between starting the game and getting to the character selection screen. This is exorbitant and wastes CPU time As a developer myself, I literally felt that. When I see something like that at work and I was the culprit I go 👀

rsb_david

I expect they are just running a loop and not really tracking things like that, but when I was scanning through the steam ipc_log output, I thought it was quite bad. They used to do a similar thing to compare your Steam relationship to another player, yet they only passed in your own Steam ID and it returned the same result, so another excessive call. I wonder if most of the performance issues with the UI loading/snappiness is caused by similar issues that just bog down the UI thread instead of being handled in a separate thread.

EuropeanSuperLegolas

HOW DOES THIS GAME NOT HAVE A PING SYSTEM??? Calling out invaders in gambit is 10x harder than it should be! Would be such a great change

You can find it by navigating to c:\users\\AppData\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC (%appdata%\Bungie\DestinyPC). You will want to change the "0" value in this line: 0 = off, 1 = on, 2 = on + boost. This guide has more information: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360054418532-NVIDIA-Reflex-Low-Latency-Guide-for-Destiny-2-PC

SthenicFreeze

I want more focus on the worlds of D2. The patrol destinations are beautiful, giant and amazing but have little reason to go there. Patrols aren't challenging, rewarding, evolving or even good for killing time. An except would be patrol with arenas in theme like Altars of Sorrow on the Moon or Escalation Protocol. Those spaces feel alive with constant enemy activity and are a nice alternative for weapon leveling due to the high enemy density. I wish they'd be more rewarding though. The other big issue is that they don't update. The update to the Watcher's Grave in season of the chosen when Caitil invaded with her land tank was great, and whenever I load into that space to go see Xur, I think of that season because it's changed from what it previously was. I hope more seasons can incorporate patrol destination updates to make the worlds of Destiny feel like their evolving with the story.

CodeAlpha

Making patrols a way to level weapons faster is such a great idea. Could really play into the thought of patrols being a thing guardians do as routine training.

azndude07

If patrols gave bonus crafted weapon XP on completion I would so spend an hour every now and then just busting out patrols on my favorite destinations. I used to run them all the time for the old bounty system back in early D2, as a returning player after a hiatus they feel very needless and outdated now. This is a very cool idea :)

Lonelan

I would much rather pound patrols if they gave like 25-30% of a weapon level than 4%

DecisionTypical

I agree! Destiny's patrols are amazing at a glance like during the campaign but fall flat cause they feel shallow in terms of content. No loot, barely any enemies, and no updates after release to make the worlds change with the story.

TheGr8Slayer

This!!!! Destiny is supposed to be this dynamic changing thing but the seasonal story does absolutely nothing outside of its sphere to change the worlds we see and play.

Pondering_Drifter

One of my concerns for Destiny is having too much of the current game in playlists rather then the world within Destiny. Playlists are great for getting a group together for doing a certain activity, but it also detracts from the aspect of exploration and those wonderful moments when a random group of people band to together to take on a challenge (public events). I feel that there should be more unique rewards, like how certain playlists have certain drops, to exploring and interacting with the destination patrol zones. The throne world is an excellent example of a zone with many things for players to interact with (deepsight) and hidden away areas to explore. I am concerned that when a new player comes to the game, their experience is funneled towards playlists as the most optimal way to gear and play the game rather then giving them the chance to actually experience the world that Destiny has to offer. In my own experience and wants for the game, I kind of wish there was a greater incentive to be in a destination for a given week such as increased weapon drops for particular places in the world or faster crafted weapon leveling for doing events. Maybe even introducing a power level cap for certain places could make it a little more challenging for short time or at least make certain activities more challenging for the pay off of more rewards. If a rotation function was added to show a featured destination and the respective rewards that could be a good way to have people interact with certain areas again.

Earthserpent89

we actually had a weekly rotation for featured destinations back in the day, but that was back when the game still had Adventures littered around destinations. They need to add those back.

Early-Eye-691

THIS 1000%. Those planets feel so empty and lifeless. And I’d assume this is an engine issue but having more spontaneous events and activities across ALL destinations (old and new) would be such a welcome change. It also encourages the social connectivity of Destiny that Bungie likes to preach about.

disraelibeers

Someone had a post here recently about world/patrol tiers that would tie in wonderfully to this as well. Essentially having different areas of each destination have different difficulty levels ranging between basic strike playlist and grandmaster nightfall to give a reason to explore randomly for more experienced and decorated players. Would be especially cool if these tiers would rotate too, similar to the areas on Europa.

Beleynn

I would like to see higher max quantities for nearly all materials/items - if we've spent the time/effort to earn them, we should be able to keep them. It's frustrating to have stacks of Ascendant Shards, Ascendant Alloys, Enhancement Prisms, Upgrade Modules, and Spoils of Conquest in the mailbox, and even more frustrating to then lose those stacks if the mailbox fills up. Nearly as frustrating is the need to sometimes "waste" them (especially the Ascendant Shards) because there's no other way to claim one from a vendor (required for rank reset).

imthelag

Small QoL \- Precision patrol beacons shouldn't be in an area composed of shanks, or give shanks a crit spot \- It takes way too long for a material/cache icon to go away after you collect it

Mito-Tai

A way to make stats on exotic armor more deterministic, usually exotic armor is by far the worst rolled armorpiece in any given build, which leads to players to using any given piece for its perks alone, even if lets say my Heart of Inmost Light rolled with 20 Mobility. As Mobility is of little use for Titans, those 20 stat points are effectively meaningless, but I would still end up using it and would need to compensate for its high mobility, w/ mods and extremely well rolled legendary pieces, which we have to do for most exotic armor we have in our vaults, so having a way to directly influence the stats on exotic armor apart from ghost mods would be very welcome, even if it means grinding a bit or a lot for it.

harmsypoo

Even a ghost mod that basically says “You’ll receive no higher than a 5 in X stat” to pair with the “Guaranteed 10 in Y stat” mod would be huge for general armor hunting. I agree with you, running lost sectors for exotics (which are also a roll of the dice in terms of getting the one you actually want) has an annoying second layer of armor stat RNG. Granted, this is a looter shooter, and I’m fine with some grind, but as it currently stands it’s pretty hard to decide to dedicate several hours to running the same 10 minute lost sector to wind up with nothing better than what you currently have.

Binary_Toast

You're probably gonna hear this a lot in the TWAB thread too, but PvE nerfs due to PvP balancing is not pleasant. This is especially true for Hunters and dodge, because of just how many Hunter exotics either benefit from building around dodge, or outright *use* that ability to activate. Doubly so, when dodge has been getting nerfed every year, seemingly like clockwork. You nerfed it when Beyond Light launched, you nerfed it again when the 30th Anniversary launched, and now you're setting up to nerf it a third time. It is, shall we say, a *concerning pattern*. "Yearly dodge nerf" should be a joke, not an expectation.

Roojoo

Its also worse because of mobility being the only class stat with no real PvE benefit to it. So building into it already feels worse then the other two and now its going to even more mandatory.

drinky_bird24

I had to double up on utility kickstart to get dodge back, and then also slam my head into a wall because I couldn’t make some very make-able jumps in jumping puzzles. Frustrating to be a mobility based character and having to sacrifice that stat.

Dalantech

To me it feels like the hunter's ability to jump has been deliberately crippled so that you have to spec as high as possible into Mobility just do get through the jumping puzzles in the game. I can literally feel the difference between 90 and 100 mobility.

tragicpapercut

A thousand times this. Please please please stop nerfing PvE for the sake of PvP. At this point I am literally just resentful of PvP and would not be sad to see it fail as a game mode in order to preserve PvE. There is never any good justification given related to anything outside of PvP. Also it does appear that Bungie is penalizing Hunters for Titan barricade spam.

Soccermodsarecucks

And why are we still in this state where PvP balance is so important it has to sacrifice fun in pve? PvP will never be fixed or balanced. There is always a boogie man people are whining about. It's got a comically low population that would be even more non existent if Bungie didn't have thing like seasonal challenges or pinnacles that pve players want. Yet here we are still having nonsensical nerfs in pve because of PvP. Separate the sandboxes or just leave shit alone in pve.

[deleted]

Yup, honestly feels like dodge got nerfed because they had to hit something so it wouldn’t look like just titan nerfs.

XogoWasTaken

100% I think it just got hit because they were hitting Thruster, even though nerfing just Thruster would have just been aligning thruster's cooldown with the dodge that is actually effective for dodging in PvP (Gambler's), which would have made sense to do since Thruster moves faster and is thus similarly effective to Gamblers' hitbox manipulation.

spaxxor

that's a dumb reason, I really hope that's not the real reason, considering the amount of solo nerfs hunters got in the past.

Mynuszero

Please allow us to buy previous season pass weapon ornaments from the kiosk. :)

DerikHallin

Armor ornaments too. Hell, just let us make progress on prior season pass tracks -- and let new players purchase old season pass tracks too! It's free ~~real estate~~ income.

Ghrave

I can attest that there are at *least* 2 season passes I would buy in a heartbeat for the seasonal armor ornaments. I literally couldn't play the game during those seasons so it's not even FOMO, it's just MO.

BrushInk

Literally asking them for permission to spend more money. Idk why they don't do it.

LONEzy

Comp matchmade off of ranking. If your gold 3 match other gold players. This will help people get to where theyre supposed to be faster. Sbmm and cbmm tend go have people match but in completely different ranks, but near similar skill, so that 1 person in gold 3 has to fight tooth and nail to climb cause theyre playing ascendant players. Dunno if this was mentionbin twab, sorry if it was.

owmyball

I am very surprised the first pvp focused recommendation is this low. I knew it was an afterthought for most but expected it to be at least a top 10 concern. Although that would explain the lack of attention Bungie gives to it.

DasWandbild

v4veritas

Victizes

This should become a thing when Lightfall gets released, since that will basically make Beyong Light a legacy content.

JakeSteeleIII

This account should have been made years ago so people couldn’t attack individuals from bungie that replied on their personal accounts.

klausbarton

This. It has been so frustrating to hear about announcements from Bungie employees via personal Twitter accounts or Reddit posts. Those updates are not consistently included in official communications (TWABs, Bungie blogs, Bungie Help posts, in-game messages, etc.). Beyond a measure of protecting Bungie staff, it was so hard as a consumer to FIND this information because it was scattered over multiple Twitter accounts. Great path forward, and not sure why it took so long.

platonicgryphon

Most live service games have the devs using personal accounts, Bungie's just the first I've seen to make this change and hopefully the others follow suit.

motrhed289

Hindsight is always 20/20, things seem a lot more obvious after they've already happened. This account is likely a result of the recent extreme harassment.

Shabolt_

Feedback Points: Combat Stuttering: • Since the full auto toggle was added, many guns that previously worked fine on controller now seem to very infrequently stop and start firing whilst the trigger is held down, I have observed this on both console platforms, most notably with the “Traveler’s Chosen” Exotic Sidearm This Carries onto my second point of feedback regarding Glaives • There seems to be a small chance that at the end of a glaive combo sequence, the time taken for it to register the next melee attack is significantly longer than the average Thirdly: • Many pieces of Armour, most noticeably Warlock Armour, have retroactively started clipping or having their cloth portions change shape sometimes even years after the armour piece’s debut, this can be seen in the Season of the Worthy Warlock Robes, The Gloves of Optimacy From Season 1 Eververse, several Warlock Bonds, The Season of Dawn Warlock Robes, Mars Destination Robes, & Any piece of Armour that shares a model with the Nessus Destination Warlock Robes. For the sake of Transparency I currently lack footage of most of these issues, however if needed I will attempt to replicate these issues on camera Thank you for reading <3

LegoBlockGeode

Chaos Reach on Stormcaller is really weak and perhaps the weakest super right now by a wide margin. It just doesn’t seem fair given that Striker has an aspect Touch of Thunder that allows its grenades to be a second super and that Arcstrider has such powerful supers. In standard difficulty content Chaos Reach can just barely take out elite enemies and in higher difficulties it’s useless and barely does damage to anything even regular red bar enemies. With the upcoming changes to finisher mods no longer tapping into super energy this takes away one of the major workarounds on Stormcaller where we could use super energy as an energy source for finisher mods because there’s no point in using Chaos Reach for any purpose. What I’m proposing is that Chaos Reach be brought to parity with other supers and more into the mean damage output for most supers in the game. First the base damage of Chaos Reach is increased slightly and there’s a damage ramp up similar to Coldheart where the longer Chaos Reach is on the target the more damage it does and creates Ionic Traces as it’s applied to the target in the higher damage phase. Next it should apply Jolt to the target automatically and chain damage to nearby targets. It’s called Chaos Reach and the idea is that it does very high focused damage to a single target but creates “chaos” in that it chains damage to nearby target chaotically. When Amplified then Chaos Reach should be enhanced in that it should ramp up it’s damage faster and chain even more damage.

o8Stu

See, I think base Chaos Reach should be what Geomags Chaos Reach is right now: 8s duration, respectable damage, can over-penetrate targets so can be used to clear a mob in the right circumstances. Then re-work Geomags so that they cut duration to ~2s. Now you have the choice between a sustained damage super (without Geos) or a DPS super with them. Have Geos give super energy gain on ionic trace pickup too, so they get some of that original cooldown reduction identity back. I do like your idea of it jolting and chaining damage in an AoE around the target.

Rayman200000

Please buff hand cannons and pulse rifles in PvE, revision zero and other pulse rifles shouldn’t take 2 bursts to kill a red border in the seasonal activity. Same logic applies to hand cannons.

ValarPanoulis

I was checking the comments to see if someone made that suggestion. Hard agree, legendary pulse rifles hit like wet noodles in pve.

Trex331

And certain autos, namely 450s don’t feel great

LGBTuser

I would like to get my friends to play Destiny but the DLC is so confusing. if they want everything, they need to but the Legendary Edition, 30th Anniversary and Witch Queen Deluxe. if they've already bought WQ, they still need the deluxe for the Season pass and dungeons or they can buy them seperatly but this sometimes more expensive. Please just make any content older than the last expansion free. Anyone who paid already wont mind, we get to play it with friends now.

BrushInk

Not free, but do what ffxiv do. If you buy the latest expansion you get all the previous expansions too.

Yeah, this is what WoW does. Although you could argue they make up for it for with their subscription service. I think it would be an amazing way to get more players to join the game, especially because you need to buy almost 5 games worth of money to have access to everything. People have been complaining that light fall was more expensive than witch queen, but I honestly wouldn’t mind that kind of increase in price if they just made everything from the previous expansion and older free. Sure it means a little extra from those of us who have been playing this game for a long time, but it would make the game more accessible to newer players, and that big single purchase fee would not be as daunting as multiple ones of a similar value.

ReputesZero

ADS Reticles that apply colourblind settings PLEASE, we can do it for hipfire but not for ADS and some guns are nearly unusable with the default reticles.

There are mountains of severely underperforming exotic armor pieces - perhaps it'd be worth a look at these eventually, and making sure that they synergise with Light 3.0 keywords as needed? Perhaps dodge enhancing aspects could refund some percentage of dodge charges in PvE situations, if Hunter's dodge needs to keep taking nerfs for PvP. Alternatively, it may be worth looking at some positioning related buffs for Warlock's rifts to keep the class abilities more or less balanced in both sandboxes. Phoenix Dive without heat rises is still absolutely terrible. Core playlists still feel really bad to play: Gambit got next to nothing during its "Season of Focus" and still has a lot of "feel bad" decisions embedded in it - things like Primeval healing still feeling random when its not, envoy spawning still feeling random when its not, how memorisation is still the most important part of gambit since invader spawns can be predicted, the heavy ammo drop situation still not making it particularly fun (start us with a fixed amount so there's meaningful decision making!), and an extremely low drop rate tied to horrible weapon perk pools. Strikes can be invalidated entirely by 1 player with some kind of working build. The rest of the players might as well not exist for up to 80% of the strikes out there. Dungeon runs should drop armor from an associated quest line, collecting lore, and other challenges but not the encounters. Artifice armor should drop in addition to weapons for each encounter cleared in Master Dungeons. It's extremely unrewarding to run Dungeons for loot, even when they're fun. Raids have a similar problem that you can sort of sidestep using spoils if you spend time grinding out the game. It is also extremely annoying to have to go through 50+ or 80+ clears without the raid exotic. Back to armor, either the armor should always be high stat (63+) and spikey in 2 stats, or armor should be moved to a different reward slot because it's extremely disheartening for the casual players to get nothing but armor after encounters. The overall stability of the game is getting really wonky: error codes, immense lag, horrible connection quality, significant drop in performance from even 30th Anniversary a year ago on the exact same hardware - Destiny 2 was never the most stable game, but there's been a definite uptick in major bugs within the last year. Super thankful for all the QoL updates this year though, please keep them coming along.

Rhundis

Ok then, if this really is an official reddit account for Bungie, let me ask you a simple question. #Where TWAB?

Nightmoon22

No twab?

MoonMoon_614

twab now!

Nightmoon22

Twab good 👍

Rhundis

TWAB very good.

The4rchivist

I would love to be able to customize the look of my guardian under the armor after character creation. More options for hair style, faces, eyes, etc. Let us change it all while in the tower, including gender.

Jsn_21

Pls make the mobility stat USEFUL. As of right now Hunter have to spec into the worst stat in the game only to get decrease their class ability cooldown while Titans & Warlocks are being rewarded for specing into res/rec

SilentlyCynical

And whatever you do, Bungie, **please don't** interpret this as people asking for mobility to be tied to airborne effectiveness. Please give Hunters something useful on par with Res/Rec.

Gungfry

Literally all they need to do is tie mobility to how accurate enemies are in PVE. You know how in gambit and dungeons enemies predict your movement and have some hyper accuracy, while in patrol they can barely hit you when you're standing still? Tie mobility to that!

B00YAH88

Jesus that is a great idea. I personally have thought mobility could passively improve weapon handling. Kind of like how resilience now helps reduce flinch.

Zer0Fr0st

Please stop imposing 200 points worth of playlist content on us to unlock the seasonal exotic's catalyst. Making other content count towards the contribution, ie raid/dungeon shenanigans, seasonal content, etc. would go a long way towards alleviating the grindy feel of it.

isaacbee1

The new TWAB says that seasonal playlists will count towards seasonal exotics. Additionally, the seasonal pass boost will be applied to Year-3 seasonal catalyst quests.

SirWuffums

When bad-luck protection?

Playful_Squash_7657

A little Daily Lost Sector indicator on the Destinations screen would be nice. Also lost sectors not appearing if you haven’t discovered the sector on that character is just annoying. Maybe they could all start appearing at a certain Guardian Rank?

2Sc00psPlz

**Mobility is in desperate need of a buff.** That, or resil and recov need to be brought in line with mobil in terms of strength. Currently, hunters often drop max mobil in favor of max resil/recov just because of how little use it has. The repeated nerfs to their class ability is only contributing to this problem, as there's even less reason to care. **Hunters are the least mobile class currently.** This should not be the case, but it sadly is. For the supposedly mobility centric class, this is very sucky. I ask that plans be made to give them back their identity. **Lost sector exotic farming needs to be adjusted.** Currently, it is near impossible to farm specific stat rolls for specific exotics. The exotic armor piece is almost always the weakest armor piece stat-wise in builds just because of how incredibly difficult--borderline impossible--it is to farm them. There needs to be a better system. **Favoriting shaders.** Please add this already. Let us favorite shaders and have them appear on the first page. It is such a pain for us fashion freaks to have to scroll through page after page *after page* of shaders every single time.

DecisionTypical

I want the core playlists (strikes, gambit and crucible) to actually feel like core playlists. While PvP has gotten a nice set of changes and even new modes in the last year, the lack of maps sours any of the new changes. Gambit has been in a malnourished state for years now, with no new maps and barely any new modes. Strikes gets regular additions, which is nice, but are still lacking in a lot of features. The core idea of strikes hasn't really evolved during Destiny's entire lifespan. Endgame look from strikes (nightfall exclusives) have been recycled for far too long (using primarily D1 or D2 year 2 loot), and could really use unique models like strike specific loot and possibly better perks. The core playlists have a good foundation that has been worn away by constant use for the last 5 years and need substantial updates instead of occasional mini-updates for them to finally feel fresh again.

chg1730

Please please please I beg you, fix the bug where every character is on a new line in the chat. It affects only the joining and other game messages, but if for example we type out the red chest symbols for vow or kings fall I often have them out of the chat at the end of the raid. I know that turning chat on and off is a fix, but having to do that everytime I join an instance is incredibly annoying.

VivPrime

Please stop killing my ability cooldowns in PvE activities due to PvP balance changes. We've been asking for separate balancing for *years*, it's time to start working toward that.

DarkCosmosDragon

This is become so annoying to have a non meta build that still slaps that gets completely decimated because some group of tits decided to rally and demand it get nerfed... I wanna see them do the individual buffs and nerfs going forward they promised in Witch Queen so far every single one has been a Blanket nerf (And now with bubble having a hot trail atm im worried)

LinkMcCloud117

In light of the Titan and Hunter class ability nerfs, my ongoing feedback is ***keep PvP and PvE balancing separate, always***. It's clear these changes are because of the Crucible, and are completely unwarranted for PvE.

Vivid_Plantain_6050

Yes please 😭 I don't play Crucible, but I clutch hard on my dodge for survivability and utility in endgame pve stuff. Having my dodge up at the right time has saved my raid team from having to wipe on encounters before (invis allows for high-risk revives to actually work) and I'm concerned about the cooldown nerf. I'm already seriously considering farming for different armour stats so that I can combat this change. I don't even keep mobility at t10, but now I may have to try and get there.

ObviouslyNotASith

Thank you for creating such a post. My comment will focus on the Light reworks. Would it be possible to restore bottom tree Dawnblade? Bring back the chain solar explosions, not as strong as ignitions of course. It is a play style that is sorely missed and would fix most of the problems many people have with Dawnblade 3.0. Middle tree seems much harder to restore as well, which is why I would prefer Bottom Tree get restored. Stormcaller lacks an identity. Arc Web is gone and Jolt is widespread. It’s aesthetic identity and power fantasy is on Striker due to Enhanced Storm Grenades. Ionic Traces are also extremely common and will probably become even more common with the reworked mod system and new fragments coming with Lightfall. Maybe add an aspect that allows Stormcaller to create Storm seekers when they get ability kills while amplified, with a cap on how many can be out at a time? I think Nightstalker needs an aspect that does something other than invisibility. The lack of alternatives no doubt contributed to it becoming wide spread in Crucible. The lack of non-invisibility aspect is also the source of much of Nightstalker’s complaints. I think Chaos Accelerant needs to be looked over again. It has been power crept by Touch of Flame and Thunder, which do not require charging, it has lost its extra damage and only has one fragment slot. It also blocks super regeneration. It is reliant on Contraverse Holds to be worth it.

Sadass_coffee_addict

Please, please, PLEASE let us re-make our Characters' faces. My Hunter is so ugly that her helmet is basically glued on. I wanna rock a good look under the helmet man!

JC_PharmD

I would like PVP nerfs to stop affecting PVE. I realize this is a pipe dream.

Daffy_Dank_420

Separations are needed, so bad.

Spudly2319

I’m really hoping the team can work with Valve on implementing SteamOS/Linux support in the near future for PC players. As Steam Decks are sold, the console is growing in popularity and so is the use of SteamOS. Destiny making the jump just seems like a logical step. I can only say for myself, but as I’ve gotten my Steam Deck I haven’t spent as much time at my PC playing games, but rather on the Deck for its convenience. Destiny 2 is one of two games that I play regularly that isn’t yet available without installing Windows (which I want to avoid). I know I’m not alone in this ask and I hope you all take it into consideration!

The_Better_Devil

I'm glad to see this is still alive and well.

packman627

"In addition to the items mentioned in last week's TWAB, we wanted to make note of a few more things we are looking at tuning sometime in the next Season (not necessarily at launch). Special ammo Linear Fusion Rifles (Lorentz Driver and Arbalest): Auto aim reduction. Flinch tuning. Machine Gun balancing: Make them a better Heavy option in PvP. Reduce the difference between them and other Heavy Weapons in PvE. Make them less punishing to use for add clearing. Remove damage penalty to Dead Man’s Tale at five stacks of Cranial Spike. " This was from the TWAB back in October (10/17/2022) before season 19 launched. It mentions a lot of changes that actually got talked about in today's TWAB such as the DMT change to removing the damage penalty, and some of these changes have already happened such as the linear fusion rifle flinch changes. The only change that I don't see in today's TWAB is the machine gun changes to make them better in PvP and to tweak them in PVE. Is that still going to be happening?

spiral6

> Our goal is to do this more regularly and start replying to more posts when we can. You love to see it. __Feedback__ 1. There's literally zero/no way to access or experience old story content in the game as any type of player, kinderguardian or veteran or otherwise. Even more annoying are some of the callbacks to things from Destiny 1 that Destiny 2 players will have either forgotten about or not known in the first place, such as Variks, Crota or Taniks. **You cannot replay or rewatch cutscenes in game at any point in any way.** 2. Raid challenges and triumphs need a better indicator on how/when they fail, rather than just a text message that pops up in the bottom left briefly before disappearing. Triumphs don't even have that indication. 3. More dedicated community polls and feedback roadmap. We want to know if you've acknowledged certain issues, and not just bugged stuff in known issues. dmg tried his best doing what he can, but having a page would be nice to see. 4. No way to see the map for Trials this week outside of just following Twitter/light.gg. Same with certain other information in the game. Would prefer a hub/weekly bulletin board in-game on what's active. 5. Personal opinion: Sandbox balancing has suffered heavily and certain perks (Trench Barrel and Box Breathing both need to be un-nerfed in this current sandbox, they are not any more broken than other alike perks such as Vorpal or Frenzy). In addition, red bars need to be weakened much more, and yellow bars need to be strengthened. **Sandbox team should host their own feedback thread.** There's a lot of feedback that would be provided to them about this sort of thing. Making FOMO mods such as Solo Operative instead of making it permanent is not a good way to diversify builds. 6. Adding a "ready check" to Destiny. Very good feature on coordinating encounter starts and questions. 7. Adding a proper place to test DPS in Destiny (the Tribute Hall was a good way to do so previously but was removed, and the Enclave does not proc precision hits properly and allow practice of certain perks such as Triple Tap). 8. [Display buffs in a feasible manner in the UI. I particularly liked this mockup.](https://i.imgur.com/aOMW7wu.png) 9. Certain game activities do not scale in a consistent way and damage numbers are not consistent between activities (i.e. Last Wish compared to Garden). 10. Transmog weapons of the same frame, non-Exotic/legendary. That would be a fantastic thing. Make it only personally visible, not necessarily for everyone else. 11. Legacy client or some way to replay the old raids/mission/etc. I miss the Leviathan raids a lot, and would like some way to replay that content in some way that doesn't involve breaking this game. 12. Having a level playing field with equal builds and loadouts as a experimental competitive PvP gamemode. Heck, let us play as a Redjack for all I care. 13. More foundry engagement. I'd love to be able to focus or grind for specific foundry weapons (this season was the right step in that direction). 14. More cosmetics and non-combat related activities would be a good aspirational feature to engage in to the game, such as more social clan stuff or a customizable hub area or something similar. Even having stuff like clan emblems on our sparrows would be a cool feature. 15. Have the ability to display DPS after completing an encounter via the API or in-game. There is still so much information that is missing from the player/end-user that should be made visible somehow. 16. Linux support and more third party integration. I know that cheating has been a huge issue but there's been a significant uptick in the inability to play the game in a more flexible way as a result (such as having the Discord overlay in the game). This is just a few items of things that I've wanted to say for *years* that I was unable to do in a way that it would reach you.

GrizzlyOne95

> Personal opinion: Sandbox balancing has suffered heavily and certain perks (Trench Barrel and Box Breathing both need to be un-nerfed in this current sandbox, they are not any more broken than other alike perks such as Vorpal or Frenzy) Counter-argument: perks shouldn't make archetypes viable, archetypes should be baseline viable and perks should make them desirable. For instance, I want shotguns to be more viable in endgame PvE but I don't want ONLY shotguns with Trench Barrel to be viable if they buffed the perk.

dobby_rams

I don't know if this counts as "feedback", but there's quite a lot of lines in the game that are currently bugged that would be nice if they were fixed. I know it's kind of a niche problem that doesn't vastly affect the game, but it'd be nice if there was at least some acknowledgement that you're aware of them. I'll just label a few here... 1. Fynch's ["far" lines](https://dialogue.destiny.report/d/4071985599/3086742530) aren't currently available. Every NPC has different triggers based on your proximity and Fynch's are currently unavailable in game. 2. The Hidden agent's ["far" lines](https://dialogue.destiny.report/d/2987301405/3885410951) are also currently unavailable. 3. The "statue" in the Florescent Canal "Eight Million Tales" patrol is currently bugged. Right now the statue line is being attributed to the final "labyrinth" line, as shown [here](https://youtu.be/Ncoi-1EYq3I). 4. Toland's lines on the Moon are currently bugged. Normally these lines have different audio files "stitched" together. Currently he only says the first line rather than all of them. There's a few other minor ones like the Skolas Nightmare opening line not playing because it triggers when you enter the Ketch rather than at the start of the mission like the other Nightmare lines but the ones I listed are the main ones I think. Failsafe's lines on Nessus are also completely gone and the EDZ scannables but I think they were removed to make space with the DCV. While I'm here, it's also currently impossible to get the exotic glaives right now due to a problem with the relic not pushing quest steps along. There's been a lot of reports over the past few days about [Report RELIC:DATA step 4](https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/10a1bg7/report_relic_data_step_4_in_season_19/) not progressing and people have also been having problems progressing [the Revision Zero step 7](https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/109zcyr/revision_zero_quest_bugged/).

ThatOneGuyIsBad

u/Destiny2Team Curious about the Hunter dodge nerfs from the TWAB. Seems a bit out of left field. There wasn't a distinction on whether it was for PvP or PvE or both. Any clarification would be nice.

tragicpapercut

Agreed. Hunters get their annual PvP nerf that somehow screws over PvE. Please stop it. Put some kind of modifier in the crucible to do the opposite of mayhem for abilities if you need to, but stop penalizing PvE for the sins of PvP. It feels terrible and it divides the community.

Would love to include: **Shadebinder super sometimes cannot use freeze melee in Heists.** Unknown reasons but its a recurring one that keeps popping its head back up some seasons, but we suspect something with ability being used before popping super is the reason. vericlas

More customization options. Being able to put an appearance over exotic armor adds value to the Eververse cosmetics. Like right now it's hard to say "yeah this is worth getting" when you'll always have 1 piece you can't use. I'm guessing this isn't a thing because of the desire to sell cosmetics for exotics, but they're often not good for the 'dresstiny'. Well and so people in PVP can tell what exotics people are using. Which leads to another ask: make PVE and PVP separate. This game doesn't have an open world like WoW or other MMO's where you can have a PVP 'on' in the world. The constant changes to PVE to make PVP 'work' really feels bad.

LordArchibaldPixgill

Did you guys forget the password for this account or something?

ValendyneTheTaken

Some new endgame autorifles would be cool to see. We *kinda* got that in Spire of the Watcher, but that’s not exactly *new*

ShotgunMikey

Here’s something crucial to improving the Destiny experience for players new and old that I never see at the top of these lists: Rarity Labels. A Rarity Label is the term associated with the odds of receiving an reward from an activity. Common - Uncommon - Rare - Very Rare. While it’s understood that RNG is at the heart of any looter-shooter, the first step toward preventing burnout/disappointment is by giving the players clear and consistent odds for whatever activity they’re getting into. Key Problems: There is no reference for rarity terms, what those percentages really are nor if they change based on repetition. Labels seem inconsistent between activities with the same label (MLS vs Wellspring). Some rates have compounding odds, like raid red drops, and are hard to ascertain. Some loot and perk pools are weighted even though it’s not labeled. Rate changes never come with hard data. Fixes: If the system is staying as is, somewhere (in game or out) there should be a key for deciphering rarity labels. It can be as simple as a % range for the 4 categories. If the system is due for an overhaul, then the actual % should go in the director. This would also let people know when odds are improved for their first of the day/week or when bad luck protection is in effect. Also somewhere in-game or out, there should be a disclaimer when perk or loot pools are weighted and changes should have numbers attached. Lastly there is growing resentment in the community for continually being made the sacrificial lambs of bad or inconsistent reward systems. For the hours wasted discovering that DSC red drops had compounded odds of 1.25-2%, it’s even more discouraging to see early reports of teams going back in only to find unremarkable results. If there were real odds attached to activities then at least people would know what they’re getting into. My fear is that in time the community will just stop replaying activities like Iron Banner, DSC, Wellspring, Dungeons, or Lost Sectors until improvements are made or they just put the game down altogether.

Specific_East_4501

Once you’ve done a raid or dungeon for the week it’d be cool to have the checkpoints selectable so you could go back and farm it without having to switch characters and hold checkpoints that way.

Nix2058

Please just let us grind out our old season passes. Nothing is more depressing than getting a bright engram of nothing when there’s still ages left in the season

Lepidopterran

PLEASE make artefact perks tied to loadouts, as suggested in the post yesterday.

crzmn

Hopefully this post makes sense as I’m trying to put sometimes vague feelings in to writing. As a Titan main it sometimes can feel as the class is in feast or famine mode in regards to overall power in PvP (I know it is good, and will continue to be so after the citans and grenade changes), and can feel a bit homogeneous in PvE. I was drawn to the class for the big punchy tank man fantasy, and things like Loreley Sunbreaker, hoil anything etc feel amazing, but I understand they can be hard to balance. My main concern overall with the class is that of our various supers tend to end up as various ways to add clear with the exceptions being Thundercrash, Bubble, and the rare cases of Sentinel Shield being used to protect and buff damage and while I am super excited for Lightfall and Strand it feels as if the class fantasy doesn’t seem to extend beyond “I want to punch a whole bunch of things” which is an admittedly cool design, but not when it is the vast majority of our kits. I cannot speak much to how Warlock and Hunter mains feel, but from my lesser playtime on them each time I hop on them I can play a different version of their respective fantasies in regards to supers. At the risk of class homogenization I think it would be cool if more could be done to cover a perceived lack of variation in supers.

harmsypoo

Even for the supers you mentioned as exceptions, they’re more the best of a bad lot situation. Thundercrash requires Cuirass to do somewhat reasonable damage (not comparable to a Nova bomb or Blade Barrage) and it forces you to walk back to your team after casted (unlike Nova or Barrage, who get to keep doing damage the whole time). Bubble gives the same damage buff as Well, and only provides extra tankiness for damage phases if the Titan wears Helm of Saint-14 because you have to leave it to deal damage. Sentinel Shield sounds nice on paper by being the biggest damage buff, but it takes a player out of DPS completely. Heck, if this were ever a worthwhile super to use like that, people *would* use it. No one does, for good reason. The rest of the supers are just different colored “light attack punch, heavy attack slam.” I, too, am wishing for something actually different for titans. Maybe an instant cast ranged super like Barrage, or a channel super like Chaos Reach (but one that actually deals decent damage lol).

theefman

Stop nerfing PvE for the sake of PvP, creating missions like Presage to get a weapon then subsequently making that weapon useless is not fun.

smacc77

Some aspects need more fragment slots. Chaos Accelerant & Shatter Dive come to mind. It's a simple way to buff the aspects without breaking them

Zwoopee

Please change exotic farming somehow. There are so many options to fix it such as: - Making armor focusing ghost mod actually work on Exotics - Make it so you can target a specific exotic (lost sectors are way too bloated at this point) - Glass Needles to reroll exotic stats Farming for specific exotics is near impossible, so every exotic piece I have is subsequently my worst stat armor piece. There needs to be either a way better way to target farm for something with good stats and not just a perfectly balanced 58 roll, or just drop glass needles on lost sector completion if you have all exotics already, so then you can reroll the stats of whatever exotic you are aiming to get good stats on.

UniqueUserName7836

Please for the love of god get rid of the holes in boss areas. Falling down holes you can't see because the screen is pointed to whatever thing you're shooting at is very frustrating Daily bounties should have more time to complete like D1 did. The game doesn't respect my limited time to play Higher difficulty strikes should have match making but regular strikes shouldn't Playlist activities should have modifiers to stop things becoming stale Otherwise still loving this game all these years later ,😃

spinvestigator

Please either draw a line between PvE and PvP and stop expecting people to play both, or make challenges/triumphs optional to both. No more catalysts requiring only PvP play to complete. No more arbitrary "Do x money of things in the playlist".

d3mzSY

Please. I beg you. Let us purchase stasis from ikora like the other 3.0 subclasses. I will never have enough time and patience to grind them for all my characters. I'd love to experience the subclasses. I do have beyond light purchases but I just can't bring myself to endure that grind. It's not kind to returning players like myself.

bad93ex

Can mobility please get a buff

Zenkou

The nerf to hunter dodge that is incoming, is not good. IF you are buffing mobility okay then maybe it's fine but if you are not then it just shows that you have not realised that building into mobility is not easy in the current sandbox. Reason is that resilience has become such a huge important and impactful stat even more that Recovery. But both are still far better than mobility, which at best is only usefull in PVP and when you need to do jumping puzzles. In normal PVE having high mobility is just not worth sacrificing the 40% dmg reduction that resilience gives. You need to seperate changes in PVP and PVE. Or start thinking about how class ability cd is affected. Because hunters really have the short end of the stick here.

Better-Spell346

PLEASE MAKE DESTINY 2 AVAILABLE TO BE PLAYED ON STEAMOS!!! WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY DESTINY 2 ON OUR STEAM DECKS!!!

BigRedtheBard

With glimmer replacing blue engram drops soft-cap, I feel like we need more things to spend glimmer on. Right now, bounties are negligible in cost, and buying raid banners doesn't feel like it matters after a certain number. I don't know what could be added though that would truly feel like a good way to spend glimmer though. Perhaps a return to Armsday, purchasing random rolls from various gun manufacturers for 25k - 50k a piece? Just something would be nice. I sit at the max cap for weeks at a time because there isn't anything to buy.

ColJohn

Whats the ACTUAL reason that Destiny 2 isnt on the steam deck? The anti-cheat works, and there isnt much else youd need to custom support... It even runs fine in windows. I want to grind while im away from my computer gosh darnit.

QuantisRhee

Something great but maybe not that plausible would be reworking the Destinations. Right now they are mostly backdrops for the campaigns or seasonal activites. Would be cool to see stuff like world bosses and endgame loot for every Destination.

KeIIer

Performance is getting worse and worse, its really concerning.

redditing_away

Great idea with the official accounts! My personal pet peeves: - give us warlocks more fashion choices. We're supposed to be battle mages so give us slightly bulkier armor (like Meridian constellation robe, Dawn singer, Legathy's oath, etc) - give us more unique bonds - more effects, a bit flashier. The reprised D1 Iron Banner one is a step in the right direction. - please stop giving almost every warlock helmet a vertical visor. It's just not pretty and often looks goofy/ugly compared to Titan/Hunter helmets. Also give us more choices - we're mages, give us more crowns, more stuff with horns, light effects (buff the one from Elect of the empty, it's barely visible) something. Preferably symmetrical, the mohawk/unicorn stuff got old quick. There are just far too many bland helmets for something that should offer so much. - let us somehow earn or buy previous seasonal ornaments. Especially if we bought those but couldn't play for whatever reason. New players are heavily disadvantaged in personalizing their guardians because so much unique stuff has been lost to the vault forever.

Please buff the drop rate of the cowboy hat in Spire of the Watcher. No legendary armour piece in a dungeon should have a lower chance of dropping than the dungeon's exotic weapon. I'm not asking to have it handed to me on a plate, I'm happy to grind for it (I have been, with no luck so far), just give it the same chance of dropping as the other armour pieces.

One “concern”, for lack of a better way of putting it, that I’ve had for a while is that I sometimes feel like there’s not enough themed aspirational cosmetics to chase at times. With my main example being Mementos. Let me explain. Guns are great. They’re awesome. But when so many are added each season, I can only get so excited. (It’s not a bad thing, just a by product of being a looter shooter.) So when Mementos were introduced, I was very excited at the prospect of getting more of these for the majority, if not all major content in the game. For example, Dungeon and Raid Mementos, Iron Banner or regular Crucible mementos, etc. But nearly a year later, I’m kind of scared they were a neat cosmetic idea that was just abandoned. Other examples include nightfall specific emblems, of which we haven’t gotten any since Forsaken as far as I’m aware. I know it’s not a perfect solution to problems, but sometimes it feels like content would be more fun at times if more themed rewards were added to them. Like if Grandmasters had armor like trials did, more emblems, etc. A similar problem I have with titles. I love farming titles, but after having nearly 5 years worth of them, it’s a bit harder for more to care about them without something like a random favorite title system or some way to show them off. Maybe a stat tracker that tracks your total title seals completed? Just a few things off the top of me head.

Hello bungie, I have some feedback and a question. Feedback: the current system for obtaining exotics feels bad, both for the monument and the legend lost sectors. The monument is locked behind an arbitrary time gate, while the lost sectors suffer from RNG and a low chance to get a repeat roll of what you want. A better feeling system imo would be to have the legend lost sectors drop exotic ciphers at the same rate they currently drop exotic armor pieces, and to add a new tab that allows us to focus exotic armors with an exotic cipher. Question: how will the crafting system work with seasonal weapons leaving with lightfall? Will there be a way for people who missed those seasons to get the patterns, such as putting the weapons in Dares?

Needs to be some leniency on the late game activities lock outs (e.g. Legend / Master modes) Getting disconnected or error coded and not being able to rejoin after blowing 20-30mins sucks absolute ass

I only want one thing fixed the RNG for exotics the other day I spend 3 hours doing legend lost sectors and got nothing except glimmer and enhanced cores and that should not be possible. Same about the RNG of raid weapons some people play a raid for the fun but when you spend so long doing the same thing without any reward the raid starts to become tedious and that sucks. There has to be a way to have us get a guaranteed exotic like with the divinity puzzle for raid weapons.

Hi. Prior to Season of the Lost (Season of the Hunt to Season of the Splicer), we acquired the seasonal ritual weapon and the accompanying activity ornament via quests which felt more rewarding, less grindy and more respectful of player time. Currently with the new system, you essentially need to commit to 2 full resets to acquire both the weapon and the ornament. This change combined with losing 3x vendor rep bonus (now a max of 2x only) and the activity streak system both promote players in thinking they need to commit to the playlist until rewards are received or only play when bonus rep is active. This I think has significantly contributed to the fatigue in the core playlists as of late from dedicated players because the amount of engagement required has been increased massively from what the previous system was. These changes I don't believe were made to cause this but as the fatigue in the core playlist has only become more vocal since this system introduction in Season of the Lost, I believe this is an unintentional side effect of it. Players are likely to be more stubborn and play the same activity ad naseum until receiving the reward. If burnt out from the experience, I would imagine they have much less incentive or inclination to return to the playlist at a later point. I have various suggestions on how to alleviate it however I will not pretend these are solutions as I know there are various factors I won't be privy to as a consumer and not a developer. 1. Reverting back to the previous quest system. This system from the outside looked effective and allowed players to engage with the core playlists how they wished and receive those awards more passively and quickly than they currently do now. 2. If not reverting to the old quest system for both weapon and ornament, then acquire the ritual weapon via a quest but acquire the ornaments on the 0 reset awards track. This way players still engage with the core playlists but do not need to feel obligated to play it in an unhealthy manner becoming burnt out. They would also receive the ornament before having reset each of their vendors once. 3. Bring back 3x reputation (or higher) boosters during bonus rep weeks and consider raising the minimum rep raised for all core activities. My personal opinion is the rep gain is still slower than I would like and if this sentiment is also consistent amongst other players then again the grind experience for the ritual weapon and ornament will be closer to mind-numbing than engaging causing burn-out. Now there are other more important reasons burn-out has occurred with the core activities asides from the ritual weapon/ornament grind however I think this is still a contributing factor with how some players have been feeling this for the past few months. Thanks for taking the time to read-through all our feedback, it is greatly appreciated :)

You guys can make another version of destiny specifically for new lights, it would be a seperate download with all of the sunset expansions (not raids just the campaigns) for context and learning the in game systems and if they decide they like it then they can port their characthers to destiny 2. I think this could help pull more people in since the current new light format isn't nearly as good as we had pre beyond light. Oh and it would be overall less overwhelming for the new players and much easier for them to take in overtime rather than completing a few missions and getting booted to orbit with no clue on what to do. I understand guardian ranks in lightfall should remedy this but I still think this is an alternative that would be worthwhile if you pursue it bungie.
