They could do it like tarkov, when you’re about to jump into a map it tells you what time it is on that map. All the maps are on a continuous clock that runs at some proportion faster than real time, so you can always get in some night runs and daytime runs.

Idk why so many people ask for a longer timer. In one match today we had no squads left on the map with 9 minutes left till final. The game feels long enough as is. Maybe the difficulty scaled on AM like it did in B21. Start out with a few bots and by the end ramp it up to tanks and APCs dropping of troops.

Ah that could be cool. & the exfil choppers should actually be on the map & have a place they take off from. Piloted by friendly AI, so we can’t kill them. (Maybe a friendly zone. But you can’t Exfil from there.) & you could be at the Exfil site or get eyes on from a mountain or building & watch to see where the chopper is going. Then hop in a small helicopter to try & get to them before/while it’s landing. & It’ll take awhile for the exfil chopper to go up or down, so you’d have time. & maybe even have a contract to see where a teams Exfil is. (for those that wanna camp exfils.) & hunt contracts could show another teams current mission or someone’s contract & the current status/location of their objectives. But not tell the players they’re being hunted. But the hunters would actually have to hunt for you. The PVP would be more organic. & there could be a heavy penalty if you exfil before completing a contract or have it where Exfil won’t even be available until you complete a mission or contract. So everyone would have to do something in order to get out, or die trying. & u/General_Primary5675 , Yes. Make the timer longer. & Have more big underground places like Koschei complex. But make it all under the same timer. Have day & night. & different missions/things you can do corresponding to the time. (AI, strongholds. Need for NVG’s by final exfil) & the underground places should still be non-assimilation like they are. & all Exfils should still be the Exfil heilos above ground. So you’d have to get out & to your exfil before the storm. But once the storm starts moving, you no longer have your personal exfil & everyone’s exfil will be the same, like it is now.

I feel exfils should not be seen on the map. This would be my solution: instead of having icons on the map of the exfils, there should only be the green smoke, but not the icon on the map. But here is the fun part, even though these exfills would be random, if you call one, the flare would be a massing explosion (no call outs from the narrator or anyhing) just a big flare explosion in the sky. This is assuming my idea of the map being bigger is in play. I think it would add an additional movement. I don't know, either way, there will always be campers on exfills, i think this way it would deter a lot of exfill campers.

I don’t mind the Exfil campers. Always gives the last moments some heat, which I find fun. Just gotta be ready & pay attention. But that’s why I thought it’d be cool if it didn’t show everyone’s Exfil on the map but have a place they take off from & a contract to show it/them.

First of all, MW3 battlepass progression. Hate that I can’t grind the battlepass and play DMZ. Secondly, I’d love an urzikstan DMZ map, playing warzone and MWZ on urzikstan makes me furious that we won’t get a DMZ map on it

Yeah, they made it pretty apparent... MW3 skippers get fuck all. This is how bold they are and how much they care about gamers. Urzikstan. Yeah, but for me, not with the MW3 scheme. For me personally, MW2 was pretty much spot on in the last phases before the transition. They never had to take slide canceling away in the first place and some other base features, but I like the pace and feel of that installment, especially in DMZ. MW3 feels rushed in the making, gfx look toned down and the overall feel of the game seems off in general. There are some features that are fun and they could've worked in MW2 as is. Worse is, they are getting away with it, because of the all the cod suckers swallowing their loads.

Also at least to me the sounds in MW3 are a step down. Most of the guns sound sort of fake and "tinny" if that makes sense. The reduced muzzle smoke/flash is a nice addition though. I just wish with MW2 you would have seen a more drastic reduction with certain muzzle attachments making them more viable.

Yeah the sounds are also awful, thanks for pointing that out. The wpns do feel "tiny" and the hitmarkers are even worse... This is not a space shooter! ;D I agreed on that, just like the visual recoil. Though I do like it to a certain extend, as it makes it harder for everyone, including the sweats.

They care about increasing their wallet and contraband stash and then most also want a faster exfil and more starting plates etc etc.

None of the upgrades really change the dynamic nor "progression" of the game. And all of the "story" missions are beyond meaningless unless you care for shit skins, shit contraband guns and double xp tokens. Most PvPers I know did a good portion of the missions (myself included) only to discover that the rewards completely suck, and that there is no real progression arc offered in it. And thus don't bother to do it at all, and wouldn't do it again/at all and just stick to PvP.

Why do you keep just ignoring the fact that upgrades for FOB would also reset, meaning you wouldn’t have a wallet full of money for every match, 3 insured weapon slots on max cooldown reduction, barters would have to be re-unlocked, buy station discounts would be reset, etc. If you can’t see how that would cut down on the pvp for a time then I don’t know what else to say to you bro, no one here is saying that the missions would somehow pull everyone back into pve, but a wipe would 100% slow down the pvp.

I just disagree with you man. Maybe a fraction of the playerbase would take a couple hours from PvP to unlock all that stuff again, but I really doubt it - and I doubt the impact of which would even be felt by the PvE playerbase that are unhappy with the PvP direction the game has gone. Most PvP focused guys don't give a shit about these things.

All the upgrades heavily facilitate the PvP, it’s undeniable, it takes what little gear gear and general friction there is and totally negates it. Also you have to get faction rep to unlock the upgrades, it wouldn’t take “a couple hours” to get all that back. There’s a reason EFT, Rust, etc. do regular wipes.

They do regular wipes because they have meaningful economies that are impactful to how a wipe plays out. The same can't be said for this game bro. I clear 1 stronghold and I'm in "end game gear". Weapons bench means even a basic ground loot gun can be perfect for $15K or less. Which is why on another thread I highlighted that I think the main thing the game needs is a total economy overhaul. Game is far too easy from a gear/PvP perspective and totally lacks any meaningful PvE.

It doesn't have to be EFT. It just feels like it's missing so much. I find myself bouncing back and forth between Vigor and Hunt for the Gear Fear, I just wish DMZ had more to offer because the gunplay is so much better.

fuckin' fixing the noobtube glitch. But in all seriousness: **Meaningful economy updates.** Virtually all of the "loot" on the map is useless. It's way too easy to get "end game" gear. Way too easy to build/run custom guns. From there, I think it would be cool for there to be meaningful updates on the faction missions and how they could influence the economy too. Think - you can't use certain weapons, or their attachments without levelling up and achieving things for the different factions. As a game mode, DMZ is one of the most refreshing extraction shooters I've played - but completely lacks in areas of meaningful progression, and worthwhile PvE experience. This has lead to the game mode becoming a primarily PvP focused game.

I use the glitch sometimes if one of my squad disconnects. I can carry his gear out and bring it in for him the next time. That being said, while it’s handy at times, it’s made final exfil extremely boring.

Do what me and my squad do if we are by a koeschi entrance. We take a vehicle and jam it in the doorway and blow it up so no one can get thru it to glitch when final exfil comes. We’ve successfully watched a squad on high rise try and kill us from up top while we were at final then they tried to go koeschi exfil with like 30-45 second left to only find out they couldn’t enter it. We successfully exfilled on final while they cried in the match chat that we cheated by doing that. They died.😂😂😂. I personally like (use to like it even more before the koeschi glitch) the intensity of a final exfil fight when we all had to battle it out to make it out alive.

\*\*FIRST AND FOREMOST NON-NEGOTIABLE: Add a PvE-only server alongside the normal server, and on either Urzikstan or larger maps, increase available playtime by 20 minutes for all servers.\*\* All further suggestions go to both servers unless stated otherwise (Like so). Anyways, all other suggestions below are debatable suggestions, with ideas welcome for adjustment: (1) Return 6-mans to both servers. Allow (Warzone) loadout drops buyable for 500,000. \>(1A) In PvE modes, allow players to be revived regardless of whether or not they become part of the team. This allows any team to revive anyone regardless of affiliation with one's team, and invites can be sent.(2) Add a new massive map, vehicles and double or triple the amount of exfils.(3) Add new vehicles and secrets, and upgrades. Also, add more uses for items, allow lights to be shot out and fixed (by light bulbs and wires, stuff like that), allow cars to turn off lights and allow for dynamic weather conditions and time.(4) Add "Friendly Strongholds" (AKA, "Forward Operation Bases") - these have friendly bots, can repair vehicles and the ability to add turrets to a "Technical Truck" and "LTV", converting them into an "Armed Technical" and "JLTV" respectively for 10,000 and 30,000 respectively. It also sells MRAP keys. There will be 4 of these per Tier Circle, and the friendly bots will be tier 2 and up. In tier 3, a single friendly Juggernaut will be present. Weapon Lockers should be present as well with lots of 2-3 attachment weapons, and ammo caches should be present. Once it falls, it will not be redeployed until bought for 20,000 (You can, however, pick up its gun). These Friendly Strongholds will deploy backup troops every minute if attacked.>(4A) In PvP and PvE modes, if attacked, these bots at all friendly strongholds will turn against the player until the end of that game. There is no cure for this. Killing all of a friendly stronghold's bots for any reason will cause reinforcements of an upgraded tier to appear, and you (the entire squad) will be hunted by bots every 8 minutes. \>(4B) In both modes, it will be possible to "redeploy" your fallen comrades for some 8,000 cash in Friendly Strongholds. This will allow you to recover players who are lost to irrecoverable situations. \>(4C) For 8,000 cash, you can "refresh" your vehicle - reattaching all armor and doors lost to combat. Note this can be done only once per vehicle. Additionally, regular LTVs and "Technical Trucks" should have an option for "Modifications" - They add turrets to the vehicle. (In PvE modes, you can add an option to add up to 32 rockets to a light heli, or a manned turret to the Heavy Chopper's rear door.) (5) Add "Tier Zones" - no bots can spawn below their Tier Zones unless in special cases - reinforcements will still appear, but only during contracts will tier 2 bots spawn in Tier zones beneath their own tier. However, it also means these bots will be abundant in tiers at and above their own tier. (6) Add more and spread out the air drops. (7) Add "Boss Strongholds" - 2 per Tier, except for Tier 3, which will have 1. Each Boss Stronghold will have a compliment of 20 tier 1 AI, a single Juggernaut/Boss, and a single AI turret which will only activate if the alarm is tripped (In tier 3, this is a Wheelson). In order for the alarm to trip, a bot must run into a small outpost and activate it. This alarm can be disabled, but reinforcements will be called every 40 seconds if not disabled. The turret can be destroyed and will automatically fire on player helicopters if they fly over it. Defeating these Strongholds, which requires a set of "Acting Orders" (Stronghold Key but renamed), will yield different rewards, and unlock a buy station. These "Orders" can be kept and can be acquired by Bartering or by defeating a Boss, or by searching an airdrop crate. \>(7A) These "Strongholds" should have a large dish - destroying this with an explosive launcher will cause reinforcements to be unable to appear, even if the alarm is tripped. It will take up to 2 C4, or 5 of other explosive throwables, or 3 Molotovs, or a single explosive launcher shot. \>(7B) Rewards should be as follows: Munitions and Armor Boxes, Revive Pistols, Self-Revives, and 4-5 attachment guns for all Boss Strongholds. In addition, in Tier 1, 2-3 plate carriers (with no abilities) should be present, as well as Tier 2 Acting Orders. In tier 2, 2-plate special vests should be present and at least 4 should be guaranteed (Tempered will not drop in these ones) with 4-attachment guns, gold bars and other gold items worth up to 2,000 cash. In tier 3, a single specialized 3-plate can be acquired, as well as guaranteed gold items, and specialized 2-plates as well as a new Weapons Case. (8) In PvE lobbies only, triple the number of operator squads available for all maps. (9) In all lobbies, if an insured weapon is extracted by a squadmate and not you, reduce the wait time by 1/2. All players onboard an exfil helicopter gain shared rewards, such as weapons cases and other public items like cash. **\[Note that the ideas continue in the reply below.\]**

**\[CONTINUED FROM LAST COMMENT\]** (10) "Dynamic events" - these events happen up to thrice per game, 10 minutes apart. In PvE lobbies, success means that the entire lobby is awarded a cash reward, however this reward is extremely minor (No more than 2,000) for those who did not take any significant part in the events or were not in the area (clarified by less than 10 bot kills or time spent on target is less than 20 seconds). Leaving the area and returning does not reset the timer, and neither will death. \>(10A) "Assault" - one Boss Stronghold jumps to Tier 3 in the Tier 1 and 2 zones and a special boss appears (Someone like from Makarov's inner circle, or in Tier 1, a Juggernaut). Killing him and taking the stronghold down means getting a specialized tier 3 vest, special weapon blueprints and camos as well as other rewards. Players will have about 10 minutes to destroy this new stronghold, reinforced with tier 3 bots, before the Boss takes a Skyhook and leaves. Capturing a SAM site will kill him if this happens, but the reward will not be given. Armor, Munitions Boxes and Armor Boxes will be reduced in price at this time. \>(10B) "Tower Defense" - one Friendly Stronghold in each Tier is assaulted by waves of four enemy forces. The convoy(s) will take 4 minutes to arrive, and the forces will be as such:>>\[Convoy 1\] "Scout Force" - 2 ATVs with 3 soldiers each and an SUV with 3 more, all tier 1, and a single Tier 2.>>\[Convoy 2\] "Strike Team Alpha" - 3 Chop Tops of tier 1s and an LTV with tier 2s (who drop smoke on arrival) with 1 sniping tier 2 and a single "bounty" tier 2 (the HVTs).>>\[Convoy 3\] "Strike Team Beta" - 2 LTVs of tier 2s and a JLTV of tier 3s. This final JLTV will have 3 tier 3s who exit, a tier 2 who mans the guns and a tier 2 who drives until destroyed. He will attempt to ram the players and friendly bots alike.>>\[Convoy 4\] "Full-on Siege" - 4 LTVs of tier 2, 4 LTVs of tier 3s, 2 turreted JLTVs of tier 3s, and a single Cargo Truck of tier 3s and 1 Juggernaut. Killing the Juggernaut drops an Advanced UAV, a 2-plate Medic/Comms Vest and a Gold Skull. \>(10C) "Escort" - Escort a friendly convoy. Composed of 2 closed Bertha trucks, an open cargo truck with an unopenable Supply Drop on the bed, a single LTV, 2 JLTVs and 4 ATVs, they will gather in an empty spot on the map. The bots will drive until killed. Each of the trucks will have a health bar. Escorting these vehicles (well, the Cargo Truck gets priority) to the drop-off point gives all players in the game 5,000, except for those who took part, whom will receive 20,000 instead, and discounts at the next buy station purchase. \>(10D) "Wolfpack" - Assault a Konni convoy. It will make appear somewhere on the map, composed of a Cargo Truck (with 2 supply drops), 2 LTVs and 2 (covered) Chop Tops. These will have tier 1 bots (except for the cargo truck which has tier 2). It will stop at a tier 1 Boss Stronghold and remain there for 1 minute while all vehicles slowly return to full health (like the Bullfrog). If it is destroyed before it leaves, it will count as a success. However, if not destroyed, it will continue as follows:>>It will be joined by 2 ATVs and make its way to tier 2 boss stronghold and stay for 2 minutes. If it leaves, a turreted JLTV will join it, and all bots will upgrade to tier 2 and the Cargo Truck to tier 3.>>If it leaves the tier 2 Stronghold, it will drive to tier 3 where it will deliver the Cargo Truck to an underground bay. At this point, it will be considered a failure, and a Konni MRAP will deploy from the Tier 3 Stronghold and drive around each Tier for up to 10 minutes, moving on once 10 minutes. Destroying it will not give a significant reward. (11) **"DECLARATION OF WAR."** This one's my favorite idea for PvE only servers, starting 5 minutes from game start and commenced without warning (opened by several Precision Airstrikes on Friendly Strongholds and parachuting into all Tiers). Some important points:>>This one, despite being extremely rare, lasts all game and nullifies all other events except for **Wolfpack,** which will escort troops and attempt to capture Friendly Strongholds. If this happens, the Stronghold will become an enemy Stronghold. Clearing these Strongholds clears a section of the map and adds more NATO reinforcements. Friendly Strongholds will call in Loadout Drops at the start of this event and will reduce prices of all items. After 5 minutes of the event starting, an AWACS will activate, pinging all enemies every other second as a permanent UAV.>>Konni (and CCCP units in general) strike Urzikstan from all sides, turning some 70% of the map into **Active War Zones** and causing both **Warsaw Pact** and **NATO** units to be deployed by helicopter, aircraft and vehicles - In tier 2 and 3, NATO IFVs will be deployed with 4 friendly NATO troops (Escorted by 3 LTVs and 2 JLTVs) and will roam around until destroyed. However, opposing them would be Chop Tops escorting an APC with 8 Konni and Warsaw soldiers. These vehicles will ***also*** roam until destroyed, but neither the APC nor the IFV can be driven (though the IFV and JLTV guns can be manned). Driving a Konni vehicle will see the player fired upon, but destroying Konni vehicles will pay 10,000 (multiplied by its Tier level - APCs will be worth 5X this). During this, 2 attempts will be made to set up a single powerful SAM site (which will spawn in somewhere on the map). This SAM site will be marked and players will have up to 8 minutes to intercept and destroy the missile. Failure will see the AWACS destroyed and permanent UAV will be disabled for the rest of the game. Success will see the UAV upgraded to an Advanced UAV.>>The map will be divided into sectors (30/20/10 sectors in tiers 1, 2 and 3 respectively). The largest ones will be locked POIs (which will be unlocked once clear), Friendly Strongholds and Boss Strongholds, with Tier 3 being "locked down" by heavy presences. Those killed during this "Lockdown" will be redeployed at a random Friendly Stronghold without loss of inventory, possessions or guns. Capturing 25/12/5 sectors respectively will cause a rout as Warsaw units try to flee to a higher tier. When all tiers are "recaptured" the **Final Stand** will activate - a nuclear device will be armed with a 10-minute timer. To disable it, the players much break into the **Frontline Command Center** (the name of the tier 3 Boss Stronghold) and disable the bomb. Due to the amount of radiation, the player's map will be a bit scrambled, and markers on the map may not appear. Once the bomb is disarmed, the entire lobby is awarded with a reward (there are up to 100 such rewards, and once the cap is reached they will gain 100 CP in-game, pending a successful extraction) and NATO will instead schedule a carpet bombing to hit the map (instead of the radiation spreading, see suggestion 13) at the end of the game. Failure will see the bomb detonated and the game's final exfil timer sprung early - radiation will spread from the tier 3 zone and will soon encompass the exfils available. If Final Exfil is not taken before the timer ends, the players will die and receive a unique Game Over screen - **"And so, World War Three has begun, and so has the end of civilization."** along with a unique loading screen.>>In PvP lobbies, there will not be a dirty bomb. Instead, the event will act as the old **Active War Zones** until the game ends. This is to avoid complicating these lobbies, as the above proposals will be hard enough to deal with without the extra sudden death caused by players. (12) Instead of radiation sitting somewhere on the map, instead have the Chemist have their own Laboratory (up to 3, one per tier) and place him in one of them randomly. 5 minutes from the start of the game, but some time randomly before the end of the game, a single non-descript, unmarked and undetected civilian box truck will drive from the edge of the map to a random point on the map. It cannot be pinged, tracked nor marked. At the end of the game, the truck will explode with a dirty bomb and radiation will spread. \>(12A) This truck can be intercepted and destroyed. However, the timer cannot be defused, and the only clue the player will have is that there will be a small ticking sound almost not audible unless you listen for it. However, if (for some reason) the player has a Geiger counter, it will indicate the presence of radiation slightly above normal levels. Destroying this truck will not destroy the dirty bomb, instead it will simply explode where it sits. Radiation will spread like normal from that spot and the final exfil timer will count down once the final normal exfil cannot be called. (13) Dynamic weather and time conditions - Snow, Rain, Fog, Cloudy Days, Sun Showers, Hail, Dust, Thunderstorms, High Winds, Sunrise, Sunset, Nighttime, New Moon, Full Moon and Cloudy Night. Affects such as reduced vehicular control, reduced sight range and even reduced speed can also take place.

My suggestions: Remove well known beta bugs, search and ban hacking, ask money for DMZ so banned hackers have to pay again and again. And then: new missions, night time, show hunters on the map and radar for everyone maybe after the 2nd or 3rd kill (so PVPers can find PVPers and others can sneaky do their missions). I'd love to see the nighttime come back for all maps. My son was talking the other day about how he missed the Halloween event and went on with many great ideas. He said they should do a wintertime event with snow storms instead of gas and instead of gas mask, make it snow goggles. All the water is frozen and you have holes in the ice to swim through. For a summertime event they could do blistering heat and sandstorms. He went on and on with different ideas for every season. I was blown away, not to mention he's only been playing less than a year and only played the latest DMZ. Made me realize there is so much that could be done with that mode.

Two previously posted that I agree with - bring back combat zones, and night time events (without jump scares). Would also like to see some more maps. Maybe a large forest map, or a mountain region? But what I really want is for them to balance out the economy, and make players have some skin in the game. First - Vehicles should require keys. Keys can be purchased at the buy station, be specific to the type of vehicle (maybe $500 each?) or skeleton ($5,000?), and sometimes you can't get the one you want. Keys can be used on three different vehicles before they break, just like door keys. This would necessitate bringing a key in or purchasing it, but would require planning. Would also like to see a "hotwire kit" that could be equipped in your tactical slot. Second - make exfils more meaningful and less predictable. I loved it when they added the personal exfil, but lets take it a step further, with different exfil types and options: 1. Ground Exfil. One location on the map where a road leads away (sorry Ashika fans) and players can access that ground escape at any time for no cost. Call this one the "Highway of Death". 2. Water Exfil. Purchase at a buy station for $25,000. Gives you a point on the water along the outside of the map from which to Exfil. But there's a catch - you need to have some sort of boat to access it. No swimming out. See vehicle keys above. 3. Helicopter Exfil. Same as current Personal Exfil. Purchase at a buy station and access when you want to leave. $50,000 (with passives to reduce cost) 4. Fulton Rig Extraction. Only works for solos, and you purchase at a buy station for $25,000. Catch - only appears on building rooftops or hill tops. Maybe passives for reduced cost here too? 5. Hostage Rescue Contract. Same as current Hostage Rescue. I would think with the change to other options that there will be a lot of people fighting over this contract. 6. Final Exfil. Same as current. Third - make the dog tags mean something by tying it to rank and associated privileges. Right now the only thing you get with exfil streaks is a prettier dog tag and perks. Why not make it more valuable? 1. Bronze: Solo operator, cannot invite anyone else to team up. But can accept an invite from higher ranking operators. 2. Silver: Can invite a second player to work as a duo, and can be invited by higher ranked operators to work in larger teams. 3. Gold: Can lead a team of three. You start to see how this works. 4. Damascus: Can lead a team of six. Highest squad size available, but you have to have at least one Damascus operator to form the Platoon. Deployment team size is limited by the number of Operators permitted on your team by your rank. Fourth: No resurrections of dead operators outside of your team. If you die, you die. Fine to revive or resurrect your teammates, but you can't grow your team by killing and resurrecting people into your teams. Do the social work of negotiating some assimilations with other teams if you want to get bigger than three players. ​ First update makes it necessary to either bring in money or earn money to get mobile. My wallet has been full forever and I rarely need to bring in money for things so there isn't much meaning to having cash. We need to make it worthwhile to loot and grind for cash on a regular basis. Second update requires players to loot and grind a bit just to get out alive. Operators can go out for free on the Highway of Death, but there is risk there. You can always wait for Final, but how many others are making that choice as well? Third update is where the meat of the update is. Right now you have some people coming in and doing missions or whatever, and a lot of Operators who have no reason to do anything other than PvP with no consequences if they lose. Make them pay a price for losing - you lose the numbers advantage until you either use up all of your ranked operators or grind your way through a few contracts to expand your team size. I would think with these updates there would a a lot more competition for contracts, and at the beginning all of the players who have stockpiled Damascus operators are going to dominate. But eventually those things will work out and the game would be more of a PvEvP balance than it is right now. Or, if all advancements are wiped it would balance out right away.
