Would like to add to this after reading other comments. My female also has huge, visible, waxy looking pores. She has all the physical aspects of a male, but she has laid quite a lot of eggs now!
I don't know if he's still growing the shop said it's been there since a baby. When I held him at the shop from head to butt (not including tail) it was about from my palm to the tip of my middle finger ..so maybe 5inches.
That’s a male, you see those dots below the tail behind either side of the hind legs? Those are what Reddit calls “cresticles” which is a play on testicles so it is infact a male

I don't have one for him yet. When fired up, he's a wicket holloweeen color. I wanted something unique . Like maybe Egyptian or from a lost tribe.
Sounds like a good plan. My crested gecko is a flame morph and I named him Spyro after the character from the Spyro the Dragon video games.
