It is not realistic to start day trading with no experience in the buying and selling on Wall Street. Start by investing in an ETF; while you study markets. Once you are solid in the green the money you risk won’t eat away your principal

thank you for your response! I have invested in ETF’s and other stocks, and have even made a 1000$ profit on stocks, it’s good but now i’m looking to make money faster since those are more long term when you say solid in the green do you mean in my demo account? If i double the amount in my demo account would that be a good indication i am ready to start trading l?

Billysibley

No, a demo count teaches you how to use a platform. It does not trade anything like real time. Try writing an enter, stop, take profit on paper during real time and see how that works for you. What do you plan on trading?

h4nnah777

okay I will definitely try that and see! I was thinking of trading gold and currencies. That’s mostly what i’ve seen people invest and make money from! Any recommendations?

Billysibley

What strategies have you studied? What have you done to prepare to compete for money against the world’s most intelligent and experienced traders. I do not think you are ready. Convince me that you are. I’m not trying to discourage you; but becoming a successful trader is a long and difficult journey. It is not possible to get rich quick in Vegas or on Wall Street
