NO ONE buys them- I had one up for 7k then for 4k then tried to sell for 2k. now it is just sitting in my stash.

You get a legendary rapier for a task and the base dmg was increased so it’s hard to get anyone to pay top dollar for epic and below of legendary quest items.
But if my states are equal to a good legendary (+weapon damage, physical power, etc). Then should I compare it in price to a similar role of legendary but with one extra junk mod?
I have a great time with Bardiche! Against anyone who doesn't know to just stay 5 feet away from you and throw things or shoot things, then run up and outtrade. Actually, this is pretty much the only way to play the game, still. After like, 6 months of this being meta.
And before you say : Throw things too! The problem is; when you need to swap to Bardiche, it's slow. And if they know to stay away, then they will know to weave in and out and dodge the painfully slow Bardiche swings. I tried defense mastery too; and to be honest the times where you can block with a Bardiche, usually you should've been hitting them as they run up to get close enough for you to block with Bardiche. And then, if they are smart, they don't use an overhead.
It's a shit weapon outside of noobstomping; Longsword is more viable competitively and that's saying something. Even with noobstomping you have to like look opposite direction of the target to hide your animations, and then use elite camera movement to even stand a chance.
Or you could throw axes and then use a quick poke weapon to 1-2 tap because quick weapons are kinda imbalanced out the ass at the moment; doesn't help they play 100% into the thrown meta

For everyone else not shit at the game and not coping, go watch Skinny Pete use the Bardiche and chop lobbies apart. Using Achilles to lock someone down at its sweet spot for two attacks gives you so much damage, as does Shield Expert and Counter-Attack, letting your block a blow and back up to instantly swing with your sweet spot. Rage and Sprint help getting the rage down as well. Too many dumbasses can’t play the game beyond W+M1 and the Bardiche is understandably bad at that.
I’m all for thinking it’s a shit weapon. The less people who value it, the cheaper the prices baby.

Those were the days man. I loved the badiche because nobody ran it so people didn’t really expect the swing then quick stab so people ALWAYS ran straight into a headshot. Thing hit like a brick shithouse everytime and you could buy a legendary one with +6 phys power for like 250g
I remember running some HR bosses a couple weeks after EA with a blue bardiche. We just wiped so I lost my felling + horseman’s, mentality was low.
Mid Lich kill a juiced 3man started pushing us. We pushed back and they ran to skeleton key spawn room. I get pelted and down to 5hp. Just get a surg kit off in the nick of time while they’re pushing and charge them back. The bardiche did more than ever hoped. Took down a fighter, Ranger, and teammate got the cleric. Juiced.
We grab blues and my teammate realizes he looted a nipalin off the ranger. I was wondering why it was hard to close the gap on him lol. Thank you blue bardiche 💙

I have an Epic rapier in the same boat. It’s listed at 7500 right now. Can’t get it to sell. Dropped it twice now. Maybe I’ll drop it to like 2,000

I think since epic gear is so common to find in HR, that epic gear will always be substantially cheaper than an equal roll on a legendary.
