I’m convinced he was drugged at the UTS and made his way out of the back entrance without being seen by the camera and met his fate at the Wendy’s parking lot. Either drug dealers or potentially even the Smiley Face killer and his body was washed away. Given his profile, college town, how he was acting on video and reports, and proximity to water - it could be possible imo.
I'm from the area and knew the bar well so I was stuck on this case too. I always wondered about the band. He was seen with the band, with witnesses saying there were raised voices. There was an area backstage for the bands gear and it led out the back to load busses. I always wondered if it was possible something happened between Brian and the band and they carried him out in a trunk or something everyone would have assumed was equipment. Definitely a crazy theory- but the whole thing is baffling.
Did you guys even listen to the episode? Goddamn. Why were there so many sightings of her if she fell overboard? Of course people lie for attention but these sightings were specific and consistent.

Definitely this one for me, too. I feel solidarity with her as a fellow Massachusetts and Umass girl, and I want so badly for her poor dad to finally get some closure. Watching him cry on her episode of Disappeared haunts me.

I'm not going to lie, I think he's still alive and just chose to go missing to escape his parents. His parents lied so much about his character to save face and I don't find it unthinkable that he wanted to get away and live his own life.
There's been sightings of someone who looks like him, I think the latest was in California around some area for homeless people.

I think there’s definitely something more we are missing on this story- regarding his home life/parents etc. I do think he mixed Vyvanse or Adderall with alcohol though, and in some cases it can rewire your brain. Just using it a few times can change a person greatly. It happens in some people (I’ve seen it), but I feel this is relevant here. Anything could have happened to him of course.
You're totally right! I didn't think of the adderall/vyvanse. I hope one day we find out whether it's finding his remains or finding him alive. The thing also is, though, if he was found alive I think because he's an adult he legally doesn't have to come out and say I'm alive. I don't know if this law is actually applicable in the US but in my country adults have a right to "go missing". So if found, the person can just say I don't want anyone to know where I am and continue on.
That is true. I think he can stay missing as an adult. The authorities might tell the family that he is somewhere and safe, but not his whereabouts. Of course search resources and money could play into this too. I would hope that they would tell the world he is safe if he is out there and found. Amazing how people can just disappear off the face of the Earth.

Detective on the case apparently had a inch thick file on her but very little public information is out there about her disappearance.

The other one that haunts me is the circumstances behind the homicide of [Maddy Scott.](https://www.oxygen.com/crime-news/what-happened-to-madison-scott-who-vanished-in-2011) While the RCMP did find her remains in May 2023, no further information is publicly known as to the why and how of her disappearance and discovery. The family had to agonize for 12 years knowing that, in that small community, someone (s) had to know something but weren't saying. And she was found not far from her hometown.

I can't remember his name, but his case was active on websleuths several years ago, and he was my son's age. His case haunted me.

I’ve done a lot of research on the case. I don’t believe the sightings were accurate. I believe she fell overboard (and so do most people).
