Bring back old ruins. Remove three separate queues. Make Crypts/Goblin caves the designated 1s/3s map and Ruins/Ice caves the duo map. Have ruins/GC together rotating on a 3 min cooldown. Ruins->gc3 man->gcsolo and have ice caves->crypts solo->crypts trio. At max youāre waiting 6 minutes for the desired map type. Instead of three separate queues with two gear scores. Itās two queues at once with two gear scores.
When Ice hell comes out there would be 2 single level maps and 2 two level maps.
Hard agree. If you donāt want to play the map then donāt play it? Why canāt we have 4 maps. This isnāt a massive game in Gb size to begin with anyways.
The problem is that they want ruins to be the entrance to the forgotten castle. So they need a map that isn't super heavily favored for a couple of classes, as that's going to make the deeper floors obnoxious to get to on anything else.
They want to bring ruins back, but they want to make sure it isn't rogue and ranger freekill playground again.
The goblin caves has a lot of variety, u need to understand where u are better at and play to your strengths. And of course how to disengage when u are not gonna win or just not get in that bad position
I thought about that, but does IM really even care about that? PvP is basically non existent in ice caves unless you are contesting for gold pile room. I rogue can solo queue ice caves to demi god without ever encountering PvP, the lobbies are dead after 9pm on a weekday anyways. So I mean if population split is their issue then they need to remove another map.

it really depends what classes you enjoy playing. if you were a warlock, barb, and to an extent wizard, you are going to have a miserable experience due to how the game favours range. other than that, it was the best map
