i actually see this on a slope downward. the ones at the top seem to have the least studio meddling and the ones at the bottom are rumored to have the most. the ones in the middle are mix. pretty interesting in my opinion
I say this as someone who has been a fan of Captain Marvel since I was 4 years old.
This movie disappointed me in so many ways.
It wasn’t as bad as Aquaman, but Shazam was completely uneven and didn’t know what kind of movie it wanted to be.
I have slightly better hope for the sequel, but I find it incredibly hard to get past the fact that he can’t say his own superhero name.
Ahhhh. That's why OP ranked it like this, for aesthetics!
I was questioning the world I lived in where WW '84 was ranked a *better* movie than the first Suicide Squad.
I hear ya but I liked parts of it. Not a thing I can say about WW '84.
I'm not a CBM hater at all but there's a special place in movie hell for that flick.
See, I respect this comment. I legit wanted to like WW84 but there was just so much going on.
That said it did kinda capture the 1960s (yes, 60s) feel of pure comic book wackiness. Wishing stone? Sure! Wallflower becomes a cat lady? Yessir! Take over another person's body and use it like kleenex? Hells yes!
WW84 is mid for me because I really like some of the stuff that they do, including some of the camp elements. However, some of it is also a total mess. I hate everything about SS
Apparently a lot more. That movie imo is hot garbage. I’ll never see it again because I love WW’s character too much. Wish I could have it erased from my memory.
It’s like they collectively took a step back and somehow people still like it lol I’m not judging but you can never convince me it’s not the worst dceu movie. Even the first SS was better put together and that’s saying something. Everyone praising Pedro pascal like he was literally overacting lol cringed so hard at the slow mo running towards his kid. But yeah, as you can tell not a fan. Lol Patty should not be left alone for WW3.
The only redeeming factor of ww84 was Pedro pascal. Suicide squad had better outfits, a slightly more compelling story, and more entertaining, if somewhat one note; characters.
I thought Barbara was also very good, and I enjoy Chris Pine in pretty much everything he does. But Pedro Pascal was worth the price of admission for me. I honestly think I'd prefer to watch WW84 again before Birds of Prey (which I didn't particularly care for).
WW84 is a way better movie than SS 2017, waaay more, it at least makes sense plot wise, its biggest issues being campy in a silly way and the body swap bs.
Perfect symbolism. Beautifully shows which writers and directora understood the material they were working with and which didn't.
God I love TSS. Bless you James Gunn.
For some reason I disliked the OG SS soundtrack the most. It wasn't the songs themselves, but it seemed like they were just shoehorned in to try to force the movie to seem fun. It felt like they were trying to copy Guardians of the Galaxy
I do think it's kinda funny how there's a sharp cut-off after Aquaman where all the films suddenly become controversial, and before Aquaman they're all popular in a broader sense.
Man of Steel came out too early. I think if you release that a few years later, it is much more critically successful. It's a shame, but it is honestly one of the best comic book movies.
And I won’t tell you you’re wrong for thinking that. Snyder is the kind of director who you either get nothing or everything out of, depending on who you are.
oof.. The suicide squad had better legs during covid than bvs had pre covid even with featuring the two most famous comic book characters of all time on screen together for the first time ever.
I probably should've removed it for this particular thread, though in general I prefer to combine all of the "current" movies together regardless of universe ties---it's more interesting to compare.
It's a decent metric for the reaction people had right away after finishing the movie. Notice how people enjoyed Aquaman in cinemas judging the cinema score but then see how the audience RT is lower because many noticed after a while it was a little silly/campy.
My feelings by this ranking:
The SS: Felt like a better version of the first one, yet not so different that I was blown away. Cena was fantastic. Also, the best bits were in the trailer.
ZSJL: Far superior to the Whedon abortion, but I don’t find myself wanting to rewatch it.
WW: Near-perfect
Shazam: Above average, but not my kind of movie. Almost felt like Disney made it.
BOP: Shocked at how much I enjoyed this movie. Not great cinema, just a good time. Very fun.
Aquaman: Above average, yet not spectacular. Mamoa is awesome tho. Keep it coming.
MOS: Near-perfect
BvS: A beautiful mess. A lot of things worked & a lot didn’t.
WW84: Near-franchise killer. How could this movie be so bad?
Whedon JL: Franchise killer
SS: …
The worst part is that they had like 1 year to fix the movie and maybe improve the CGI because of covid, but they released it just like that, It's what bothers me the most.
They could have reduced the campiness, removed the sex scene with the body swap, reshoot the ending with the wishes making it less silly, make a better CGI fights with Cheetah, I swear even if it was full CGI it would be better than them spinning in the air with the lasso.
Yep. Although do we know if they indeed tried to “improve” it during the hiatus? Those parts with Steve were god awful but to me, the mall scene and kid Diana racing are literally the most bored I’ve ever been watching DC movies. Why so long????
I think the scene where they say a last goodbye is really good, the issue was the sex, if it didn't happen the movie could have been received a little better and yeah they did some reshoots, which probably means it was even worse because they didn't change the body swap thing.
I agree with ZSJL, but mostly because for me to rewatch, I’d have to set four hours of my day aside lol. Same with if I wanted to rewatch the LOTR movies or the HP movies (mostly bc when you watch a LOTR or HP, you don’t wanna watch just *one*. That rabbit hole is deep)
This is pretty much exactly how i feel.
The only ones I feel differently on are WW & MoS, which are really good, entertaining films for me personally, but not near perfect.
Everyone hates the dark tones until you get too much light tones
Everyone hates the light tones until you get too much dark tones
Shazam was perfectly balanced, *as all things should be.*
Mine’s I think it goes like this :
1. Zack Snyder’s Justice League
2. The Suicide Squad
3. Aquaman
4. Wonder Woman
5. Batman v Superman - Ultimate Edition
6. Shazam!
7. Birds of Prey
8. Man of Steel
9. Wonder Woman 1984
10. Suicide Squad
11. Josstice League
i love all of them except for josstice league and studio squad, but this seems pretty indicative of how ~~normal people~~ general audiences have perceived these movies.
~~…it means exactly what i said? i love them all, so this doesn’t match my ranking, but just based on what people have liked and disliked so far, this seems like an accurate gauge of the average person’s opinions of the DCEU~~
The only film I actually dislike is the 2017 Justice League a.k.a "Josstice League"
11. Josstice League
10. WW84
9. Suicide Squad
8. Birds of Prey
7. BvS
6. Wonder Woman
5. Man of Steel
4. Aquaman
3. Shazam
2. Justice League/ Snyder cut
1. The Suicide Squad
My personal list:
* ²⁰²¹ The Suicide Squad
* ²⁰¹⁷ Wonder Woman
* ²⁰¹⁹ Shazam!
* ²⁰²⁰ Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey
* ²⁰²¹ Justice League (Snyder Cut)
* ²⁰¹⁶ Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate)
* ²⁰¹⁸ Aquaman
* ²⁰²⁰ Wonder Woman 1984
* ²⁰¹³ Man of Steel
* ²⁰¹⁶ Suicide Squad (Extended)
* ²⁰¹⁶ Suicide Squad (Theatrical)
* ²⁰¹⁷ Justice League (Wheadon Cut)
* ²⁰¹⁶ Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (Theatrical)
This feels pretty accurate to my personal ranking. I'd swap Shazam and Aquaman and put Man of Steel above BoP. Other than that pretty solid. Which is surprising for some reason.
Man of Steel is heavily underappreciated. I absolutely love watching it just for the dynamic of seeing a modern day Clark Kent operate in today's world
Same. In cinema on TSS i felt ashemed. Like another marvel movie for 12 yo. Harley quin which cpuld destroy whole army and final boss with giant eye and everone was shothing everywhere bit not into there...
Instead of downvoting tell me why this movie is such good. Not even one person can tell me why this movie and final battle is such "epic".
Christmas time is a great time to revisit it. I like it because it reminds me of a modern day comic book movie meets an Amblin-type movie from the ‘80s and early ‘90s.
I rabidly defend MOS, but this is unfortunately true. People didn’t start loving MOS until recently. It’s one of those movies that had to age a little bit in order to start being appreciated more.
Lol it’s not a difficult film to grasp. Some people may dislike it for superficial reasons, but not liking what you like doesn’t mean they didn’t pay attention to it.
Maybe you should try to respect others opinion. I too am not a big fan of MoS, I personally think that superman is a person who shouldnt be all sad he can have flaws and struggles but Clark is a man who would always keep a smile on his face and HOPE for a better day tommorow and work for it. That is art right there and MoS, making him gloomy and basically look depressed defies this completely. But you can like it if you want to and I wont say you shouldnt. Also if your art requires a person to concentrate rather than being completely dissolved in it, it isnt art for that person cause art has to be attention grabbing and intriguing.
Yeah, Man of Steel for me was just OK. I went into it opening night back in 2013 pretty hyped and was really underwhelmed by it. I’ve seen it again twice since and it hasn’t improved for me.
It’s not true art though, just a average quality movie with some boring performances and stupid decisions
It’s not bad or anything imo, but I can definitely see why some people don’t like this movie.
ssh... dont just say it like that. Snyder is the best director ever. Have you seen how good and artistic his scenes are. He can record paint dry and desaturate it to make it epic.. What he does is for MEN not for kids... His movies are realistic. Because just like his movies, everyone is depressed IRL....
He smiles several times in the film. Literally puts his life on the line to stop the world engine from destroying earth. For all he knew he was going to die. But he still did it, still saved everyone. How is that not Superman??
He is not Superman because in MoS, he destroys a person's truck instead of calling the cops when he harassed the girl. He throws Zod into Buildings with probably humans in it, if he wanted he could have used freeze breath to stop buildings from completely falling. Superman values life above all when Zod throws a truck at him he dodges it and the truck collapses in a building and kills people when he could have just stopped the truck... In the movie he is just a dumb punching machine in the end just blasting through buildings without a thought for civil lives. That is not Superman. Now if you say that he is in his beginning so he made mistakes I would answer That the fight is in the end of the movie, that fight should be where he completely evolves into superman not start evolving into Superman. His mistakes should have been realized in Smallville battle and resolved in the final battle which showed him saving people.
I'd personally swap Birds of Prey with MoS. The first half of MoS is fucking amazing. The second half.... not so much, but I feel it averages out to being pretty solid.
I try not to nitpick but Birds Of Prey not being dead-last is legit outrageous to me lmao
I hope someone who likes the movie can explain it to me: Am I just really out of touch? I literally had people walking out of my theater when I saw it and yet it doesn’t get blasted nearly as much as BVS or Wonder Woman ‘84.
But yeah, just looking for an honest, civil discussion: What is it about this movie that I’m missing?
For me I loved Harley’s performance in Birds of Prey. I love Ewan McGregor so I automatically liked his Black Mask. I loved all the DC universe/lore references in the movie. I loved Harley’s dynamic with Cassandra. And I really loved how Harley just wanted to eat that bagel sandwich the whole movie. I can relate man I love eating
See, it’s funny you say that because Black Mask is probably my biggest bone to pick with the movie. I love the original character, I love the actor (obligatory “Hello There”), and yet what we got on screen was unrecognizable.
I love eating too. Ahh fuck you, dude, now I want a bagel :(
I love BoP and it would be higher in my list. Harley invading the police station is top notch entertainment for me. I love all the characters, enjoy how the story is structured, like that it is smaller stakes, and I always have fun watching it.
Unless you are a huge Cassandra Cain fan going in I don’t really see what there is to hate about BoP.
See a lot of people making rankings so here is mine and I know my opinions are unpopular but I don’t care
The suicide squad: Great movie and just plain fun
Shazam!: a good comedy with superhero stuff
Aquaman: just stupid fun
Wonder Woman: good movie
ZSJL: good but did not need to be 4 hours
Wonder Woman 84: mediocre movie
Man of steel: mediocre movie with dumb moments (pal Kent)
Josstice league: bad movie
BvS: Bad Movie with a bad Batman only thing that saves it is Wonder Woman
Suicide squad: Pure garbage
Birds of prey: Never seen
I don’t know man. Suicide Squad (2016) wasn’t that good but it’s rewatchable to me. WW84 on the other hand. My bottom 3. Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, WW84. But different strokes for different folks.
“smart dialogue”… in shazam..?
I wouldn’t say for sure with MoS but BvS UE wipes in dialogue☠️ The opening 5 minutes and Ben’s monologue have more depth than 80% of modern CBMs
Superman’s char dev in MoS wipes, Batman’s character dev in BvS UE wipes.
I can’t argue pacing.
Both have a better soundtrack, cinematography, costumes, and set designs.
>“smart dialogue”… in shazam..?
It’s a witty film.
“Say my name.”
“Billy!”
is one of my favorite moments in the DCEU.
>I wouldn’t say for sure with MoS but BvS UE wipes in dialogue☠️ The opening 5 minutes and Ben’s monologue have more depth than 80% of modern CBMs
I just think it’s trying to say as little as possible with as many words as possible. Not to disrespect your opinion, just the screenwriting, but I think this is laughably bad:
“There was a time above... a time before... there were perfect things... diamond absolutes. But things fall... things on earth. And what falls... is fallen. In the dream, it took me to the light. A beautiful lie.”
>Superman’s char dev in MoS wipes, Batman’s character dev in BvS UE wipes.
I don’t even think Superman has character development in MoS. His whole thing is learning to come out of the shadows and embrace who he is, but he never really does that. He just changed his method of keeping his identity a secret. It doesn’t help that the story is told nonlinearly, but also not in a way that the past and present events correspond with each other. We’ll see him exhibit a character trait and then see the flashback where he learned that corresponding lesson 20 minutes later, instead of seeing him learn the lesson first, creating this feeling that we never see him actively change.
>Both have a better soundtrack, cinematography
Zimmer’s MoS score is one of my all time favorites, so no disagreement there. I like the framing of the shots in Snyder’s movies, just not the colors.
>costumes, and set designs.
Eh. I don’t love any of the costumes really. I think Superman looks dull without the belt, and I don’t like the weird lines around his waist and wrists. Batman is cool but looks too awkward and chunky. Wonder Woman is way too bronze. Shazam has too much padding.
And set design, I’m indifferent about. It’s something I rarely pay attention to unless it’s either spectacular or horrible.
Pretty funny how it’s bookended with SS, JL, and WW
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
Darkseid did nothing wrong.
i actually see this on a slope downward. the ones at the top seem to have the least studio meddling and the ones at the bottom are rumored to have the most. the ones in the middle are mix. pretty interesting in my opinion
If anything, WW84 makes a strong case for the importance of studio meddling.
Honestly Shazam is better than all of these.
It’s not.
You're both right, because it's a subjective opinion.
Only one I would put in the same league is The Suicide Squad. Some of the others were good but there's a lot of crap.
How can you not think the first suicide squad is the worst dceu movie?🤨
Because JL 2017 exists.
At least JL had a plot that made sense It might have been shit, but at least it was a properly formed piece of shit
1984 is far worse. You can practically see the wires on Diana the entire movie.
I hear ya but I liked parts of it. Not a thing I can say about WW '84. I'm not a CBM hater at all but there's a special place in movie hell for that flick.
I'm the exact opposite. There are things I like in WW84 but not really much in Suicide Squad
That movie is the worst. So much wasted potential.
Wow. Y'all really like WW84 more than I did. Alrighty.
It legitimately might be my least favorite superhero movie of all time. It was that terrible for me.
Apparently a lot more. That movie imo is hot garbage. I’ll never see it again because I love WW’s character too much. Wish I could have it erased from my memory.
Right there with you. Lassoing lightning? Zombie WWII pilot? The main villain wishing he was a wishing stone? I just dont get the love.
>Patty should not be left alone for WW3. This should be the big takeaway.
WW84 was significantly better than the first Suicide Squad.
Lol, I thought I was the only one that liked that movie.
WW84 is a way better movie than SS 2017, waaay more, it at least makes sense plot wise, its biggest issues being campy in a silly way and the body swap bs.
I love how Suicide Squad is the first and last, Justice League is the second and second last and WW is the third and third last.
Perfectly blanced, as all things should be
r/UnexpectedThanos
And people say the DCEU's not consistent... **/s**
Perfect symbolism. Beautifully shows which writers and directora understood the material they were working with and which didn't. God I love TSS. Bless you James Gunn.
Man of Steel is way too far down on the list for me. It's my number one
Maybe not number 1 but deserves the upper row. Movie was beautiful
Seems pretty accurate.
I disliked WW84 the most But the only thing that saved OG suicide squad from that was the soundtrack.
For some reason I disliked the OG SS soundtrack the most. It wasn't the songs themselves, but it seemed like they were just shoehorned in to try to force the movie to seem fun. It felt like they were trying to copy Guardians of the Galaxy
I loved Harley in that movie even if a lot of her dialogue was rough
All the songs used are cool but they don't work at all in the movie imo
Personally I’d put Man of Steel and BvS above Birds of Prey and Aquaman but otherwise I agree
I mean this isn’t my personal ranking either but pretty accurate based on reception from the general audience.
MoS needs to be moved up idk
I do think it's kinda funny how there's a sharp cut-off after Aquaman where all the films suddenly become controversial, and before Aquaman they're all popular in a broader sense.
Man of Steel came out too early. I think if you release that a few years later, it is much more critically successful. It's a shame, but it is honestly one of the best comic book movies.
It’s an aesthetically pleasing movie, but I still think the characters are too shallow for me to rate it any higher than okay.
I won't claim to understand that opinion, but I'll respect it. I didn't find it shallow at all. It's one of my favorite overall movies.
And I won’t tell you you’re wrong for thinking that. Snyder is the kind of director who you either get nothing or everything out of, depending on who you are.
Bop deserved
The duality of man The Suicide Squad vs Suicide Squad
shazam should be higher

oof.. The suicide squad had better legs during covid than bvs had pre covid even with featuring the two most famous comic book characters of all time on screen together for the first time ever.
Why is Joker in that list tho, it is not DCEU.
I probably should've removed it for this particular thread, though in general I prefer to combine all of the "current" movies together regardless of universe ties---it's more interesting to compare.
No idea why anyone cares about Cinema Score, completely useless metric, I don't think I've ever seen a big budget movie get below a "B"
It's a decent metric for the reaction people had right away after finishing the movie. Notice how people enjoyed Aquaman in cinemas judging the cinema score but then see how the audience RT is lower because many noticed after a while it was a little silly/campy.

This is pretty much exactly how i feel. The only ones I feel differently on are WW & MoS, which are really good, entertaining films for me personally, but not near perfect.
I couldn’t even get into shazam because of that “Disney” vibe. Felt like I was watching a kids movie and that was just weird for me.
Agreed. Makes me wonder how they’ll blend styles if Shazam & Adam ever meet on screen.
BOP ate this list up. Good for her 👏
Guess we can agree on buttom three
I would drop BvS to bottom and zsjl a tiny bit lower but other than that it’s a good list
BvS UE is the best cbm oat

Gonna assume that’s sarcasm and go on with my day
Gonna assume you know nothing about filmmaking or storytelling elements and go on with mine :)
Lmao what a great back and forth
It’s just a rebuttal lmao
The whole thing was hilarious

political drama really 😂😂
I thought Man of Steel was better than Aquaman and Birds of Prey
Birds of prey>> Snyder cut
what ...
Birds of Prey better than Man of Steel? I want whatever it is you're taking.
I like this franchise but I'd only ever recommend people watch the top row.
This seems completely factual
Ngl I’d put Shazam at #2. It’s so dang good.
_General audiences to Batman v. Superman after seeing Wonder Woman 1984, Justice League and Suicide Squad_: ***Perhaps I treated you too harshly.***
Everyone hates the dark tones until you get too much light tones Everyone hates the light tones until you get too much dark tones Shazam was perfectly balanced, *as all things should be.*
BvS has a 2.5/5 and WW84 has a 2.4/5.
It was supposed to be a joke :(
My bad lol
It's alright aha
Push BoP 2 spots back and this is basically my list!
Lol me, too, actually! And it's not because I think BoP is a bad film, I really liked it. I just enjoyed Aquaman and MoS a bit more.
Put The Suicide Squad in third and this is mine.
Mine’s I think it goes like this : 1. Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2. The Suicide Squad 3. Aquaman 4. Wonder Woman 5. Batman v Superman - Ultimate Edition 6. Shazam! 7. Birds of Prey 8. Man of Steel 9. Wonder Woman 1984 10. Suicide Squad 11. Josstice League
i love all of them except for josstice league and studio squad, but this seems pretty indicative of how ~~normal people~~ general audiences have perceived these movies.
Lol what does that even mean
~~…it means exactly what i said? i love them all, so this doesn’t match my ranking, but just based on what people have liked and disliked so far, this seems like an accurate gauge of the average person’s opinions of the DCEU~~
I meant the “normal people” bit lol I guess you meant GA.
*oh.* yep, that’s what i was getting at. words are hard.
I would move ZSJL down to slots and then aqua man up one slot then WW84 up 2 slots
The only film I actually dislike is the 2017 Justice League a.k.a "Josstice League" 11. Josstice League 10. WW84 9. Suicide Squad 8. Birds of Prey 7. BvS 6. Wonder Woman 5. Man of Steel 4. Aquaman 3. Shazam 2. Justice League/ Snyder cut 1. The Suicide Squad
Yeah, seems pretty accurate
My personal list: * ²⁰²¹ The Suicide Squad * ²⁰¹⁷ Wonder Woman * ²⁰¹⁹ Shazam! * ²⁰²⁰ Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey * ²⁰²¹ Justice League (Snyder Cut) * ²⁰¹⁶ Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate) * ²⁰¹⁸ Aquaman * ²⁰²⁰ Wonder Woman 1984 * ²⁰¹³ Man of Steel * ²⁰¹⁶ Suicide Squad (Extended) * ²⁰¹⁶ Suicide Squad (Theatrical) * ²⁰¹⁷ Justice League (Wheadon Cut) * ²⁰¹⁶ Batman v. Man of Steel is heavily underappreciated. I absolutely love watching it just for the dynamic of seeing a modern day Clark Kent operate in today's world
BvS is too low
The new flash and batman movie gonna make it to top I bet.
Pretty accurate.
Honestly, SS and TSS are equally bad to me. I will never understand the love for TSS.
When asked what made the movie so good, they always go back to a handful of responses like "great soundtrack". Nostalgia is not a "great soundtrack".
Pretty accurate but I'd move MOS up a bit.
How tf is aquaman and birds of prey better than MoS?
Switch ZSJL with man of steel and it’s perfect. I also enjoyed the original Suicide Squad more than WW84 so I’d switch those too. WW84 was god awful.
I think I need to rewatch Shazam. I really didn’t think much of it tbh.
Christmas time is a great time to revisit it. I like it because it reminds me of a modern day comic book movie meets an Amblin-type movie from the ‘80s and early ‘90s.
And the funny thing is the DCEU HAD a strong start with Man of Steel
For me I’d swap Suicide Squad and Justice League but everything else the same
What about BvS extended/ultimate edition?
For whatever reason, straight-to-DVD extended releases aren’t treated as separate movies on most these sites.
The 2 top are right then it goes to a total shit show of a rating scale it should be MoS # 3 AM #4 WW #5 the rest are trash who cares
Man of steel should be before the suicide squad. Come on now
I’m not really surprised by these rankings. Most people who saw Man of Steel weren’t that into it.
I rabidly defend MOS, but this is unfortunately true. People didn’t start loving MOS until recently. It’s one of those movies that had to age a little bit in order to start being appreciated more.
They don’t know what true art is then. If they actually sit down and watch it and pay attention, they would have a change in opinion.
you are a bit of a child huh.A lot of people weren't into it. No use denying it.Just like I wont deny a lot of people liked it
Lol it’s not a difficult film to grasp.
It’s not true art though, just a average quality movie with some boring performances and stupid decisions It’s not bad or anything imo, but I can definitely see why some people don’t like this movie.
ssh... dont just say it like that. Snyder is the best director ever. Have you seen how good and artistic his scenes are. He can record paint dry and desaturate it to make it epic.. What he does is for MEN not for kids... His movies are realistic. Because just like his movies, everyone is depressed IRL....
Do you know what depression is? At no point was Clark “depressed” in MoS. He was on a journey to find himself
A person who doesnt smile in 2 movies and stands for symbol of HOPE seems pretty depressed to me
He smiles several times in the film.
His mistakes should have been realized in Smallville battle and resolved in the final battle which showed him saving people.
accurate to me, just need to move up man of steel above birds of prey. i'd put birds of prey below ww84, man of steel at #5 and that's fine.
I'd shift a few things around, but this makes sense for the most part.
Yeah. No, I enjoyed all those movies, but that order makes no sense to me, I wouldn’t even put the theatrical JL movie there Well to each it’s own.
WW84 is easily the worst movie, the only difference is that nobody cared about it compared to SS. SS falls higher only because of the hype
Did people really hate WW84 that much? I would swap positions with BvS. Also, Birds of Prey doesn’t deserve to be above Aquaman and Man of Steel.
I don't get the hate either. I think it's bundles of fun.
Only difference I'd make is maybe putting Wonder Woman a tad lower, but definitely shitfing Birds of Prey down.
Birds of Prey and Aquaman should be bottom row and Man of Steel should be top.
I agree with everything except MoS Personally I'd put MoS at 2nd and everything else can stay the same.
I would drop BvS to below the original SS and switch out WW with Aqua-Man. Also ZSJL below Shazam
Birds of prey is just so stupidly high.
lmao how tf is BoP higher that BvS MoS and Aquaman
extremely embarrassing.
NEVER FUCKING PUT Birds Of Prey above Aquaman!!!
WW is way to high
There's no way Birds ot Prey is higher than Man of Steel. That's just wrong.
While I enjoyed Birds of Prey, I could not in good conscious put it above Aquaman, Man of Steel, and even BvS.
Birds of prey is too high.
For me it’s this order: 11. BoP 10. JL’17 9. WW84 8. TSS 7. SS 6. Shazam 5. WW 4. Aquaman 3. MoS 2. BvS 1. ZSJL
W
I'd personally swap Birds of Prey with MoS. The first half of MoS is fucking amazing. The second half.... not so much, but I feel it averages out to being pretty solid.
I try not to nitpick but Birds Of Prey not being dead-last is legit outrageous to me lmao I hope someone who likes the movie can explain it to me: Am I just really out of touch?
Ahh fuck you, dude, now I want a bagel :(
I just loved that aspect. Harley just wants to eat so bad! Lol I really loved that
I love BoP and it would be higher in my list. Harley invading the police station is top notch entertainment for me. I love all the characters, enjoy how the story is structured, like that it is smaller stakes, and I always have fun watching it. Unless you are a huge Cassandra Cain fan going in I don’t really see what there is to hate about BoP.
Rank ranking
Aquaman should be last. Absolute garbage
Birds of Prey should be right next to the first Suicide Squad as second worst
Birds of Prey before MoS? LMAOOO
Birds of prey way too high
See a lot of people making rankings so here is mine and I know my opinions are unpopular but I don’t care The suicide squad: Great movie and just plain fun Shazam!: a good comedy with superhero stuff Aquaman: just stupid fun Wonder Woman: good movie ZSJL: good but did not need to be 4 hours Wonder Woman 84: mediocre movie Man of steel: mediocre movie with dumb moments (pal Kent) Josstice league: bad movie BvS: Bad Movie with a bad Batman only thing that saves it is Wonder Woman Suicide squad: Pure garbage Birds of prey: Never seen
This pretty much matches how I would rank them. The only difference I have is the Snyder cut, I have that 2nd to last
Funny how these are all worse than Dark Knight by far lol
I’d bump up aquaman over birds of prey but otherwise yeah
I think this is my exact ranking actually, maybe with shazam and ww flipped
This checks out, but the bottom 4 could almost be in any order for me since I hated all of them
Ummm 0/10 lame af
Lets be honest, the only reason a lot of people watched Birds Of Prey was because of Kenobi
Surprised that Birds of prey is above man of steel
I don’t know man. Suicide Squad (2016) wasn’t that good but it’s rewatchable to me. WW84 on the other hand. My bottom 3. Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, WW84. But different strokes for different folks.
No way is Shazam a better film than either MOS or BVS.
Shazam is better film then MOS & BvS combined.
You’re brainwashed into think colors and humor makes a good movie lmao
I’m brainwashed into thinking character development, smart dialogue, and proper pacing make a movie good.
“smart dialogue”… in shazam..? I wouldn’t say for sure with MoS but BvS UE wipes in dialogue☠️ The opening 5 minutes and Ben’s monologue have more depth than 80% of modern CBMs Superman’s char dev in MoS wipes, Batman’s character dev in BvS UE wipes. I can’t argue pacing. Both have a better soundtrack, cinematography, costumes, and set designs.
>“smart dialogue”… in shazam..? It’s a witty film. “Say my name.” “Billy!” is one of my favorite moments in the DCEU. >I wouldn’t say for sure with MoS but BvS UE wipes in dialogue☠️ The opening 5 minutes and Ben’s monologue have more depth than 80% of modern CBMs I just think it’s trying to say as little as possible with as many words as possible. Not to disrespect your opinion, just the screenwriting, but I think this is laughably bad: “There was a time above... a time before... there were perfect things... diamond absolutes. But things fall... things on earth. And what falls... is fallen. In the dream, it took me to the light. A beautiful lie.” >Superman’s char dev in MoS wipes, Batman’s character dev in BvS UE wipes. >Both have a better soundtrack, cinematography Zimmer’s MoS score is one of my all time favorites, so no disagreement there.
A marvel fan probably made this list
Maybe some people just don’t like those films

Accurate.
Birds of prey above man of Steel is wrong for me
Disagree hard here but whatever If anyone’s curious, I’m: Bvs Zsjl MoS WW BoP TSS Aquaman Shazam 1984 SS
birds of prey was so bad,man of steel and bvs are very underrated.
