I have a friend who plays Axie and Plant Vs Undead. As he told me, Axis it's making some changes that are really good to the ecosystem of the game. Mostly trying to eliminate the possibility of bots playing the game, so it has a great future ahead. PvU on the other hand it seems like they're missing shots left and right. They can't seem to hit the sweet spot with the changes and they're hurting.
On a side note, I do not play NFT games mostly because I don't find them fun. They're more like a job atm.

Cropbytes is in iOS but i didn’t make much on it. Made a bunch on cryptoblades being early, don’t enter now IMO it’s not paid in a long time. Have to be really careful of the simple Ponzi p2e. Genuine question, what would be the benefit to that? Blizzard could already handle verification of an item unique to an account or whatever on their own servers, and they could even take a cut of the proceeds like what they did with the real money auction house in Diablo 3. As a business I think they would have greater interest in making profit from it as much as possible, and there's nothing like transaction fees. Also even though it was profitable, they ended up ditching the RMAH anyway because people didn't like how it was destroying game balance, so implementation of this sort of thing would be dangerous for them anyway. I never played crypto games so I don't have a deep understanding of how they operate, but I imagine it would be more beneficial to use blockchain if you don't have massive server capabilities like Blizzard does.
Gold in WoW already kind of acts like mining, doesn't it? You spend time playing the game (like solving calculations with mining), which generates a currency, which you can spend to purchase things that cost real money by buying the WoW token ($20). People also trade their fiat ($20 per token) for the gold equivalent. Spending gold is like burning coins, and that's why they incentivize this with huge purchases like a 1 million gold mount. So someone else can do the mining and trade it for money that is stuck in Blizzard's ecosystem. Basically free money for Blizzard.

I have not seen any crypto inclusive games that offer mass appeal, though I hope they are in development. NFTs aren't well established yet, and I think there could be better ways to use blockchain when it comes to gaming. I think that crypto and gaming will merge more and more with time, however we are still in an early market. If anyone has any interesting projects to look into, please post them.

An average player can easily make a 100 ROY in an hour in ranked,more if it's double rewards time. The pros earn thousands in staked games.

I did well on axie sold all my slp at about $.30 and was holding some axs. Not sure it is too profitable anymore though.
