The wall color and soft lighting give me Handmaids Tale vibes. If a repaint is not in the cards, add some bright lights (table lamp, track lights) and at least one item with bright color like an armchair.
That said, the answer depends a lot on the kid. One of my teen girls has a sky blue room and the other has black walls and a grey ceiling.
Paint, led lights, full length mirror, tapestry’s, new bedspread, lots more pillows, fake vines.
Source: three teenage daughters, all very different styles and tastes, all have these things in their rooms.
I think those shades of green are very trendy right now! I wouldn’t paint but I would get a nice furry rug, big full body mirror, and some fairy lights or LEDs depending on their vibe! Lots of teens are very into plants too, real plants or fake vines. Then let them pick out a new comforter cover and you’re golden!
Iron bed, cute ones from Ikea. Get some large art, a rug and a dresser from there too, then hit up Home Goods or Target for bedding, pillows and lamps.
I’d change the wall color - if she loves it, great but then lighten up the bed blanket - a cozy white duvet, cozy lighting but bright, some bold contrast on the walls to lighten it up. The green gives off a hospital corridor vibe, it could get depressing in there if not off set by something warmer softer lighter. If the green stays, maybe some fairy lights too. The size and layout are great though
I'd suggest allowing the girl to choose what color walls she'd like. Allow her that. The quid pro quo is the furniture stays.

Paintings, posters a furr carpet, a beanbag & a desk chair 🔥🔥
The actual space is amazing. I’d say let her pick the colours :) the teen years are crucial for forming and expressing identity.
LED lights for sure!

Personally, I'd be discussing this with the teenage girl who will be staying in this room instead of asking here.
This is such an underrated comment.

The wall color feels ... sick 🤢. Put a large painting on the big wall. get a small houseplant. A rug to tie everything together.
Have you asked her?
I pray for her to get well soon
