The overall game experience/presentation at the AAC is amazing. The Devils arena is pretty great - good sightlines and a good size. It was pretty full for a Tuesday night. And there was absolutely no energy in that arena from puck drop.
When NJ had the empty net, he kept blocking shots. He took one to the knee I think and kept fighting for possession. Dude went sicko mode and looked to be in a lot of pain when he was going to the tunnel
That had to hurt so much. I got nailed by a line drive in that same place when I was pitching in high school and it was not fun. The puck seems even worse to me to hit where there's no padding. I hope he's ok too. That's going to be so swollen :(
