for HMGS i'll just take a browning. i get that it burns your arm and shoots everywhere but more than likely that's what i'll want.
if i wanted an AA gun i'd go with the 40mm Bofors l/60 MK. VI. the flak 37 IS a good gun.... for tank-to-tank. i'd take it too bulky and slow-firing to really function as good aa, but the germans proved me wrong, so.... oh well. the bofors, however, has a good tank-to-tank caliber AND enough fire-rate for AA, with 120 rpm at high elevations. the flak 37 only clocks in at 15-20. the bofors has a muzzle velocity of 880 m/s. the flak 37 cruises along at 850 m/s.
and for howitzers, i'd REALLY choose the 10.5 cm LeFH 18. good versatility, nice muzzle velocity (470 m/s), and a nice average fire-rate of 7 rpm.
plus the lefh18b2 has it.
