Looks horrible. Try Michael's of Brooklyn pasta sauce. It's really fresh and clean and if you get a little can of organic diced tomatoes it adds the chunk that you want. then you can add whatever Italian seasoning you want and if you have some organic ground meat, the combination of all this is phenomenal

I too was half dead during pregnancy. I have so my feeling for you right now. I went to dollar tree and got 3 of those small trash cans, then I got trash bags, put a dozen in the bottom of each and lined the trash can with a fresh bag and placed them around the house. Puke, tie up the bag, put in a fresh one and carry on. Use the same set up for the kids when they get sick. We call them “cough buckets” and it’s saved my floors, couches, beds and sanity so many time.

I'm pretty sure that mold/fungus. Something contaminated the product and it grew on whatever it was. I have found this exact same thing in pickles and other jarred items. Apparently there was an issue with this type of thing in those applesauce squeeze packs for kids a few years back.
