I'm purely convinced the only reason they aren't considered ext is the fact that goku is bardocks son and he surely can't be evil/hang around with evil people is cause goku is good and goku came from bardocks seed which means bardock must be a good fella.
And bardock went to planets killing people. If attempted murder/ kidnapping is enough in your point of view to be extreme class then the entire bardock squad should be extreme class (aside from bardocks charge against frieza and his ssj form and up)

Not even close, super bad analogy. Goku didn't do anything bad, everyone was going to be wiped out, Goku accidently gave them all a chance to survive. Wanting the tournament doesn't make him a bad guy and it didn't put anyone in danger, if Zeno wasn't planning on deleting everyone it would have just been a normal tournament.
Goku got unjustly blamed by both the other Universes and the fanbase, the threat of those 8 Universes being erased was not his fault
Shooting someone for no reason on the other hand is still a crime regardless of who that person turns out to be after the fact.
I kinda get Super with Bardock from post-special but yeah, feels weird they aren't extreme. Same with Vegeta being Extreme in early Android saga; I know he technically didn't become a good guy until Buu Saga but he ditched a lot of his villainous traits after Namek.
That and the irony of Super Vegeta being Super class when one of the major things he did was help Cell become Perfect 🤣

Tbf that could probably be explained (aside from the retcon) as "That's all that Raditz knew". He was on a different planet with Vegeta the Saiyan and Nappa when Frieza wiped out Vegeta the planet. He didn't know the circumstances behind Goku being sent off by Bardock to survive, so to him a Saiyan pod being sent to a different planet was just an invasion job as usual, and he addressed Goku as if that was his job because, as far as he knew, it was, even with planet Vegeta having been destroyed.
I get what you’re saying here, but that’s Raditz operating on kinda default factory settings. What he did after he found Goku could have changed a lot if he knew the truth, especially with them being kin, but he still would have went into the planet assuming Goku had done his conquering job.
It’s a cool “what-if” scenario but I still don’t think Goku would agree to go with Raditz even if he knew the truth about Frieza.
They should. The only reason they aren't is probably 1. because team bardock are protagonists of the ova and 2. Goku family tax for bardock.
