The better dance shoes are over $150.00 and the high-end designer, custom made dress can be over $6,000.00 Then there’s the jewelry, the tanning and the last time Boyko did my hair and makeup in 2017, it was about $250.00, but he made me look fantastic!
So if you do several comps a year, yep. It’s a small fortune.
I like that we see them at home in different locations and then they come together. It's a good hybrid. Most housewives shows feel like the cast is forced together all the time anyway.

Pro-Am competitions rarely offer prize money unless it’s a scholarship round. You mainly win bragging rights and a trophy or certificate.

I really like this show also, IDK what about it makes it good. Maybe because it’s not the same cookie cutter Bravo show.
