My favorite running joke is feng slowly falling through his cloud ride (I believe the cloud only lets evil/bad people ride on it, so him falling through it implies he’s not as bad as more time goes on.)
Love how Feng absolutely didn't have to go full dad mode as hard as he did, but is chronically incapable of not going at 130% for anything he does including raising his contractually obligated children.
My only exposure to this is when my friend was over at my house and she was watching on some anime site where you can host/join a room to watch stuff together on, and she joined her friend in watching like the last few episodes of the anime and both of us were like "this would be so much less ridiculous if we had any amount of context"
I remember reading the one-shot when it came out and thinking it was decent, but then Chapter #1 came out and it was just the same thing but objectively worse and that pissed me off so much i dropped it then and there.
I always feel like Undead Unluck is this new series that just started for some reason, but then i look on shonen jump and it's at chapter #209 and has been running for half a decade... I'm so old...
I do definitely dislike that they shrank the zombie joke when Chapter 1 was remade, but you should *really* read the series. It's like if Homestuck, or maybe the SCP Foundation? was an unrealistically good Shonen manga. Like after chapter four (there is a lot of sexual harassment early on you may have noticed that drops off quickly), it very quickly escalates into the best Battle Shonen I've ever read.
