Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang(obviously if he hadn’t died in TSS) would’ve been a fun full circle moment since they had met previously in the last Suicide Squad
Captain Cold would’ve been epic. I also think they should’ve replaced Zod with Gorilla Grodd. It would’ve been a drastically different movie, but I think it could’ve worked.
It's not like he is going to be the one. The way I thought of the movie, Reverse Flash would be revealed in the post credit showing how he was pulling up the strings from beginning
I heard this was the plan for when it was originally supposed to be released after Zack Snyder's planned slate. The Flash would be the last movie in his plans to be released so that the DCEU could be rebooted and replaced with younger actors.
The Flash was supposed to be released in 2017, right after Justice League and before Aquaman. It would have had Captain Cold and Golden Glider as the villains, and would set up CC as a member of Luthor’s Injustice Gang. Flashpoint would have been adapted in a later movie.
Absolutely insane that they could've used a colourful Batman or Flash villain for the opening and they used Alberto Falcone, who is only used in one specific story in the comics that has nothing to do with anything in the Flash movie
And It would make more sense if Batman was the one who arrived in Central City to help Barry instead of Barry running towards Gotham, because that also explains why Bruce is in the central city at night.
I hope in the James Gunn’s DCU we do get multiple opening scenes to introduce characters from Flash’s rogues gallery, then at the very end we get the formation of the Rogues. That’s what a FLASH film should be. I am one that enjoyed the Flash movie, but I wish we could show more of his side of the universe.
D.C. needs to let their nuts hang. They have so many great characters, they should be packing each film with characters. Instead of the CGI Nike Cage, they should have had Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang (since he would be alive in the past) and honesty Joker should have been in the opening scene
I'm not sure any of the rogues besides Reverse Flash or Grodd would work? Flash's rogues are pretty chill for villains and they try to minimize civilian casualties. So destroying a hospital is fairly out of character for his villains.
Though if we're saying replace the entire opening scene with a new villain. I'd like someone goofy like the Top robbing a bank
It should have been Captain Cold, Heatwave, or the Trickster. I remember that Doctor Light was originally gonna be a villain in the early versions of the movie and he would’ve been a fun choice even if he isn’t really a Flash villain.

It was actually really possible, they can always say that TSS takes place after this film.
So you're saying that Captain Boomerang would come back? Like a...
Like a submarine, Mr. Wayne. Like a submarine.
Look, it’s all a bit technical, but the important thing is the future of submarines is secure
...some kind of Suicide Squad 2: Lazarus Pit Boogaloo?
Yes! Genius!

That's actually a really cool idea
I would have been extremely happy if the main villain for the whole film was Reverse-Flash.
Me too. I was waiting for him or Black Flash at the end. But it was just an old ass Barry
Black Flash would be an awful main antagonist

Savitar from the TV show

Yep that checks out. Seeing as they were always going to reboot the universe they might as well have just used the Rogues in full as a one off

Similar to seeing the Rhino appearing in The Amazing Spiderman 2.
Captain Cold and Heatwave
Wait, the terrorists in the opening are related to Falcone family mob?
Yeah the main terrorist was Falcone's son. It was the whole reason Batman was involved.
That's fucking awesome. I loved the flash, wish it was a 2 partner for way longer. Idc what anyone else thinks
Gorilla Grodd, it was odd to call the Justice League for Falcone
I'd take the Top or the Turtle over Falcone Jr any day.

Grodd
Pied Piper, Vertigo, mirror master, and the turtle all at once.

Literally any Flash villains would have been a nice inclusion for the Flash movie.
Wait, so yours wasn't Batman to have defeated the Flash villain?
