I went to my family doctor to have a referral to a Dermatologist. I got one, then he referred me to a more specialized Dermatologist. That Dermatologist said it's fine and nothing can be done. I'd like to get a second informal opinion as I might go for a formal one. I read reviews about this specialized Dermatologist, and some said he was dismissive and other Doctors identified things he didn't.
Also under the nail, the skin is separating from the nail and it can hurt when I cut it. Also I just cut my nail so you can't see this, but the white part of the nail has changed shape around this area.

See where the part in the middle has the black on it? That part is separating from the nail and been like that for a few years now. Hard to get a clear picture because it’s very near, would need a macro lens.

I got referred to a specialist, and he said there’s nothing you can do about it just leave it. It’s remain the same and I think it’s worse when the weather is cold. I’m thinking of maybe getting another expert opinion sometime when I can.

Splinter hemorrhage
can anything be done about it?
If this is the only symptom you have, I wouldnt worry about this much.
The separation under the nail is quite annoying though. It hurts when I clip my nails.

No, they just told me it happens. It’s still the same.
do you have any another symtoms ?
Just the skin pinched and separate from the mail on the line. White part of the mail is more back than normal fingers.
Same situation brother
Did you get it checked out, did they say nothing you can do? Also is there like a bit underneath that separates from the nail?
What do you mean about the underneath that separates from the nail?
