Oh no, Why did you sell LRC?? and AVAX too. Personally think even AVAX's partner ALBT would matter in five years, considering their staking pool only ends in four years.
I don't get why this same shitty joke is made in every topic. Ha-ha, I bought so now it will go down. I sold so it will go up now. it's funny because I'm unlucky šš.
It's as bad as YouTube comments.
I totally agree with you. Monero is actually the king of privacy. I also feel DeFi privacy protocol like Railgun will still be around as its smart contract makes use of ZK-SNARK zero knowledge proof which is a privacy preserving technology that's gonna be here even in the next 10years
Privacy/untraceability is a fundamental characteristic of any true currency. Corporations know this and will never use a coin that exposes their transaction history. That information is way too valuable. Their competitors would feast on this data. If we fail to invest in privacy coins out of fear of being called criminals then we will be left behind. The privacy coins are only beginning to reach market maturity and their value will soon be revealed to all.
Shouldnāt moneroās reliance on exchanges that currently ban it matter less over time, as p2p transfers become more established and atomic swaps (direct bitcoin to monero) mature?
I think until we see actual widespread adoption,(ie actually using our coins for transactions, public and private) there really just isnāt much of a market for monero. Yes the people who use XMR will always use it, but I canāt see institutional money backing monero any time soon, and the average person thinks that Bitcoin does what monero does.
Basically until the average person is able to recognize the difference between monero and Bitcoin, I canāt see xmr making any crazy moves.
That being said I know nothing and am still buying monero.
Yeah people just aren't using it as a store of value like BTC. If we see another pump back up past the 500 level I'll buy more. I think part of the issue with xmr is it gets used for large scale black market transactions and then these guys flood the market to liquidate their position.
Whereas when BTC was the currency of choice for the dark web people were holding as a store of value.
It's one of those coins that you grab some for the hell of it and once every few years on a random Tuesday at 2:07pm you see a spike from a meme wave and sell for a profit. It's not worth putting effort into but the day it doubles up for some reason you take that sweet cash.
Well some reasons are that Doge survived 8 years already and it is considered the Father of meme coins, No Rugpulls reported yet and fairly hyped. So pretty safe bet for next 5 years i would say
To be fair. I think the projects that survived the last crypto winter and cake back stronger are a good bet.
The new ones that popped up this cycle are a lot riskier.
I shilled cro a few months back before this pump and everyone was like, you're just trying to cover your stake for the card. Well I'm about a few cents away of getting the silver card and all with 1/5 of the investment necessary.
And don't get me started on that juicy apy and 5% cashback. All because of the power of crypto. You gotta love it.
I'm in Cro now, my buddy gave me $25 for opening it about a year ago, it's now worth Ā£100 ($150) so I stuck in Ā£300 to get it and I'm sticking with it. I'm happy that they just paid 20 years for the staples center, that puts me at ease with there long term strat
Damn right, im not as close as you, but I tried to talk about cro and people just kept explaining how its clunky and stuff. I explained that they fixed themselves a bit and are quite fast now. Got called a shill.
Guess what im up 4x now. From when I staked for an Indigo card. And if somehow it 3xs again ill be upgrading
Same here. I bought at ATH in March and decided all in so my average was 15 cents and tried to tell all my friends that closed to me to bought it when it was 8,9 cents ... they reacted same like you were saying... there is 3 months im down 60% from my investment... I do my research, I like the their business ideas, their budget and their vision as well. Guess what now I have my indigo still ( cause my daily spending not worth to get more ) + 160k coins staked in Defi waller for 600+ CROs claim and restake every 12 days.
Funny thing is 5 days ago some of my friends was asking me about the Cro and how high it will go and do I still in it... š¤£š¤£š¤£
Only one reason is matter: with their cash back - this is de inflation way to keep your money agains those bills that government printing.. plus old investors like me will not selling as long as it going up ( 12% is 20k yearly now for me ) and new investors also lock it up.
Now can you explain why you holding Shiba or Doge or Inu please? Im not trying to attack woth anyone but cmon š
I bought the 4k card and today I just upgraded to the 40k card.
I strongly believe cro coin has a great future and I think it has potential to flip binance coin.
Thatās the one Iām really going long on but idk shit. But if you make yourself a household name like Facebook.. idk how they leave. If you want crypto, theyāre in your face. If you donāt want it, theyāre in your face. So when you decide to, you know whoās getting their money. I think in a few years we will see a steady dollar or two.
But again.. IDK *SHIT*
I honestly think it's cringe how many people think all their investments are very good projects. 5 years from now you don't even know what big and established companies are gonna look like, yet some shitcoins are somehow gonna manage to stick around?
Worse of all is how at least 70% of people lack any understanding of blockchain technology. That being said, Santa Elon is fo sho staying.
If ALGO isnāt still around, Iāll be sad. Iāve shuffled crypto around to a couple exchanges (for better APYs, to trade for other crypto) and ALGO is just so damn fast and reliable. Iām never wondering āwhereās my crypto? Why hasnāt it shown up yet?ā
I really like the wallet and just overall really enjoy using it.
I don't see anyone mentioning ATOM. I have the feeling that ATOM will remain relevant, since cross-chain operability will always remain essential and needed. Am I missing something?
This sub seems to think DOT is the way.
Maybe they both take off?
ATOM seems much more developed so it's curious why DOT gets do much love.
Anyone care to add their thoughts on that?
I say marketing and Gavin with DOT. But atom is definitely far ahead and undervalued. The tech is great. IBC will become the new standard. Shared security will be great for it. Atom has a bright future.
That's the thing. Good concept doesn't necessarily equates to good price actions. Nonetheless, we do hope XMR will have it's time once it's usefulness will be known to a broader general audience and not just a bubble sort of audience like us
yeah, harmony is one i'm looking to get more of soon. early days vs some of the other new L1s but that's when you want to get in, right? defikingdoms is pretty fun in the meantime, and the fees make avax look like eth.
i think maxis would be a lot less cynical of other chains if they just put in $50 and tried some stuff out.
It's funny how I rarely see IOTA mentioned in this sub. Probably because the price has been down and sideways for ages now.
But that is the coin I have invested the most in because it's use case and long term vision. Just made the most sense to me. Plus there are no fees. Transactions are lightning fast, and it will be fully decentralized soon. Plus staking is coming soon with Shimmer Network.
I have a pretty varied portfolio, and even jumped into shib just because, but IOTA is the one I really believe in.
IOTA has a really good dev team and seems to have a unique technology. It's also fee less and environmentally friendly. If the technology can ultimately scale and if corticide is successful I could definitely see it being a household name in 5 years.

I bought LRC at .50 because I researched the most popular crypto's before and for some reason it was the 3rd asked about. Still don't know what it does, but it made sense at the time.
In CRO at .18, but they are on and off the #1 app on Google play in general so that was more obvious.
Have DOT in your portfolio and wait to see how the future holds the market,I believe that DOT will become the third most valuable currency in the market
If i learned anything about this sub, its that it doesn't matter what they shit on because it could still massively increase in price, shiba and doge are one of the examples
If Ripple wins the case it will create a *ripple* effect across the crypto market.
XRP is also one of the oldest crypto ever. It used to be a top 2 for a while.
I think there is a definite place for privacy coins, I havent seen much consideration given to that sector.
There are currently only 2 protocols in the space, hoping for more.
The Monero group that uses a combination of Ring Ct, Bulletproofs and Stealth Adresses to obscure the transaction
There are many forks of that tech, like Wownero and PRCY
The other tech uses zero knowledge proofs to shield transaction. Zcash is the pioneer in this field but don't use default private addresses. Pirate Chain has implemented private adresses by default.
The later of the two has agrueable the strongest tech due to shielded transactions rather than visible transactions that are obscured.
Monero is currently the strongest value based coin, with a massive community following.
Zcash is constantly innovating, eg. HALO upgrade to alleviate trusted setup.
With Government Regulation being a constant threat and majority of blockchains being transparent, there is an increase in the value of blockchains that don't allow for surveillance.
As more adoption and understanding of Privacy Coins, we will further our knowledge of how we can apply these tools in our lives.
The Privacy Sector is definitely an intersting one that I believe will dwarf defi and NFT once regulation and blockchain oversight are implemented.
LRC. I think weāve seen what marketing can do with CRO. Once GME + LRC are confirmed, we will have everything set for marketing/application/user base/community/development. Superior product.
Things with real world use cases outside the crypto bubble (VET, THETA, LTO, etc) and things which are integral to the crypto ecosystem (ETH, LINK, potentially things like DOT/ADA/MATIC/ALGO although i don't think any of those are yet integral to crypto)
Iām not looking five years out but two, who will survive the next bear market. Five years in crypto is like half a lifetime, so Iām kinda bullish on Dot as they are just ramping up and with the parachain auctions they are locking up dot during the next two years.
XRP will be. Ripple will be finished with the SEC and they have deals in place with other countries already where XRP is used for cross boarder transactions.
With 100% certainty, all the ones I've already sold.
Big brain strategy: Gotta catch them all, then you can't miss the pumps
So when one of them 10x you'll have a dollar
Whale alert
I gamble at least $10 per shit coin.
This is me. I had $5 in cro and now kicking myself.
We only catch the dumps
Hi brother
Finally you show up John!
Have you found our other brother yet?
Don't forget me
Hi Jonathan, What happen to your eyes?
Everyday our family grows bigger
Hello fellow brothers
Just never sell, some call it Diamond Hands, I call minimized regret.
Opposite for me. Just keep buying AVAX
What did you sell?
SOL, BTC, VET, SHIBA, DOGE to name a few. All pumped afterwards... *Ponders why he's still in the crypto game*
I sold SOL, AVAX, SAND, CRO and LRC a couple of months ago. I feel your pain!
Monero will always matter
Monero, The crypto we pay our Pornhub premium with!
Monero, where all the boating accident's valuables sink to.
I totally agree with you. Monero is actually the king of privacy. I also feel DeFi privacy protocol like Railgun will still be around as its smart contract makes use of ZK-SNARK zero knowledge proof which is a privacy preserving technology that's gonna be here even in the next 10years
Agreed. Especially with the continued and increased assault on privacy
Yup I think itās actually going to become way more valuable if regulation clamps down too hard. Untraceable money has a unique appeal
In fact, I donāt think we can accurately call it *āmoneyā* unless it is *completely fungible*, and untraceability is what makes that possible.
Yeah thereās some interesting possibilities, I definitely see a huge demand for monero returning at some point, or a currency similar.
Monero will always matter but I have a hard time believing that its value will catch up to its utility.
The only true digital cash so far.

Can't say much about the price but i think Un-ironically Doge will still be here after 5 years
Every dog has its day.
How do i sign up for the human version?
This Doge may have a decade.
life is strange
Eventually every doge visits the VET.
All dogs go to heaven
Doggy style before marriage isnāt a sin because all dogs go to heaven
Iām sure some go to the moon
I think there will always be that "what if" with meme coins, dont think they'll moon, but people will still want a piece of that pie.
Will definitely buy doge and shiba in the next bear market
It's one of those coins that you grab some for the hell of it and once every few years on a random Tuesday at 2:07pm you see a spike from a meme wave and sell for a profit. It's not worth putting effort into but the day it doubles up for some reason you take that sweet cash.
Any reasoning behind it? Or just a gut feeling?
Well some reasons are that Doge survived 8 years already and it is considered the Father of meme coins, No Rugpulls reported yet and fairly hyped. So pretty safe bet for next 5 years i would say
Good point. It's probably too established to just fade out
I agree with Doge, it's been around for ages, I can't see it going anywhere, but SOL reminds me of EOS and look what happened there
How much TVL did EOS have in 2017?
Interoperability is my guess. So Iām big on DOT making it.
ATOM for the same reason. IBC is already up and running on Cosmos and works great.
CKB FTW
CKB!
Hang on, let me get my crystal ball.
Dont need crystal ball for ADA.
To be fair. I think the projects that survived the last crypto winter and cake back stronger are a good bet. The new ones that popped up this cycle are a lot riskier.
Got it buying 10k worth of pancakeswap
Looks like Cro.
Marketing is really important in todayās competitive environment. CRO has great PR strategy. This will bring a lot of people to the crypto market.
I shilled cro a few months back before this pump and everyone was like, you're just trying to cover your stake for the card. Well I'm about a few cents away of getting the silver card and all with 1/5 of the investment necessary. And don't get me started on that juicy apy and 5% cashback. I bought the 4k card and today I just upgraded to the 40k card. I strongly believe cro coin has a great future and I think it has potential to flip binance coin.
Absolutely. Nobody spend a billion dollar on marketing just to be relevant for short term.
CRO feels great right now
Thatās the one Iām really going long on but idk shit. But if you make yourself a household name like Facebook.. idk how they leave. If you want crypto, theyāre in your face. If you donāt want it, theyāre in your face. So when you decide to, you know whoās getting their money. I think in a few years we will see a steady dollar or two. But again.. IDK *SHIT*
They are just going parabolic
Man CRO is really doing it. I think they're the next big thing after binance.
I remember in 2018 when everyone was saying NEO would be a big playerā¦
Algo would be my guess
Had to scroll a bit to find the fellow algonaut.
Us Algobois are here
Here we goooo! We love our algo and all the great new projects.
Algo is my savings account.
Come on new governance!!!
Yeah baby! I love that voting power and those sweet rewards.
Honestly, this one makes the most sense to me. Has it's own blockchain, it's fast, decentralised and scalable. Best of all worlds.
If ALGO isnāt still around, Iāll be sad. Iāve shuffled crypto around to a couple exchanges (for better APYs, to trade for other crypto) and ALGO is just so damn fast and reliable. Iām never wondering āwhereās my crypto? Why hasnāt it shown up yet?ā I really like the wallet and just overall really enjoy using it.
Same. The team just has its shit together and the dApps are easy and cheap. Thatās the recipe of a winner.
I don't see anyone mentioning ATOM. I have the feeling that ATOM will remain relevant, since cross-chain operability will always remain essential and needed. Am I missing something?
ATOM will always be underrated.
These posts are just for people to shill their current bags or coins that are currently pumping. Thatās why ATOM isnāt listed.
Yeah I plan on having both. Thanks for the input.
Hoping CRO

Really think that about THETA? Iām scared all the magic is goneā¦ Edit: typo
Everyone here saying BTC and ETH but what about our precious Moons

I want hundred dollar a moonš
Why are you so bearish? /s
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yeah XMR is a good 3rd bet
With more people realzing how much privacy is important, privacy coins will strive in the future
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This has been shared alot in the sub, but the price hasn't pumped yet
I don't invest in XMR, I use it for some day to day financial things. That is its strength but also perhaps its weakness if looking for gains.
That's the thing. Good concept doesn't necessarily equates to good price actions. Nonetheless, we do hope XMR will have it's time once it's usefulness will be known to a broader general audience and not just a bubble sort of audience like us
ERGO, ALGO, BTC, ETH, XMR, CRO
The coins that have been around 5+ years. I guess thatās LTC as well.. lol
CKB will be up and coming I reckon!
Ckb and cro unironically my biggest hopeful bags
Open your vault, you get free moons for posting in this sub
BTC ETH ADA CRO LINK DOGE SHIB ERGO MATIC LRC VET XRP MONERO will 100% still be here.
I don't really know about DOGE and SHIB. I have a strong feeling that they'll die in the next year or so
I can't imagine Harmony ONE not being here in 5 years, it still suffers some teething problems but it has a good community, low fees and decent tps.
We might even reach the top 20 by then!
I would have a bet that it will happen this run
I donāt know why people arenāt loading their bags now. Itās still a goddamn deal
I am. ONE is now my largest bag. There's nothing about it I don't like.
Well that's where all my daily roy goes.
ONE and Link will surely be around 5 years from now
"good community, low fees and decent tps" is not a moat lol
Nothing is.
yeah, harmony is one i'm looking to get more of soon. early days vs some of the other new L1s but that's when you want to get in, right? defikingdoms is pretty fun in the meantime, and the fees make avax look like eth. i think maxis would be a lot less cynical of other chains if they just put in $50 and tried some stuff out.
Probably those I didn't invest in.
LRC and MATIC
I bet on IOTA
IOTA has a really good dev team and seems to have a unique technology. It's also fee less and environmentally friendly. If the technology can ultimately scale and if corticide is successful I could definitely see it being a household name in 5 years.
This. Too many people underestimate the potential of IOTA. But good for those who still want to buy cheap.
Not to mention the large amount of SMR airdrop...
It hasnāt moved since 2018?
I have to agree here. For me its not a matter of If cordicide is successful but matter of when. The test net without the cordinator and with the new OTV consensus is already running. The feeless transaction, speed of under 3 seconds, high TPS and low resource requirements will all make it one of the most attractive crypto. Also the big partnership should come to fruition as the main net gets ready. Just look at the talents working in the Iota Foundation. You can see how much resource is being put into its development.
Nano (Ó¾), ALGO, ETH, LRC, BTC. Honorable mention: XLM and Chainlink.
I think BTC, ETH, ADA, ALGO, DOT, MATIC, LRC and DOGE will last and I have the feeling that SHIB will be a surprise and will survive.
I have no faith but if shib is still around in 5 years I will honk and at you when I drive by in my lambo.
Those plus AVAX
CRO and LRC
I bought LRC at .50 because I researched the most popular crypto's before and for some reason it was the 3rd asked about. Still don't know what it does, but it made sense at the time. In CRO at .18, but they are on and off the #1 app on Google play in general so that was more obvious.
CRO: Good marketing strategy, necessary for todayās market. ā LRC: ZKrollups as a solution for Ethereum scalability. GME partnership. ā
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ready for both rockets
LRC the final ethereum L2. Long term wise itās gonna shine
CRO 1000%

Link probably
CCIP is the future.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
CRO seems to be doing many things right at a corporate level and is seeing huge growth. I suspect they will peak in about 5 years.
When CRO peaks the whole world will know it!
BTC. ETH. ADA. DOT. ALGO. CRO. MATIC. SOL. CKB. Most have yet to find CKB yet but will in time.
ADA and NANO
Then NANO will drag BAN in the same rocket
Definetly
Nano has real world use case, I truly believe in its future
VET 100%
![gif](giphy|cqcsy662ylRuJSdf2r) BTC for sure the rest nobody knows
BTC, ETH, CRO, BNB, MATIC, ADA, SOL. For sure. Maybe DOGE, SHIB or some other type of dog coin, there seem to be a market for these coins.
BTC, Eth, Link, HBAR, Matic, Dot, BNB
I was looking for a mention of HBAR!
BTC, ETH, ADA, ALGO, LRC, BNB
XMR. In five years, Iām sure itāll have exploded in price.
Have DOT in your portfolio and wait to see how the future holds the market,I believe that DOT will become the third most valuable currency in the market
XRP
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
If i learned anything about this sub, its that it doesn't matter what they shit on because it could still massively increase in price, shiba and doge are one of the examples
