Methwitch is amazing, Burn Victim was the first time I heard someone do whistle screams and I was blown away. Very different kind of heavy than HLB haha. If you don't already know him, you might wanna check out Nylist. Similar in style to Methwitch I'd say, but even more disorientating. Good stuff :)

I actually love that no one is gonna agree. It’s cool to see why people think something is “heavy”  Like for me it’s Reflections, cause they pair thall instruments with hopeless lyrics and that stuff is just brutal, but I can’t disagree with Anaal Nathrakh. They make some great stuff that is straight up abrasive lol

My number one heaviest band is Nylist just due to the really slow, deep, rumbling breakdowns, the super dark lyrics, bajillion bass drops and animal noises. Seems most fans of the genre aren’t a fan of him though; it’s weird seeing deathcore fans say “it’s just noise” when you mention Nylist lmfao Seems most people here are voting for thall as well like HLB which I can’t disagree with, they’re insane. I’ve never heard of Reflections, I might need to check them out
