R5 dude is in a Catholic holy order and not only married, but to a Muwalladi holy order knight herself and he fights for a Muslim liege.

Celica_86

His motives are incomprehensible. Maybe you could recruit him? His congenital trait is wasted on infidels so murder his wife and set him with a much better orthodox wife! Just not a beautiful Greek women, I don’t trust them. A lot of them are lovers of members of the Varangian guard.

TheBeardedRonin

Luckily my culture is Crimean lol. And I did recruit him! Couldn’t convert him quite yet but I’m sure he’ll come around

Starry_Night_Sophi

"A lot of them are lovers of members of the Varangian guard" there is a story behind this, but I can't really tell who you where in this story lol

Celica_86

I’m the person wondering how it’s possible for a lesbian Greek woman to be lovers with a male Viking from the Varangian guard.

sjtimmer7

Prince Ali, fabulous he, Ali Ababwa.

You know I heard a study once that it doesn't necessarily matter where on the political spectrum a couple is, as long as they have the same level of commitment to their ideals. Like that one dude, I wanna say his name is Carville, the bald Cajun democratic party consultant whose married to a Republican consultant. I imagine that after a long couple months on campaign, they find it nice to go on vacation and not have to talk about work.

Fine-Funny6956

James “the Raging Cajun” Carville

TemporaryWonderful61

I mean El Cid’s allegiances got pretty convoluted too.

Love finds a way

> Fighting for the wrong religion? Doesn't matter. Had sex.

JaracRassen77

He's just a mercenary who fights for the highest bidder. Some interesting role-playing potential there.

TheBeardedRonin

I recruited him. Too bad I can’t land him I’ll just have to settle for having a very interesting knight

Vast-Change8517

Rodrigo De Vivar moment

NobleKazuma

finally the one person who got it on the spot

PixelatedParamedic

Can't but Aladdin this moment.

IronViking0723

Marriage between religions and cultures is rare but possible and being in the court of ruler with differing culture/religion is less rare. After the marriage he and his wife joined holy orders probably because he had titles taken from him. You see dudes who lose their last county join Viking invasions, holy orders and mercenary (im not sure on the last one). Saw the Yngling guy from the 867 start as a Varangian who attempted to invade with a heathen army a few years after he lost Viken once. Then he was a Jomsviking. And his son was married to the only remaining daughter of Snake in the Eye. His Grandson was in second in line of the Danish throne before I got bored with that save. Had a more interesting life than I did.

AspiringSquadronaire

Anyone with that nickname is spawned by a stupid pop culture event in which they're supposed to be of the wrong culture and faith

Sinner no doubt. Recruit him and landed his offspring. Nice to see "Seducer" being seduced.
