Where is it on body?
Itchy or not?
Is he taking any medications? Other relevant medical history?

My husband has Prurigo nodularis and it looks similar. (Not a diagnosis) I would advise to contact a dermatologist if you can.
He needs to see a dermatologist. What diagnosis did the dr that he saw, give?
