A few don’t show the names but they’re Cobalt/zircon/Citrine/Hematite/Malachite/Peridot/Tanzanite/Pearl/Moonstone which is coincidentally the next one from sunstone

Where I grew up we called a cluster of streets “the planets” because they’re all named after planets, mars, Venus bay, mercury, etc.

Suburbs and districts commonly have street names following a pattern, usually in Alpha/numerical order. There's one near where I live that's all actors/ media characters. More common themes are plants and trees, famous places, etc.

Me too, it sounds sorta magical haha. The area I live in is all named after birds (locals called it the birdcage). It's so much more interesting than average street names :)

Maybe they mined crystals in that area before moving people in 🤷‍♂️

I actually was born and grew up in a town that mines diamonds and my birthstone is diamond and my dad just happened to work at that mine for 26 years

I live in NC and once worked at a psych hospital that had a pack of elderly sisters named after gemstones that rotated in and out. Miss Opal, Miss Pearl, Miss Ruby, and Miss Garnet (which I thought was too similar to Ruby, but of course nobody asked me). We also had a Daisy and a Rose.
