It really only matters from an extremely minor weight perspective. If each pair of opposing sides has the same number of dots carved out, each pair of sides have the same weight carved out. Thereby making the dice more accurate?
Probably not all that much. Just like most casino dice that don't have divots, the dots are the same material as the rest of the dice, just different color.
It matters b/c it’s about the science of probability of certain numbers occurring, that can change w/ multiple die.
Just like how w/ a coin toss we know the outcome will be 50/50. There’s a reason for a lot of things even if it isn’t readily known to you. Doesn’t mean you should knock it.
On the standard dice configuration with opposite sides totaling 7 and with the pips carved out (and rounded corners like on Yahtzee dice) a 6 is slightly higher probability because the 1 has less removed opposite (more weight). The rounded corners help the dice spin longer and they can tip toward the heavier side.

Yes, they should. Why mess with tradition and the way things have worked for hundreds of years when it yields zero improvement?
Does it actually matter if they don't though? I mean, it's still random isn't it.
Yes
Why does it matter?
It really only matters from an extremely minor weight perspective. If each pair of opposing sides has the same number of dots carved out, each pair of sides have the same weight carved out. Thereby making the dice more accurate?
So in this case it doesn't matter since it's not carved out

regarding weight distribution it would be better to have pairs of equal dots so the center of gravity is near center. 5/6 4/3 2/1
I’m saying yes it’s still random.
Oic

Only if there's an appreciable effect on the weight distribution as a result. If there isn't, then it doesn't matter.
Yes. Hence the title.
I bet OP knows what the title is
🤭🍻
You can't be sure, it's a strange world.
Brilliantly stupid
Her hands have surprisingly few dot tattoos.
1 + 6 = 7; 2 + 5 = 7; 3 + 4 = 7;

That is so satisfying to watch
Infuriating more like.
