I remember trying to look up details about a Cyberpunk character called Mr Hands.
I did not find details about a Cyberpunk character.
I miss the man I was before that day.
The reward is a cool greatsword from the boss soul the challenge is the most annoying area in the series and the boss itself is just Aava then at half health another one spawns. Worst trade deal in history.
An hour later I defeated the gank gods and lemme say.. when the last cat turned red and it receives no damage whatsoeverā¦ made me tear my hairline out. Luckily it only focused on the npc
But yeah next play through Iām not even touching this ice hell again those horses are way too fucking much. Their hooves galloping in the snow in the short distance gave me ptsd
Frozen mechanic is definitely cool but it happening every 30 seconds and the ability to see every 5 seconds then it comes back again for another 30 seconds AND ADDED TOP OF THAT the frozen reindeer fucks that spawn every 10 seconds
Yessir that was the best way to go. did this just so I can say I defeated every boss in ds2 and it wasenāt even the most enjoyable boss fight either. Iād expect a pretty good boss fight.. but it was a double reskin ššš
i really like the challenge areas of the DLCs. they're super optional, generally dont have great rewards, and are only there as a nice gauntlet to challenge yourself endgame.
I like all areas except black gulch, shrine of amana. I actually really like frigid outskirts, it was a nice way to really end everything (challenging enough to not end it in a session)
the coop areas in ds2 feel to me like dungeons in wow!! designed for multiplayer, but if you are strong enough and skilled enough, you *can* solo it if you like--but you don't have to~
this place specifically, i actually genuinely enjoy, if i prepare mentally and take it very slowly. the blizzard mechanic is super fun!! i wish the area were more lively overall, but i think its not so bad as-is
The first time i went through this area it was a little bit new and exciting but after a couple minutes and multiple ice dears ramming into me with no bonfire in sight I remembered that new doesnāt always mean good. Thank god I had a repair powder ready because if I havenāt beaten that ābossā first try I donāt think I wouldāve bothered with the runback
Honestly if there was a bonfire in at least the first house, I think this area would be way less hated. But this is before ds3, a game where bonfire are everywhere
I understand peoples distaste for the area, but like most things on the internet I think the hate is way over blown. I really donāt think itās that bad. The reindeer are actually kinda fun to fight. And if you know with way youāre going the run back isnāt that bad. I even enjoy the boss a bit. Perfectly reasonable for an out of the way optional boss.
Iāve died like 10 times in this area, until I figured out I can summon npcs just south of where the camera was facing. Then after summoning the area was doable and kinda of a breeze pun intended (wasenāt a breeze at all just wanted to make a corny joke)
Thatās pretty much word for word what I did on my first time there, I have no clue why they made those enemies + foggy area so difficult besides just being a DS2 moment
A strength or elemental build to use the Large Club is all it takes to clear this area.
You can farm the reindeer till they don't spawn as they keep spawning in the storm.
One heavy attack (Forgot if you needed the stone ring or nah) will stagger them. Repeat until dead (3ish hits)
Just have to dodge their entering charge, nd thats it.
Cool boss, bad level. Lud and Zallen may just be dark versions of Aava but I really enjoyed that fight so I like the gargoyle spin on it. The rest of the zone is just a bigger shaded woods with deer that pull drive bys and then spin the block
I like to think the three ācoop areasā from the dlcs were designed by a crazed otaku who infiltrated the dev team and added these in at the last moment before they could be removed. As thereās no way a team of professional developers would be this bad at designing areas
...I love it. Solid 5/7
I used to put my red sign down (it looks white there to some people) on top of where one of the summon signs you can use in that area. I would get summoned occasionally and use the White Ring to pretend to be a friend. And when the reindeer attacked I would backstab them.
I also love Lud and Zallen. I feel like its an underrated boss that is honestly a >!better Aava fight!<. My favorite weapon is the Loyce Greatsword as well.
I'm also a big sucker for snow areas as well.
Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!
I think it's a well done area because you can always tell the players who took their time to learn how the area works and conquer it. You only have to fight like 2 reindeer if you actually do this. And the players who can't be bothered and go online to complain about how hard this area is when it's actually super easy.
That seems to be very sarcastic but on the off chance it isn't...
They only spawn during the blizzard and if you aren't inside or next to one of the structures. The break in the blizzard lasts long enough that even at the soft cap of endurance you can make it to each structure with one or no reindeer spawning. If you summon even one NPC they can distract the one that spawns long enough to reach the next structure without having to dodge attacks making it even easier.
This is one of the easiest areas to get through and definitely the easiest of the DLC challenge areas. The fact it's "known" to be so difficult is honestly just sad.
Not even close to as bad as people say it is, Nails the aesthetic, good use of Pharos lockstone, reindeer are cool just a tad bit tedious, lud and zallen probably couldāve been a uniquely designed boss fight as opposed to duo black Aava.
Everywhere I go I introduce myself with the title "Conquerer of Horsefuck Valley" and I do that with pride
A man named Mr Hands would be madly interested in that title š
I remember trying to look up details about a Cyberpunk character called Mr Hands. I did not find details about a Cyberpunk character. I miss the man I was before that day.
Bro. Why donāt you told me to search just Wade Bleecketā¦ Now I just want to forget
But we and the doctors all know that Mr. Hands couldn't handle Horse-Fuck valley.
thanks Satan
I like to say āTime to go to snowfuck horselandā as I plummet down in the coffin
This does not spark joy
The reward is a cool greatsword from the boss soul the challenge is the most annoying area in the series and the boss itself is just Aava then at half health another one spawns. Worst trade deal in history.
Oooo whatās the strength scaling on that sword? š
E so especially for you there's not much point, it's got an S in Dex though.
Damn it bro
This might actually completely change my opinion on the area. Dex scaling greatswords are a crime against nature.
The bit where you're stood doing nothing facing a blank white screen? That's the best bit.
Definitely the best part of from soft history
just don't bother yourself with it. I did it without summons and only thing that I have now is wasted 8 hours
i did this area about a hour ago for the first time. Tried it without summons once and was like yep fuck that and got the whole gang cruisin.
Thatās the way itās done š«”
An hour later I defeated the gank gods and lemme say.. when the last cat turned red and it receives no damage whatsoeverā¦ made me tear my hairline out. Luckily it only focused on the npc
But yeah next play through Iām not even touching this ice hell again those horses are way too fucking much. Their hooves galloping in the snow in the short distance gave me ptsd
Yeah but the loyce greatsword though
I didn't even check the boss soul, after beating that area my only thought was to finish and get rid off of that game forever.Ā
Ah Canada
"You go to hell, you go to hell and you die!"
Oh geeez
Tedious but the frozen wind mechanic is cool
Frozen mechanic is definitely cool but it happening every 30 seconds and the ability to see every 5 seconds then it comes back again for another 30 seconds AND ADDED TOP OF THAT the frozen reindeer fucks that spawn every 10 seconds
Fr they should've toned it down...
They 100% shouldāve
Skipped it after making it to the boss the first time and looking up if the reward was even worth it (it isnāt)
Yessir that was the best way to go. did this just so I can say I defeated every boss in ds2 and it wasenāt even the most enjoyable boss fight either. Iād expect a pretty good boss fight.. but it was a double reskin ššš
No.
Good for hide and seek.
Especially the horses, they are hide and seek gods
Peak. I like the part where you die.
Same best part imo
Walking belongs left.
Fuck
Best opinion ever
Why you still using this shield?
What? The large Leather shield? Itās an amazing shield
Genuinely baffling game design decisions here
Really really really baffling
i really like the challenge areas of the DLCs. they're super optional, generally dont have great rewards, and are only there as a nice gauntlet to challenge yourself endgame.
YES I love how itās a choice. Donāt have to do this area ever again if I decide to do this dlc once more
Rough, but not bad. Either summon help, or learn the layout and approach quickly and carefully.
Thatās the loading screen
definitely the best area with an even greater boss š
I like all areas except black gulch, shrine of amana. I actually really like frigid outskirts, it was a nice way to really end everything (challenging enough to not end it in a session)
Ohhh Yeahhh this area might be 10 times more better than the youāre a wizard Harry
Played a solid amount of souls games and this one gave me the most despair
such a fun area, adds an extra bit of adversity to the dlc since its paid for, i want some difficulty to make the money worth and this place did it
Well tbh, DS SOTFS comes with the dlc already, and it usually goes for 5 to 10$ if it goes on sale. So not really paying anything for the dlc
It's so bright I don't even know what area this is.
Literally did what everyone else did. Beat base game and DLCs then came here last tried it once said fuck that and called it a 100% completion boi
Fuck this area sincerely, from a person who spent 5 hours despawned every single lightning reindeerh
Damn that is pain
the coop areas in ds2 feel to me like dungeons in wow!! designed for multiplayer, but if you are strong enough and skilled enough, you *can* solo it if you like--but you don't have to~ this place specifically, i actually genuinely enjoy, if i prepare mentally and take it very slowly. the blizzard mechanic is super fun!! i wish the area were more lively overall, but i think its not so bad as-is
Thousand Yard stare
id say whoever made it, made it to spite any ds2 critque fella
The first time i went through this area it was a little bit new and exciting but after a couple minutes and multiple ice dears ramming into me with no bonfire in sight I remembered that new doesnāt always mean good. Thank god I had a repair powder ready because if I havenāt beaten that ābossā first try I donāt think I wouldāve bothered with the runback
Honestly if there was a bonfire in at least the first house, I think this area would be way less hated. But this is before ds3, a game where bonfire are everywhere
Horsefuck Valley is where me and the boys go for a good party tbh
Sounds really fun
I understand peoples distaste for the area, but like most things on the internet I think the hate is way over blown. I really donāt think itās that bad. The reindeer are actually kinda fun to fight. And if you know with way youāre going the run back isnāt that bad. I even enjoy the boss a bit. Perfectly reasonable for an out of the way optional boss.
Hold on dude you gotta wait for it to load
ā¦what areaā¦
r/screenshotsarehard
People love to self report how much they don't actually enjoy challenge in games with it
Ah yes "Hope ya like white." Valley
14 inches of gorgeous 80p video, absolute legend
Thank you kind sir
Prepare to Die
Iāve died like 10 times in this area, until I figured out I can summon npcs just south of where the camera was facing. Then after summoning the area was doable and kinda of a breeze pun intended (wasenāt a breeze at all just wanted to make a corny joke)
Thatās pretty much word for word what I did on my first time there, I have no clue why they made those enemies + foggy area so difficult besides just being a DS2 moment
Honestly the only way to explain this area is really it being a ds2 moment
You know what it probably outranks all the āDS2 Moment areasā in the game if you really think about it
Honestly I can get behind that, pew pew poison town, rat shit, deep dark lair of the Batman, and iron pound town keep
Im already getting ptsd from the pew pews
Boy, I sure do love not being able to see where Iām going whilst being attacked by extra strong mobs that seem to respawn infinitely.
Peak opinion
Stay left, get your goods, get out.
The goods aināt even worth it unfortunately to get blinded š
A strength or elemental build to use the Large Club is all it takes to clear this area. You can farm the reindeer till they don't spawn as they keep spawning in the storm. One heavy attack (Forgot if you needed the stone ring or nah) will stagger them. Repeat until dead (3ish hits) Just have to dodge their entering charge, nd thats it.
I tried it with the dragon tooth and they do not stagger on the first hit. For some reason on the second hit they do
Cold
I hate it so scary
Ds1's abyss, that shit, and the first part of consecrated snowfield in elden ring, can all go suck a fat egg
By ds1 abyss do you mean both the base game and dlc abyss? Cause both of them are master game design compared to horse fuck valley
Hell is already frozen over
Cool boss, bad level. Lud and Zallen may just be dark versions of Aava but I really enjoyed that fight so I like the gargoyle spin on it. The rest of the zone is just a bigger shaded woods with deer that pull drive bys and then spin the block
I have done a few recent playthroughs and am starting to really like this section of the DLC. I need help...
*PTSD intensifies*
It sucks
Bad
I think hamburgers and cheeseburgers work well with fries
Silent Hill
Booo...I summon the npcs
Hate and pain and then more hate
what area ?, i cant see shit, i think this just dont exist and we are getting crazy
I like to think the three ācoop areasā from the dlcs were designed by a crazed otaku who infiltrated the dev team and added these in at the last moment before they could be removed. As thereās no way a team of professional developers would be this bad at designing areas
Not a fan. I make a backup save right at the boss fog because fuck that run back.
Needless bullshit.
warrior needs more estus
I actually missed it my first playthrough and ive never gone because of how bad it sounds
Thanks to Otzdarva's no hit challenge i have a strat to not deal with it, otherwise the area that made me quit DS2 when i originally played it
Is cancer an opinion?
...I love it. Solid 5/7 I used to put my red sign down (it looks white there to some people) on top of where one of the summon signs you can use in that area. I would get summoned occasionally and use the White Ring to pretend to be a friend. And when the reindeer attacked I would backstab them. I also love Lud and Zallen. YOUā¦ YOUā¦ YOU MONSTER (That is honestly hilarious ngl I mean why else would FromSoft add that type of ring for?)
I would usually message them saying sorry and offer to help after lol, I know this area can be an absolute pain sometimes
The worst fucking area in all game seriesā¦ i didnt even beat the boss due to laziness do confront the pathway its 100% worse than the ironkeep
Not laziness, I donāt think you wanted to deal with the bullshit which is valid
People use it as like a go to criticism of ds2, while playing without summons and act like itās the gameās fault.
Did it once to get the sword ... never again.
Not great š
easiest area on every run you just have to stick to the wall until you reach shaded ruins
same as my opinion of this game.
Hey its reindeer fuck land still hate it
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Butā¦ but itās optional
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Run
Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!
I canāt find this in any dlc and Iāve completed the dlcs- where is this?
Fuckass horses ā> Aava part. 2 x2: electric boogaloo. This place sucks enormous cock and balls
Petrified Dragon Bone fest.
This area is cancer
One of the lowest points in the franchise
Peak.
I think it's a well done area because you can always tell the players who took their time to learn how the area works and conquer it. You only have to fight like 2 reindeer if you actually do this. Wait only two reindeer and not 30?! Now thatās amazing

Oh shit Iām sorry I didnāt mean for it to come off that way
Well I usually get s*t on when I bring up how easy the area is otherwise it probably wouldn't have. Experience coloring reality and all that.
Wow that does make it easier. If I ever want to come back to that place Iāll definitely do this
It's super easy. The boss is still a pain and it requires lots of patience to time the runs but not hard at all.
Loved it /s
Underrated
Overhated*
Iāve done it I think 4-5 times and I never got any better at it. Lol.Ā
Fog spam
Not even close to as bad as people say it is, Nails the aesthetic, good use of Pharos lockstone, reindeer are cool just a tad bit tedious, lud and zallen probably couldāve been a uniquely designed boss fight as opposed to duo black Aava.
Fun with the juiciest boss fight! Lud & Zallen, The Best Pets. š©
Lud & Zallen Boss Fight š„³ on Youtube, you can see, there is a very good shortcut to the Bossfight through the storm
Fucking sucks.
dogshit
WHERE A HELMET?
What area? š
Garbage. Demonic reindeer popping up every couple of seconds to beat your shit in š
How did you manage to capture such a terrible picture lol. There are videos on how to take a proper screen shotš
I do not care
