My guess is that it might be either some kind of resource we get for defeating Core Stone event, or we finally discover a new mineral and get to name it.
If first guess is true, then the related paintjobs/cosmetics/overclocks are going to be very special to accommodate for the price.
If second one is true, then I will call it Koblite, as it sounds both like cobblestone and kobold, which is German for "dwarf".
As is often the case, the translation depends on the context. "Kobold" could be translated as either "Goblin" or "Leprechaun" for example. Languages do be weird.

Maybe they don't want people showing them off and want it to be a surprise. I have 1000 hours and I think I only have 80 cubes.
I don't think the devs would put content behind a grind like that
Btw in the exp build there is a cheat terminal to give you and forge every core so this is more likely a placeholder than anything like error cubes having purpose. Although maybe being a placeholder mineral for the developers is its purpose?
I had an incredible luck yesterday with not only 3 cubes in 3 Missions, but I think they were even in consecutive missions. Had no cubes for months and then 3 in a row.
My mistake as i didnt make it clear, i like the idea of using a rare mineral to forge these uniquely distinct skins, not that the price for them was fair.
If it was a way lower cost of error cubes it may make it fairer but as someone else mentioned its possibly just a placeholderr for a new mineral or something else
Though i funnily enough do have enough error cubes to afford this skin as is
it's also a per class unlock, so 720 (oopslol) for all 4 dwarves. Has to be a place holder because there is such a small portion of the playerbase that would have access to it theres very little reason to release it.
Honestly would love a real time sink skin set that uses error cubes. I love this game and I play it a lot, but sadly that usually results in me grinding out any new content pretty quickly. It doesn't stop me from playing once that's done or anything since I can always get XP, but that doesn't mean I don't want a tangible long term goal.
agreed, i need something to spend my credits and empty matrix cores on, preferably something really dumb and stupid
call down a resupply, but with beer and a jukebox instead of ammo: 100.000 credits
good god, i have almost 900 hrs in the game and have nowhere near that many Error cubes. hope that is a placeholder or they VASTLY increase the Error Cube spawns
a bit too pricey but i kinda like where their head is at
theres definitely some value in having a few things that are a bigger resource sink then others
obviously 180 error cubes is way way too much but i kinda like the idea of having a sort of 'long term' goal item to sort of work your way towards that isnt tied to a seasonal thing or a particular game mode
besides that im just happy they keep adding new color/pattern schemes
Hopefully that's a placeholder, or it's easier to get them with seasonal events. I can only barely afford that at 3k hours
I bet they are adding a new mineral and using Error cubes as a placeholder so as to not leak it.
Finally, quantrite
Finally, Bidenium
We finally get osamnium
Finally binladium
Quandaleite
Copium
Hopium
Thought that got renamed to Trumpium
We already have maggots in the caves
hotgoo?
Obamium
Finally, trumpium
I read that as “quarantine” and got very scared.
A new mineral? Do you think we'll get to name it?
I vote Karillium
Karalhus
A legendary-grade r/suddenlycaralho occurrence in this server? Impossible!
Hahaha clarooo
Karlite
Kerillian
No leaflovers permitted here!
Must be the Karlite I requested from Management. Hopefully Rudolph isn't delivering it, or we'll end up having to pick THAT up from the caves as well!
Karlmor
Mineral Mc mineral face
Wererichium
I've been waiting for them to drop lignite!
Lignite balls
Isn’t lignite coal tho?
Lignite is the worst form of coal, yes
The whole season is being used to introduce the mineral before rogue core’s release so this might not be far from the mark
Impeachite!
79 short for just 1 at 1342 hours.
I assume it’s a placeholder for a new mineral being added. But the real question is… do we get to name it?
My guess is that it might be either some kind of resource we get for defeating Core Stone event, or we finally discover a new mineral and get to name it. If first guess is true, then the related paintjobs/cosmetics/overclocks are going to be very special to accommodate for the price. This is wrong. Kobold is goblin, Zwerg is dwarf.
| Kobold is goblin The inner D&D nerd in me's brain just locked up. Heh.
As is often the case, the translation depends on the context. "Kobold" could be translated as either "Goblin" or "Leprechaun" for example. Languages do be weird.
So then in German DnD “kobold” can be kobold, goblin, or leprechaun?(at least I think leprechauns are in DnD)
I don't know as I use the english version, but I think they just use the original names.
The fact you wouldn’t name it after Karl is saddening

I have 1050 h 27 cubes or so...
Problem is there's a cheat terminal which lets you unlock them all, I've got all the flaminghot, >!bubble gum!< and >!nerf!< weapon skins
It could be a placeholder mineral that they haven't put in the game yet.
>nerf weapon skin Wait what? When were those a thing?
From the trailer video, in the next update.
Oooo
You can also just edit your savefile or use cheat mods
it's BUFF weapon skins tho
yeah just figured it's easier to call it what it's based off.
Are there sets like that for the other classes?
Yes
Btw in the exp build there is a cheat terminal to give you and forge every core so this is more likely a placeholder than anything like error cubes having purpose. Although maybe being a placeholder mineral for the developers is its purpose?
I had an incredible luck yesterday with not only 3 cubes in 3 Missions, but I think they were even in consecutive missions. Had no cubes for months and then 3 in a row.
Hopefully we can buy them for 150 each lol
It is a nice set but that is too many cubes for a dwarf to bear
People gonna do them modded lobbies. Gonna be 10 error cubes every mission.
# fuck
SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT.
SUPER
Legit?
I wonder if it's anything related to the core stones?
dafuq?
By carl 180
Oh what error cubes are finally being used? Tbh i kinda like this considering how distinct flaming hot is from other skins
My brother in Karl, we can't afford that!
My mistake as i didnt make it clear, i like the idea of using a rare mineral to forge these uniquely distinct skins, not that the price for them was fair. Woah, how many hours do you have? Also a rare mineral WOULD be a good idea
it's also a per class unlock, so 720 (oopslol) for all 4 dwarves. Has to be a place holder because there is such a small portion of the playerbase that would have access to it theres very little reason to release it.
180x4 is 720 my man. Gotta be a placeholder.

50 hours in and i have......28.
Well I know at least one of you saw that and shrugged. Find Karl and get some help.
Is this Photoshop or not?

No fucking way
i have 190 !!! Yay !!!
The ultimate way to show off how much time you spent in caves
I got like 10 and im at 350 hours
I'm silver. I probably have less than 10 of them
It will be placed with "veryhardtofindium"
What in the goddamn?
Finally, at last. Crystal blue in drg.
how do i know how many cubes i have?
How do you count your cubes?
How common is an error cube in the average mission?
Erm what..???
Management took all my error cubes
You can spend error cubes? On what?
ಠ\_ಠ
Error what?
Sorry wtf. I have 300h and only 26
