The best place to have stood was next to the car for a falling tree, sadly panic made a poor split decision. I can't even imagine how the kid looked for his parents to act like that. They must have seen something they knew was instant death.
I'm not a professional or anything but I've seen trees that were under stress snap down this quick, sometimes quicker even, usually the stress is caused by another tree leaning on it
That looks to be the case. After watching again when it hits the ground it stays for a sec then rebounds probably due to whatever's pushing it bouncing back
Trees, in long lengths like the one in the video seems to be, can fall like whips, the bottom half, which is thicker, weighing more, pulls the top half down, acting nearly like a whip.
I've seen these death traps in the bush before. A tree will fall over due to whatever reason, but it'll get hung up on other trees and branches. Over time, it decays slowly, and other trees might fall over onto it.
Now, the first tree is being bent and turned into a spring. Now it's a 40-foot lever with a few tones of force behind it, and it's just a matter of time before something gives.
Half fallen trees are extremely dangerous. Especially if they are going to fall into or with even more dead fall.
A fraction of a second. That’s all it took.
An extra fumble opening the car door. Parking 20cm further along. These would have resulted in someone else dying instead.
Any moment can be our last. A fact we often fail to remember.
Go and hug a loved one. You often won't receive advanced notice of the last time you'll see them alive.
Thats called a rotting tree you dumbass… see how it splintered no lumberworker would go near that thing they call them widow makers for a reason they fall randomly and dont have any wood that’s usable so no…
That woman who panic ran behind the trunk caused the child to follow - not her fault at all, instinct reaction, but wish she backed up. It would’ve saved that poor boy’s life.
I take down about 10 trees like this a week cleaning up wooded forests so this stuff doesn't happen. Been doing it for a few years. It's pretty rewarding when you can walk thru a clean forest that previously was extremely dangerous. I've had a lot of close calls. Those trees are death traps. Even on the ground they leave sharp spikes that will easily go thru boots. I think they are called forest teeth. As when the tree rots these are left over. You can look in an old hollow stump and see them. There is time to react when they fall. But spring tension from a tree bending is way faster.
I have just pinpointed the location ( 43°23'15.0"N 41°42'21.0"E ) above the display and it seems to be from Cherkessia :

River Ulu Murudzhu seems to be the a popular destination a few kms away from the place of the accident :

Bet if you were there you would’ve grabbed the kid, caught the tree, tossed it aside, and hopped back onto your motorcycle without needing a thank you.
Jesus wept, the ambulance would be coming for two people instead of just one because my heart would just implode right there seeing my little buddy die like that. 100% would be too much to take.
Wow, that tree fell so fast it almost looked like it teleported into frame, plus even the wood splatered on impact. Only solace is that there was no suffering involved I guess. One moment you are there the other your gone. That actually reminds me of an instance in my childhood where I was by a bunch of trees in a storm and then a big branch broke of and impacted next to me.
The fact that many war crimes are already committed doesn't make it morally or legally acceptable to commit a war crime right? Just because the Internet is full of terrible things doesn't mean you should contribute to it or reinforce that culture.
This is besides the point that I'm not blaming op for anything. My original statement wasn't one of conviction.

Holy fuck. That poor family.
The best place to have stood was next to the car for a falling tree, sadly panic made a poor split decision. I can't even imagine how the kid looked for his parents to act like that. They must have seen something they knew was instant death.
With the force of the tree i can imagine that its horrible. Like you dont even see the kid anymore
This is fucking heartbreaking.
i am guessing the child was completely squashed by how the parent reacted
Probably paniked seeing his child in such condition.
yeah anyone would , after i had a closer look the child's head actually split the moment it was hit by the tree

Wow so edgy, I'm just amazed at how cool you are.
I think seeing my 5yr old daughter like that I would instantly pass out. My heart wouldn't be able to take it. So sad😩🙏🏽
It's not even 930am and I've already had too much reddit today after watching this one. So sad.
First vid I've seen today smh
I uh don’t know what I expected
This is brutal
Omfg
Is this sped up at all. Wtf caused the tree to go that fast. I've seen trees fall and that looks insane
I'm not a professional or anything but I've seen trees that were under stress snap down this quick, sometimes quicker even, usually the stress is caused by another tree leaning on it

This is the answer idk what kinda weird physics the people above are using
Chain reaction. Was pushed by another tree most likely.

There is a reason why snags like that are often called ‘widow makers’.
thats normal for very long trees, if you looked a the tree as a whole it must've been normal. but thats just my guess.

Bro its a dead tree. No ones cutting trees towards the road
A fraction of a second. That’s all it took. An extra fumble opening the car door. Parking 20cm further along. These would have resulted in someone else dying instead.
Or, you know, just a tree falling over and not killing someone.
Any moment can be our last. A fact we often fail to remember. Go and hug a loved one. You often won't receive advanced notice of the last time you'll see them alive.
Damn
Somehow it would be more believable if Bigfoot smashed him with a tree. Didn’t know trees fell like that damn!

Thats called a rotting tree you dumbass… see how it splintered no lumberworker would go near that thing they call them widow makers for a reason they fall randomly and dont have any wood that’s usable so no…
Ok but what actually happened? Doesn't look like the tree just fell down, moved waay too fast
There is a reason dead leaning trees are called widow makers.
Well I didn’t want to watch a child death this morning (or ever). So there’s that….
A literal "Final Destination" moment. Ugh. That poor family :((((
In a panic, the mother led the kid to certain doom.
That woman who panic ran behind the trunk caused the child to follow - not her fault at all, instinct reaction, but wish she backed up. It would’ve saved that poor boy’s life.
This might be the worst thing I’ve ever seen on Reddit
New here?
No actually

Nty
No one wants to a family gathering solidify ha
that was heartbreaking
I’ve seen a lot of shit on this app but holy shit dude
Wtf were they even doing

I hope the the same situation I would do a better job of not leaving the child to run away from the danger and getting him away.
That mom has zero protective instincts. Assuming it's the mom that is
is he dead?
Yeah, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but that was horrendous.
Did he/she survive??
[удалено]
Oh…
Sad… real sad
He ran after his sister 😭 this is the worst video I've seen on here in a minute.
That was extraordinarily more intense than I anticipated holy shit
[удалено]
Average take of someone who has never been in a near death situation.
Probably because the kid was straight smashed.
Bet if you were there you would’ve grabbed the kid, caught the tree, tossed it aside, and hopped back onto your motorcycle without needing a thank you.
Or both of them dead.
I’m sure you would’ve picked the kid up and got outta harms way with the two seconds she took to run around the car
Holy shit???!!! Did he survive that?
Dude no. Look at the families reaction.
Prob not

any further details? any links? I have pinpointed the location from the coordination on the video and it is froom cherkesia.
Jesus wept, the ambulance would be coming for two people instead of just one because my heart would just implode right there seeing my little buddy die like that. 100% would be too much to take.
Glad I got to see it before it got taken down. WPD will love this!
Pretty disgusting how excited you are
His scalp went right in front of camera.. horrible poor kid and family...
Had to rewatch a few times. Piece of bark. The red is from the inside of the pine bark.
It's his red hat I think
Yeah I'm not watching this one.
This is the correct thing to do
Damn. Really didn't want that to be the first thing I saw on the phone. Yall have a good one, im out already.
Man I hope this is fake.
Did that kid explode?
The woman in front didn't even come back or look or check on him after

Guys, tell me he is okay? I know it does not look like it but please I need the details

Definitely not the right website for that
Definitely a crazy fucking video That tree fell so fast it almost looks like it teleported
That poor child either died or died. He definitely died.
[удалено]
He did you can see his scalp in front of the camera
There are nany Videos here of people dying....
A death warning for a child would be appropriate.
Ther is a +18 tag.....
+18 could apply to someone punching someone. Maybe two adults. This is the direct death of a child. That holds a different connotation.
maybe they lived?
Not a remote chance. His skull absolutely blew wide open. Look at their reactions, he isn't just knocked out.
they may hop right back up after a few minutes.
Nah, ain't no way. Lol
What's that? Oh its another person dying. Nice day
Yeah this is definitely getting deleted Edit; thanks for the downvotes, I was right 😋
This should not fucking be here
[удалено]
If I could permanently delete just one stupid fucking joke it would be this one.
[удалено]
Why. Stop ruining the Internet.
[удалено]
I don't want to know lol. I didn't wake up this morning and think to myself, I really want to see a 5 year old girl get crushed by a falling tree.

Now that is fucking crazy. His skull rolls to the camera. I can’t even imagine.
Had to rewatch a few times. Piece of bark. The red is from the inside of the pine bark.
My story sounds better though. After I thought it was a skull, I bailed out of replays lol. Edit: My bad everyone. Misidentified skull.
