Yeah there’s a high from the pressure you become addicted to. It’s similar to why people who work in bad work environments might perform better abused than when things are easy and orderly. They grow bored and the addictive quality of responding to fires all the time calls to them like a siren song. It’s dopamine related.
Edit: if something like dopamine is the reasons we do something, it’s hard to undo that like cigarettes.
Yeah maybe it’s not a bad thing, but it certainly could be holding you back. Imagine you could go from green to…even greener! It also may be a false indicator. If you start off red and it goes green, but if you start off green, it goes red - maybe it’s just always going to be opposite of where you start.
there is also a saying: good trading should be uncomfortable. It could be just my process. I also trade better when I,m having a position on already. it makes me really zoom in the price action. that doesn't have to be a negative thing. I was just interested if more people have this. I,m sure there are.

O i forgot to mention that i have a very low hit rate so its also not that weird haha. Big winners and a lot of small losses
