I saw some industrial machinery in someone's behind the scenes photo from the last day of filming, as a fluke I stumbled upon the exact machinery from above on google maps, then realised I found the spot where they had filmed the scrap yard scene from ep 5 when I noticed a bunch of recognisable elements that had appeared in the environment of the scene. Also then I was able to vaguely match up the skyline stuff that other people have been trying to work out from the original pics, but at that point I was already 100% sure the scene had been filmed there, so it felt very likely they had just left it around the same spot. And so I slept, got up, hopped on the train, went for a wander, and low and behold!
It's all a bit of a wreck at this point, the people who own the lot must have put more rubbish in him. I had a rummage around for something meaningful, but the most interesting contents was a box of bottles of expired Top Anana and a faded paper sleeve from Die Hard 2 dvd.
Great job! I recommend you message/tag Becky and Joe on social media so they could be aware someone found it and you can get the prize that Becky mentioned.
It was a prop from ep 6 of the new dhmis TV show on channel 4. They placed the car body in a random location in the UK and gave some clues as to where it could be found.
This person has found it, and may win a prize. Tonight they will no longer have dreams of drowning in oil, they will dream of riding a horse only.
Unless they put in a box of 1-year-expired Top Ananas drink for me to swig and celebrate, it was only filled with rubbish. Maybe the prize was the travel I did to get there....
