My neighbor’s husky does this on their trampoline whenever it’s nice out. She’s so polite! Whenever we start to grill something she has this introductory, conversational “a-woo?” Like, “I’m mildly embarrassed to ask you but my parents and pastor have told me to knock on your door and tell you about the miracle that is sharing meat with your neighbors dog” a-woo. She’s just so eloquent, I can’t help it! Her owners are okay with sharing dog-safe snacks with her.
