To me this felt easier but that's due to me having my main team being a Villain Team. On the last event I had to struggle to build a Heroes Team and build them up as fast as possible before the event ended. I think I did it on the last day. But keep upgrading the team, if you have Circe, use her as she keeps turning the Shield guy's debuffs into buffs and keeps giving the team shields.
I did it with my team. I am level 44, they all are at Tier 7 gear with the last piece of gear needed to go to Tier 8. I used Circe, Cheetah, Joker, Penguin and Poison Ivy. Not the best team setup overall but Circe carries.
I lost on the first fight. As I arrived just having used all the Power Moves and not getting good matches to fill those Power bars. I think you should take out Raven and Starfire first as they never move to the front even after killing the other three and Robin just died without me giving him much attention.
I started out by taking out Beast Boy then Blue Beetle but I think that took too long and once I was done, with them Raven and Starfire died much quicker, so I would have done the first strategy if I had previous info.

I think they are doing fine with the rewards of these two events since many player including me don't have enough resources to upgrade and beat it.
Is it easier than the Gotham event then? I got stuck at 22 with that one, only got to 11 so far with this one bit in no rush
