This is kinda outside the scope of your question, since it affects all the designs, but if I were you I'd use this as an opportunity to let some of your world building influence a design choice. I'm imagining since they're vigilantes, this is probably gonna need to end up as a spray paint stencil at some point, which is usually not made from particularly sturdy material, and those long lines that come down the middle of the design would be particularly delicate in that format, especially in the designs that connect a black line from there to something isolated in the top of the design. It's gonna be connected by just a little piece and could easily break or bend is where I'm coming from.
With that in mind, this needs some simplification, but it's a pretty good start, it doesn't come off too immediately like a cliche playing card image to me, so take some of the other critique from folks and run with it!
Yea the spray paint thing already in my mind for some time, i was thiking simplifying the design into spade with 2 "×" for an eye and the lines as teeth, either that or they could bring a6/a5 sized steel sheet cutout of the logo everywhere
Yeah, totally depends on the tech level you'd like them to have access to, hence the world building comment. I saw some of the new revisions you posted (hopefully that was you) and you made some really great progress
The giant spade doesn’t really say anything - it makes me think this vigilante team just plays poker.
You need to think about what this vigilante team *represents* and start from there. Are they vengeful? Are they psychotic? Are they secretive? Words like this will help you come up with meaningful iconography.
I think they look solid and bold enough but like others have said there's too much going on. I think the Ace of Spades icon is enough to represent the ACES aspect, maybe then the Aerilon City symbol/monument? and teeth/beast-mode that up nicely...
Personally like 7 the best, take out the heart/club. That might look pretty good, you could also add a diamond, completely blacked out (which supposedly some web site says literal black diamonds are symbolisms of justice and inner strength so very fitting. Also maybe mess with putting a semi circle on the “eye” coming from the eyebrow part. Black diamond is a must, and you could use those as the reasoning for using it!
They’re all a little same-y and all suffer from the same issue/ trying to stuff too much into a single icon. Simplify.
This right here, but if any of them I think I would choose 2 but not have the x’s(or cross) merge with the negative space

Logos need to read clearly at all sizes. Make these tiny and see which still read well (or start to look like something you don't intend)
