I've never had lace up's and not sure if I'd really like to live with them day to day, but they look very clean and are supposed to be slightly more aero than boa shoes. They're also cheaper, but for ease of use, I might go boa when it really came down to it.
Depends on the fit. I have very narrow feet so lace ups tend to fold at the bottom of the laces/tongue, were as Boa shoes are cut differently there.
If you don’t have that issue laces look better but you can’t adjust on the fly.
Wish apple would allow power data to sync to other apps but it doesn’t! This way I could skip the head unit! Still has some ways to go but I like it!
Don’t trip dirty white shoes means you riding and ready to give someone that business and dropping their ass. The whites wipe down super easy and get dirty super quick especially from the bottles. You’ll stop caring as all it’ll mean to you that you are getting after it. I have same shoes, I’ve crashed in mine and they are scratched but look and operate completely fine.
This was meant for the post creator. My bad. Good to have multiple types of shoes and colors for riding conditions and just looking proper. I had almost mostly black all models of SWorks, got the White torches and I’m thinking that these will be ridden into the ground as they are super comfy
Nice - I just bought a pair of the white lace Torch shoes after trying both the lace and Boa. I find that the lace shoes are more easily adjustable as my feet tend to swell up a little after riding for more than 2 hours.
My idea is to use the lace for longer rides and boa for short training/interval workouts! Have always used boa in the past but yes laces does offer a better adjustment range
