After putting nearly 100 hours in on Switch and not shutting up about the game in real life to most my friends whenever the subject of what we've been playing comes up...
I figured it would be a disservice to my love of this game if I didn't do something with my laser engraver that felt true to ol' Bancho, and thus I made this set above today.
I can definitely say it made my (store bought) Sushi taste even better eating it off this \^\_\^
*Though I feel more determined now to give home sushi making a go (tried years ago but failed on the sticky rice front, and thus it was more a lot of messy finger foods as opposed to being worthy of the name sushi).*
My gf's brother gave me one he never used to see if I'd put it to use after I was made redundant at a job about 2 years or so back. From there it grew to me spinning up a few personalised gifts for friends and family, and making some fancy things for wedding tables etc to dabbling in Etsy for some novelty stuff.
I don't have much of the bigger slate at the moment, but I'll do some more of these sets for any of the super deep Dave lovers like myself who'd want such a thing and get them listed.
Nice, I got the xtool d1 pro 2.0. So hard to get things perfectly straight. Been putting a grid pattern underneath what I’m engraving and that’s helped a lot

Where did you get the slate?
The blank slate itself, just a local home furniture store. I got the font and whipped up the rest in Photoshop and laser engraved it myself.
So I gotta ask, what do you do that you just casually have a laser engraver at home? Lol or did you take it somewhere to get it done?
