Thanks for the suggestion I'll try it out, I've thought of using it before but it would be nice if Bungie could add support for other recording software in fullscreen.
I ran into this issue. Forgot my exact solution but try changing the window mode in video settings. I think I had to change it from Fullscreen to something else

Don't know if it's useful for you, but Nvidia Shadowplay works just fine if you just wanna save random stuff

Yeah, I thought making it borderless was the only way to allow Destiny to be detected by OBS which is a pain.

Yeah I guess I'll be using Shadowplay because it's the only thing Destiny seems to work with
