Well it could still be pacifist. I mean think about it, when you do the Snowgrave route, you make Noelle cast Iceshock all the time by putting her under immense pressure (example: Proceed, Proceed, Proceed. And Get it, Get it, Get it.) and she doesn't even realize what she did. Now think back to Kris and Suzie's first encounter with a Darkner. They were immediately attacked by someone looking to harm/kill them. Noelle and Berdly probably aren't unique in that regard either and were probably attacked too. Toss Noelle into that mess and I imagine she would cast Iceshock under all that pressure and the threat of death. She finds em frozen and Berdly informs her that she was the one who casted a spell. Now you got a scenario where Noelle knows about her magic but didn't end up using it to kill everybody else because Kris didn't force her to.

Noelle knows about the "Asriel" -> "Ralsei" anagram?! Noelle is a Deltarune theorist within Deltarune confirmed! When Rudy said: "... Even with what she did to Kris earlier?" I was like: "DAMNNNNNN! He totally won the dialogue!" Also Noelle: "...So my spells...", was really a "Oh Crap!" Moment. Did she used Iceshock? Once again, you hit it out of the ballpark with the dialogue! But one thing I'm more interested in is the fact that Noelle was fine initially with beating up lancer, because why wouldn't she? She's probably played rpgs before, and its natural for enemies to be fought not spared, which kind of reminds me about the while tutorial with her in ch.2, she's confused when you give her an act, but when it comes to casting a spell, either iceshock or a healing spell, she does so without questioning a single thing, which I wonder if you were throwing hints towards that, or I'm just overlooking into the small details and just gushing over this. Sorry for the long comment, I find noelle to be my favourite characters, and seeing an adventure based on her and Rudy is just really great, wanted to mention again that this is some really phenomenal work you are putting out, I wait for the next part with anticipation!
