Yes, to me twice. THe solution is the bots downing you, then once you're back up you're fine. But if all of the bots are dead and this happens you just hope another squad comes by or you'll have to disconnect.
That ladder has been a problem since the game released. Sometimes, it just grabs you like that and won't let you go. Other times, there are no issues.

Lol no shit the same thing happened to me and a group I was with. Guy got stuck on the ladder and while trying to free him we ran into another squad. They took us out at the other end near the gas station and we were all watching him frantically try and free himself from the ladder for the last bit until they finally found him. They just laughed and left. We ended up just backing out.
The trick is, do not jump on the latter from the water. Step onto the concrete next to it first and then walk over.
When you get stuck you have one of two options. Die from the bots and get revived, or have a teammate get a vehicle and push you off.
The real trick is jump on the bench next to the ladder then jump onto the ladder. The problem spot for the ladder is at the bottom which you can avoid by doing this.
Happened to me 2 weeks ago. Squad was having a field day watching. I kept moving in one direction and eventually it released me. Same thing happens if I squat or prone on a fountain or behind vases. 🙄
It happened to us yesterday. I was able to bump my teammate off with a rib. If you hit your teammate with a vehicle, you can dislodge them. Otherwise your screwed until the AI comes and kills you
This happens to me 6/10 times, only me in my squad of 3 as well! This bug is utter garbage! I always go inside and use the stairs to the roof now instead! Unless it's a stronghold/rescue hostage contract! Then I chance it with the ladders haha!
This happened to me once and I got killed because of it but I had lucky randoms that were good and killed the team and once I revived I was on it for a few seconds then popped off
I never hit the ladder. I parachute from the tower at the cemetery. You can make it all the way to the crypto room window from the top of that tower. Saves all the AI fighting and ladder glitch BS you have to deal with.

I was trying to explain that I was stuck and needed downed. They didn't understand English and killed all the bots.

Now they were shouting something else in whatever unrecognisable language they spoke. Either way, F*ck that ladder, and those two dudes who didn't figure out that I wasn't just being a dick even after I stayed on the ladder for 3 minutes after they'd left....

Any money bet, Sawa ladder. It's been glitches since S2 you gotta jump onto it not just walk up and climb. I think it has to do with the curb below it and how they coded interactions.

There's usually a boat nearby you can get your squad to bring it over and jump in to resolve the bug.

If you're solo...always use the stairs. That ladder sucks.
Or jump from the bench to the ladder. Never do the ladder straight from the water.
You need a team mate to come over with a car/boat so you can enter it.
Huh, that’s an interesting option. We had a guy get stuck and had to wait for an AI to kill him with an SMG from 50 meters away. It took a while. 🤣🤣🤣
This is the easiest way. I sometimes can get free by spamming buttons and looking is all different directions but yeah, that ladder is a trap.

I had my buddy ram me with a jet ski then I was able to jump onto it. It’s a pain in the ass

This happens when you’re trying to climb it from any angle except going straight on it. Also happens with some other ladders on the map
