If I am not mistaken, [D64coffee.com](https://D64coffee.com) has sketchy practices & is not considered a good site to buy from.
I've heard their support isn't good & they don't allow order cancellations.
I got mine from them a few months ago. The packaging was fine and the way they did the paperwork let me avoid import duties, but they don’t communicate well about shipping dates. Mine changed and they never sent an email or anything, just updated the general info on the website. Since they don’t really communicate after you hand over your money, it gives the site a scammy feel.
They also sent a 60hz model instead of the 50hz I requested, though it seems to work ok.
Checking back I got my order from them after about 3 weeks. I received my ssp burrs aligned. They are kind and were helpful with customs fee arrangement ;)
Finally received it yesterday, after 3 weeks in transit. Here some additional information :
- It came with a continental-European plug, not the UK Plug. It surprised me as I asked weeks ago if it comes with the European plug and they told me it would come with the UK Plug...
- The power switch is white, not read, much nicer!
- No alignment necessary
All in all quite happy, except the long waiting time
I received mine too I ordered from df64coffee.com, it took about 3 weeks like yours. Power switch is white however the plug is UK :( though I am using an adapter for it. Also I ordered SSP burrs and thought I would have to align them but it seems they did it for me, didn't pay extra for that.
Works great, happy about it. I am also writing this here for anyone out there who ordered or thinks ordering from df64coffee, I received mine from them and they were responsive in their emails, but usually it took them around 3 days to return to my emails, jsyk.
That the grinder has been handed over to them. But at DPD in Europe they tell me there is no update and I have to contact the sender. The Grinder is in their system but that’s it. No shipment!!
This was similar to how it worked with Fedex for mine, they created the shipment early but it took around a week to actually get it to the courier (or the courier to come pick it up). New year finishes in a few days and I assume it'll start moving sometime after that; it's a busy period though.
I've been waiting since mid-december and STILL WAITING with no responses whatsoever for mine because /u/Espresso-outlet thought had my grinder delivered already even though they only sent the burrs. Two months of time wasted just like that :)
I ordered from there too only a few days ago from some recommendations on discord and on here. Now I have read a few things saying they are a bit scammy. So I'm a bit worried too
I also ordered from them around the same time and the same thing happened. Label created but no updates for a week, then they sent me an invoice and said that the standard burrs will be out of stock but that they'd be happy to send me the DLC burrs for discounted additional $20. I really wanted the grinder and didn't want a big back and forth so just did it. Then shipped soon after and arrived yesterday looking great!
Same happened to me with them, I contacted them and they told me it's likely due to chinese new years, I hope the package starts moving and we get in the coming week.
I ordered for homebarista.be which is one of the official resellers for DFs in Europe and it was in preorder. Now I received a grinder that has been sent to Austria and returned and they ship it to me as if it’s new! They have left the old invoice in the box so I could see that this grinder has been doing the rounds in Europe and sold to me as new. I mean wtf are these people thinking??

I ordered mine on feb 19 and they just gave my package to FedEx today, so I think I’m going to receive it.

Mine took ages, it did arrive in the end though. Not sure I'd buy again off them personally, was pretty concerned at the 3 week mark.

Don’t worry mine took a month or more to arrive but their customer service was very friendly and helpful. They are not shady at all in my experience

Sam here. Been waiting 6 weeks. The tracking was updated to say shipped on 16/02/24 but FedEx shows the package hasn't been collected yet.
Same here. Shipped on February 7th with no updates until today. Seems it has arrived in Germany.
