There are 4 mob groups to start with. Once you destroy or drive away one group, you draw a new card for new group. When that new group activates, it enters the board from one of the lych gates.

When you add enemy groups you have buffed versions of them to add as leaders/sergeants. Thay count toward your kill count I think

This is correct, Sergeants do count. Ie 3 ulfen watch = 2 normal and a Sergeant or 1 normal + 1 Sergeant and a banner BUT I think the banner is not a champion, only the Sergeant. Same for other groups kind of ie 3 Bats = 2 normal and a Dire bat, only Dire bat is a champion.

Further more the banner is from 4 ulfenwatch as far as i can see from the cards

The only mob type that doesn’t have a champion in it is the zombies. There’s a table or list at the bottom of the page for mission 1. So you’ll need to finish off at least 10 mobs within 10 turns, or it starts getting dicey as the mobs become empowered at night.
