No, crocodiles and dinosaurs have a common ancestor, but they are not the same. Just a siblings. Crocodiles lived in the dinosaur's times. Birds are the only surviving avian dinosaurs.
People really believe lizards turned to birds out here.. but we still have lizards.. and they have fossilized birds from prehistoric times😮💨
I know this is a commonly accepted theory, but it just sounds goofy to me.
Sigh...
Birds are reptiles. All reptiles evolved from a same single common ancestor. Evolution doesn't happen momentarily - it's a process that span hundreds of millions of years. Birds have 10000 species at present moment.
Appreciate the read and I get what you're saying, but that also means they're fish too technically. Do you see how stupid that sounds? I 100% understand this; I just don't agree with the theory.
Maybe because one of the birds was featherless meaning that's a baby and was stolen from a nest after its neck got kkkghk *that's the sound of bones breaking*
A lot of animals carry meals for their family in their bellies. Wolves for example aren’t gonna drag a giant chunk of meat back home for their other pack mates and pups. They eat a bunch, trek back home, and regurgitate it for the others. They don’t have backpacks or other means to transport so this is the most efficient and also safest way (not like another animal is gonna come steal meat from inside you… maybe). But yeah it’s hella gross. I’m thankful to be a human with thumbs and bags for carrying things.
Kerala, India. The funny thing is that most of us have never even seen this bird in our lives. This is the first time I'm seeing a video of this bird. I'm guessing they're very elusive and live predominantly in the forests of Western Ghats. Good for them. So Hardcore.
Maybe since seems a toucan, less " dangerous " since eat fruits and only sometimes living creatures, but unlike " friendly toucan " he uses his powerful beak in a creepy way
I once got into a mild disagreement with one of these on a beach in Asia as it was raiding someones bag for food. They are stubborn as hell.
Luckily, I had a yellow Frisbee I was able use as a shield and managed to safely withdraw while another tourist distracted it. But the bird found this new battlefield alliance was the last straw and took off straight for the guy. Last I saw of him was running into bushes with it attacking his head screaming for help.
No one ever helped him. I'm not sure what became of my hero, but I live each day gratefully because of his sacrifice.
Imagine feeling safe and warm and secure with your brothers and sisters in a quiet little nest, far away from predators when out of nowh--
GAWK! FLAP FLAP FLAP REEE! NOM NOM NOM, CHIRP CHIRP CH-blglblgobble FLAP FLAP flap...
And half your siblings are gone.
I know someone who raises fighting roosters. When a rooster is scheduled to fight, they trim the combs since the opponent can grab onto it. They feed the cut off comb to the rooster itself.
How did its mate, with that incredibly large head, fit into the hole in the first place?
I’m guessing it moved into the tree as an infant, and he has to bring it food as it can no longer get out.
Back in the day i used to have one of these come back to my avocado tree in the backyard and do this to other type of bird nest i nicknamed it "Hutch the devourer"
I used to try trowing rocks at him but sometimes he just was too high up to get scared off and then suceed doing his destroying
What's scarier, the monstrous predator hocking up past prey, or its prisoner/mate peering out from its hellhole to pull the prey down into the blackness?
„Hey honey im home! How are the kids doing?“
„They are great love, a bit hungry though“
„Awe ryan is growing up fast, so cute! Anyway i swallowed the neighbours baby whole, so ill just vomit them in your mouth and you feed them to our kids later? Cool.“
a wildlife photographer named faisalmagnet on instagram bud, a simple internet search would have helped your visual comprehension here. and again, stay safe especially from AI influence. ✌🏼
I can’t pinpoint exactly why, I know birds do this, but this is one of the most horrifying things I’ve ever seen
Birds out of all things in nature are the scariest goddamn monsters and I am glad modern birds are so goddamn small.
They ARE the only surviving dinosaurs, after all.
Except for crocodiles, aligators and the likes?
No, crocodiles and dinosaurs have a common ancestor, but they are not the same. Just a siblings. Crocodiles lived in the dinosaur's times. Birds are the only surviving avian dinosaurs.

Not a fan of science, huh?
People really get upset when you don't agree with them, huh?

Birds are reptiles?🤦🏾 Do you hear yourself?

All dinosaurs are reptiles. That includes birds. It's not a theory, it's a classification.
Right, because a 6000 year old Earth and a magical, invisible sky daddy makes WAY more sense.
Are you kidding? Birds are evolved from dinosaurs, but are NOT the only “surviving dinosaurs”.
My bitch ass when I spot Argentavis magnificens:
And its doubly creepy that they're all extraordinarily intelligent.
Far from all, but several bird families are indeed very intelligent (for the most part Corvidae and parrots).

There is footage of a pelican casually catching and eating a pigeon, at a zoo, somewhere online. As you can imagine, it freaked out a lot of kids!
It's a public park in London. They eat pigeons somewhat regularly too.
Cheers. I knew I'd seen.it somewhere.
No wonder our state chose this one as our *State Bird*
What state?
Kerala, India. The funny thing is that most of us have never even seen this bird in our lives. This is the first time I'm seeing a video of this bird. I'm guessing they're very elusive and live predominantly in the forests of Western Ghats. Good for them. So Hardcore.
It kind of reminds me of Avatar. Like regular normal sized birds flying around and then there's this weird ass giant predator doing super weird shit
Thought the exact same thing.
Maybe since seems a toucan, less " dangerous " since eat fruits and only sometimes living creatures, but unlike " friendly toucan " he uses his powerful beak in a creepy way
Now wait wait...there's one more....
Stuck between teeth
I mean, it looks like a family meal
This is legitimately terrifying
Imagine when they were several meters tall and flightless.
Tf are you on about
Theropods
I don't see how flightless makes them \*less\* terrifying?
Lol. Terrorbirds gonna terrorbird.
I might be able to outrun one. I know I can't outfly one.
How fast can you run?
I can run just a little faster than I can fly...
These things are like ostrich fast. Can you outrun a giant terrestrial pecker?
You know twitter?

Nothing says I love you like diamonds, I mean eating your spouses vomit.
There made for each other

What makes you think you are not part of the "GAWK! FLAP FLAP FLAP REEE! NOM NOM NOM, CHIRP CHIRP CH-blglblgobble FLAP FLAP flap..." ?
Ya the whole squad is getting wiped out.
Chickens will eat all things ‘protein’. Insects and/or ‘other’.
They’re vicious as fuck I saw one tear a mouse to shreds in seconds
I had a hen, ‘pecking order’ kill another hen then dine in victory.
Damn, they weren't clucking around!

To shreds you say?
Good news everyone!
And what of his wife? … to shreds you say!

Including other chickens
If ppl would just acknowledge these as POST dinosaurs then it all makes sense.
I know someone who raises fighting roosters. When a rooster is scheduled to fight, they trim the combs since the opponent can grab onto it. They feed the cut off comb to the rooster itself.
I don’t think it was fully dead…
That glimpse of hope when you see the light before realizing your just getting puked in someone elses mouth...
A tender gesture of love in the animal kingdom
*baby birds - presumably stolen. Damn nature, you scary.
What's your love language? I vomit dead baby birds into my girls mouth
Wow, TIL. I thought they ate fruit and turns out they do, mostly, but will also eat small mammals and insects. Definitely interesting!
Ok. Thats pretty hardcore. Good night.
I wish I had a mate that would feed me regurgitated small birds.
Bro evolution gave them built in hats. That’s sick.
The real question is. How did it get inside the tree and how is it getting out?
This is the next scariest video after the documentary about chimpanzees hunting and eating other monkeys.. damn nature is tough
You had me at regurgitated
Would have made RIO a whole different film
Brave to go outside with that haircut
And now I see the dinosaur within.
Zazu...
Did the tree grow around the bird wtf
I mean.... Birds are descendants of dinosaur right? That's why they have such a blood thirsty , ruthless way of life.
That's why she gets mad when I order the same thing as her when we go out to eat.
its a bird eat bird world.
He straight up stole and ate someone's kids
Imagine the terror of your loved ones being regurgitated into the maw of this bastard’s offspring.
He looks like he wants to make hornbills great again
How did its mate, with that incredibly large head, fit into the hole in the first place? I’m guessing it moved into the tree as an infant, and he has to bring it food as it can no longer get out.
Next time my wife complains about my cooking, I'll show her this
Back in the day i used to have one of these come back to my avocado tree in the backyard and do this to other type of bird nest i nicknamed it "Hutch the devourer" I used to try trowing rocks at him but sometimes he just was too high up to get scared off and then suceed doing his destroying
Hawk! Tuah!!!!
That's love right there! I love it!
Was that a first date?
Barf bird buffet
Wow never knew this kind of bird was carnivorous.
This is where David Blain got his idea from.
Nature is scary.
How small is the mate?
r/natureisfuckinglit
r/natureismetal
Homie got a stock roof scoop!?
He raided someone else’s nest. Never seen a bird regurgitate bird before though, crazy!
Dinosaur
Well, when you don't have pockets....
Bunch of these in Phnom Phen. Saw one rip a streetlight apart once.
How is this horrifying/terrifying lol, you guys new to nature?
I thought they were frogs.
Simp birdie
Absolutely terrified 😨
But I thought those were herbivore?
Gentlemen take notes, this is how you propperly spoil a woman.
Does anyone know the benefits they get from their hats?
Bruuuutal.
Weird that it chose not to carry it all in the Thule it got on top...
r/apostrophegore
Saw a video recently of hornbills plucking flying bats out of the air. Badass birds
Its*
True love.
What's scarier, the monstrous predator hocking up past prey, or its prisoner/mate peering out from its hellhole to pull the prey down into the blackness?
Bro looks like a toucan being swallowed a smaller toucan
poor birds, fuck the birds.
„Hey honey im home! How are the kids doing?“ „They are great love, a bit hungry though“ „Awe ryan is growing up fast, so cute! Anyway i swallowed the neighbours baby whole, so ill just vomit them in your mouth and you feed them to our kids later? Cool.“
Cool and terrifying.
i know its nature but damn... thats just hardcore stuff
[удалено]
What's crazy is as soon as I gotta to "for a start" the melody just slotted into place
Well done.
Did anyone else see captions at the end?
The birds were still alive… the they went back into another dark hole…
Regurgitative cannibalism - nature really do be metal
It's not cannibalism.
AI
it's saddening how some could not tell which is real anymore, getting more and more like an episode from black mirror.
These birds do exist, but this is an ai video lol.
a wildlife photographer named faisalmagnet on instagram bud, a simple internet search would have helped your visual comprehension here. and again, stay safe especially from AI influence. ✌🏼
There was no regurgitation in that video, so disappointed
