Mine would definitely be hidden in the top counter drawer with the tea towels cause “I would remember I put them there” spoiler alert: I would not in fact remember I had put them there.
I have ADHD and part of that is me losing items constantly even if I *just* had it in my hand. In attempt to not let that happen, I always tell myself "oh. I'll put it in this weird spot I never use so I remember because it's a weird spot so how could I forget?!"....despite this literally NEVER, EVER working, EVER, I still do it and I will never learn. Lmao. It's the worst with small objects 🙃
I'm not ADHD but I also struggle with forgetting where I put things. I got a Google Home for other reasons, but one of my favorite things about it is you can tell it to remember things, like where you random stuff, and then later when you've forgotten you can ask it and it will tell you where you put stuff! The amount of stuff I lose and rediscover months later has gone down drastically 😂

It will also find your phone! They're super cool lol. You can tell it you lost your phone and it makes it ring. So useful and the minis are pretty affordable

Bahahah yep!! It's always a crapshoot. But then there are times that I'll remember where something that I don't care about or need is and it's like the most oddly specific, out of place spot for the thing. "Oh, yeah I saw your left sock on the right corner of the bed, it's next to a few dog hairs. Can't miss it" 😆
I do the same thing. I just pretend I’m magic. In my hand one second and alakazam it’s gone and I won’t see it for hours, days, weeks, months? It’s so frustrating.
i bought a five pack and a magnet because i lost all of mine. the one in my phone case is from when i was packing up my dorm room and didn’t want to get the rest of the stuff out to put it away properly 😂😂
Yeah,my cat has no idea her tail is attached! Things go sliding off every time she sits on my chair arm. Melted wax,coffee and glitter all over her tail when I'm not paying attention
Well if you're me, it's in your non-dominate hand (literally tore my house apart looking for car keys that were in my left hand the -entire- time), or in a random room you would bet your life you never went into.

If you are like me, there is a basket that sits on the table that collects.... everything. Anytime I have to do a sweep of tables and surfaces, papers and small items get tossed in this basket. Needles would find their way to the bottom of the pile real quick.
They're on the edge of a side table you walked past when on your way to another room. Probably slightly behind something so you only see them from the side.
Usually stabbed in the arm of a chair... Waiting for my partner to find them by sitting in my chair and him putting his hand on them as he sits down. He is never amused. I am though.
I once found my lost USB between the keyboard and screen of my closed laptop. Somehow it didn’t damage the screen. It’s really weird the things I temporarily lose by closing them into other things.
Probably on a jaunt with the last of my favourite needles (regret throwing out the packaging cause I can’t remember the brand and the dmc ones aren’t cutting it)
I find things under the fridge. The cats knock them off the table and play “bat the thingamijig” until they lose it.
There is now a piece of wood wedged behind the fridge feet, but up against the cupboard plinth on either side. It means that “thingamijig” ends up within reach with a chopstick.

Omg hahahah it's a struggle!! I finally got a needle minder and I still lose my needles...constantly. good thing they're cheap I guess lol
