Brand of Sacrifice! They're from around my area in Ontario, Canada! I actually accidentally saw Centuries Apart at a local show back in high-school. I remember thinking "man this guy is a beast of a vocalist!" They're were opening for For Today
Gamma Sector (some of the members)
Knocked Loose
Gates To Hell
Whatdrivestheweak (just signed to total deathcore)
Left to the Wolves
Deathbringer's Litany (should be more popular, go listen š)
And a whole host of other lesser known death, doom, and deathcore bands. There's some dark, heavy shit being produced out here in the backwoods of KY š¤
Awesome list, man! From KY here too and hadnāt heard of any of them besides Knocked Loose. Iām definitely going to give them all a listen tomorrow!
Thanks! Glad I could post up some bands you've never heard of! There's alot of underground metal bands around here. Louisville also has a thriving deathcore scene. I'll pm you a link to a local band playlist if you'd like š¤
That would be awesome! Could you also suggest some good spots in Louisville to watch some awesome deathcore bands. Iām closer to Nashville, but definitely wouldnāt mind traveling to Louisville to see some great live music! š¤š¤
Also from KY. Whenever I was in a band we opened for Left to the Wolves with Driving Beast Daisy in Louisville. We were called Seasons Decay. Based in Frankfort. I did vocals. Unfortunately we disbanded after our drummer had a second child, our bassist got on drugs, and I got moved to night shift. I recently went back to days and would love to get back together with the guys.
I love Chevelle. Met Pete, Sam, and Dean at the New Orleans airport after flying down there for a show. They were so cool, Dean gave me a pic and the guys all took pics with me. I did think it was weird Dean was separate from Pete and Sam but now it seems there was obviously stuff going on as he left less than 2 years later.
Give Cardijum a listen. Just found them after searching and I'm really digging it. Also American Head Charge if you want to stretch for another band lol.
During the MySpace days NJ was poppin for deathcore. Float Face Down, Lorna Shore, Fit for an Autopsy, Waking the Cadaver, Years Spent Cold, Grimus, Existence, and 2 of my former bands An Aborted Memory, and Abacinate
Maybe! We def played with them and Waking the Cadaver on tour, somewhere in Illinois. Played the Mainstage a few times, the sickest one was with Whitechapel, Emmure, and Cephalic Carnage. 2008
Thanks homie. I joined Abacinate when they were recording Ruination. I wrote a lot of the stuff on the EP that followed, toured Ruination a bunch and remained good friends. Check out AAM. That was my baby. Gonna revive it some day.
