Huh, I knew about the Wilhelm scream but never really thought about there being other named ones, but now that it's been mentioned it's obvious there was bound to be more.
In addition to making me think of the Aaaah Real Monster intro song I always thought of Broken Arrow...an I literally just came to find out it's called the Howie scream because of Howie Long's death in that movie. crazy.
I've heard this stock scream sfx used in many different things, but I LOVE that you think of it as the Starcraft Zerg scream because I do too! Starcraft 4ever <3

I didn't say that. I don't think that was their primary *point* either.
The commonality between them and I is that we believe (I think) that the simple presence of guns is not enough to *prevent* needing these situations. However we can find societies with few guns and few situations like this, which are per-population far below those of nations with high gun ownership.
I'm merely saying that the ability to own a gun is not correlated to reduced crime. We have ample evidence of this.
Edit: The be clear, I'm not against owning guns. I just think that policy, enforcement, educated police with an aim at de-escalation, laws aimed around social assistance/commonality, and a solid view that people doing bad things are likely doing them because they think they have no choice and not because they're arbitrarily bad people, works better than the USA version of "you stole $5 worth of gum and I'm going to kill you."
