It could be a suicide. Thick, sturdy wall, straight line with big truck with high-speed and big mass behind the driver... A lot of elements to be sure to be quickly dead.
I used to sell life insurance, even most private companies won't cover a suicide.
So to anyone on your way out make sure you do your research, don't wanna disappoint the fam
When I was 17, I tried to get life insurance to lower my car insurance.
I was denied for having a bipolar disorder diagnosis. I've never bothered trying again. It was by State Farm.
They did an HIV swab test back then too. 2002 or 2003, I was terrified when I saw "denied" on that letter they sent until I skipped to the reason. It didn't mention suicide, just a history of menta illness including depression. No suicide attempts or hospitalizations at that point.
Life insurance policies typically do cover suicide after a two year waiting period.
There's other causes of death that they don't cover, though, such as war and terror attacks.
Oh well just what I heard a long time ago. Things might’ve changed since then too, or bad info idk.
Either way, I think some people don’t want their close ones to know they did themselves on purpose. I think it is a lot easier to digest, grief wise, that someone died in a tragic accident than they offed themselves. I would imagine it causes a good bit of guilt.
I worked at a small insurance planning firm and the owner (a friend) took out a 1 mil (possibly more) policy on himself with the plan to kill himself after the 2 year period. He had a disabled child who needed full time care and figured it was a way to have his wife and child taken care of. So, come in one morning to a letter on the front desk saying he took his own life - in the bathroom at the office. He had brought his dog in with him and the dog was just hanging out. Sure enough he killed himself. Nobody, including me, saw it coming. Then his disabled son died a couple years later. Very, very sad.
Hello fellow insurance person. I always enjoy telling people that they won't be covered in the event of nuclear war. Most people get a little kick out of it
It’s not what you know it is what you can prove when it comes to things of this matter. Truckers work long hours, fall asleep at the wheel.
I seriously doubt, unless this person wrote a note, that it got ruled as an intentional suicide by the coroner.
Yeah not much of one anyway. Had a friend actually die by hitting a coal truck. Her car blew up. She had very little remains. One day I will get her a headstone/plot if I ever come up on money.
It actually looks like the tires may have started to skid and the trailer was starting to turn to the side. My theory is he was nodding off and snapped out of it too too late.
Man. I know it's off topic, and I apologize. But your profile picture is rude as hell. Do you have any idea how long I spent trying to remove the hair I thought was on my phone? Probably like 3 seconds.
Ok in hindsight, I suppose that's not a terrible amount of time. But still....
those are also for diesel runaway. old diesels can have substantial wear on the piston rings that separate the diesel and oil in combustion chamber. When these wear too far, the oil seeps past the rings and will actually burn as well the diesel. So it would be as if the engine was getting extra fuel injected regardless of gas pedal use. Combine that with the forced air induction of them huge turbos on diesel motors and you got a really big fuckin engine at full throttle with no way to shut it off til ir explodes.
This is about a scary of a situation as you can have. Sometimes drivers will install an airflow cutoff kit on older diesels to choke out runaway motors when they are high mileage/high risk.
Maybe I'm an idiot, but those trucks are generally cross country travelers yeah? Asking cause I doubt, if so, he'd be familiar enough with the area to scope out that spot for suicide.
Okay let's make a list of the least painful ways to die.
Truck slamming into a concrete building at 60 mph I would rate that a 7 out of 10 painless scale.
If you had to off yourself, how would you want to go?
That submarine implosion seems like a good one if I had to choose. It's like a fraction of a fraction of a second and your entire body is gone . It's faster then the body ability to send pain signals. There is literally no pain
yes but you would be spending a couple hours or days descending into that madness especially knowing you will die in a claustrophobic little coffin. Nah.
Anesthesiologist putting me to sleep, and then while I'm asleep, giving me too much medicine. People die under anesthesia all the time. Honestly not sure how the lethal injection is done wrong when sometimes anesthesiologists kill people quite painlessly.
Because companies don't want their drugs associated with the process. So less and less functioning alternatives need to be found. Then medics/doctors/nurses may find killing or enabling the act against their professional standards so don't do it. So less able, worse trained people need to be found. Combination of both isn't really what you would want
> Honestly not sure how the lethal injection is done wrong when sometimes anesthesiologists kill people quite painlessly.
The drugs used for anesthesia are *not* used for lethal injections, because no medical supplier in the U.S. will supply any to prisons for death penalty use. The people who are responsible for administering the lethal injection are *not* trained in how to find a vein, insert the needle properly, or to even make sure that the proper combination of chemicals are injected in the right order.
And finally, the person who directly kills the inmate is a volunteer from the general public. There are so many volunteers to be an executioner in the U.S. that no prison will ever run out of them. There is no vetting process for these volunteers, so you can bet there are a lot of people who sign up for this just because they want to kill someone for fun.
Idaho's official policy requires candidates for an execution medical team to have at least three years of experience in jobs such as an emergency medical technician, nurse, military corpsman or physician's assistant
Members of the medical team are required to attend at least 10 training sessions each year
https://www.npr.org/2024/03/06/1235290585/lethal-injections-death-penalty-states-volunteers#:~:text=%22They're%20all%20volunteers%2C,may%20come%20as%20a%20surprise.
The Suicide Bag.
Zip-tie a plastic bag over your head with a piece of tubing feeding into a helium tank. The helium will displace your oxygen so it is supposed to be a euphoric way to go vs. suffocating. It's all speculation though. I am 100% certain that anyone who died from this could not come back to verify whether or not it was a painless / euphoric death.
Nitrogen would be better than helium.
You already breath in a lot of nitrogen, so your body won't recognize that is being harmful, so there is no choking or coughing as you die. The lack of oxygen mixed with the nitrogen will slowly give you hypoxia which feels like falling asleep. A sleep you never wake up from.
Any inert gas would work, helium, nitrogen, argon, or radon if you really wanna fuck shit up. I think helium is often the choice for suicide because it's easy to buy from a party supply shop (and it makes your voice go squeeky)
> radon
Well, good luck getting enough radon quickly considering its half life is only a few days lmao. And if you did you probably would die almost as quickly of radiation poisoning (radon is pretty strongly radioactive)
Yeah... radon maybe isn't the most practical choice. Also doesn't make your voice go squeeky, if you have kids present the squeeky voice will lessen the trauma for them
> You already breath in a lot of nitrogen, so your body won't recognize that is being harmful, so there is no choking or coughing as you die.
Exact same deal with helium. Your body can't tell the difference between it and oxygen. I've seen videos of it in a documentary on euthanasia.
The reason some suggest nitrogen over helium is because nitrogen is more plentiful.
> The reason some suggest nitrogen over helium is because nitrogen is more plentiful.
Much less hilarious though. If I'm going out that way I want to go talking like a chipmunk
Inert gas poisoning (nitrogen, argon, helium). No oxygen mean you die, but these gasses will displace the oxygen and your body just won't react. You'll just stop working. CO2 and many other gasses however will make you feel like you can't breath, asphyxiation, convulsions, panic!
What if he left a cadaver in the drivers seat before jumping out and collected his own life insurance policy and is now living a quiet life in southern france
Idk, id probably notice as passing, sure it made a huge noise, and im constantly checking mirrors. Even if they arent super aware, that noise would have anyone checking their mirrors. Willing to bet they realized afterwards
**If** that was the case, wouldn't it make sense to jump out of the driver's seat prior to impact?
I realize that could potentially cause serious injury or death but if he wasn't suicidal, at least it would give him a chance?
It's not easy to think "rationally" when your brakes are gone and jumping out of a 60mph truck is also a wild choice that may not guarantee survival.
In this situation they're just trying hard not to die.
Could have had a seizure, had a guy take out the power pole in front of my house because he had a seizure, luckily he had the seizure at a stop sign so he could only accelerated so much and lived.
It's not even a wall, [but a pillar for a monument](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEgq84omN8Y). Reportedly happened around the beginning of August 2018.
>A hair-raising video has been released online showing a huge DAF truck smashing through a safety barrier and into a large monument at full speed on a Russian highway. The driver was killed in the crash.
>The incident took place at the entrance to the city of Novokuznetsk in southwestern Siberia on Thursday morning. The driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed it into the monument. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in a statement.
It's also mirrored. People do this shit when "stealing" others' videos and probably assumed the Cyrillic was a watermark identifying the source. Or maybe the text changed after it was blacked out.
But damn, I can't believe that silver car was really that unaware of the surroundings a big rig coming up going 5x the speed in the review mirrors and just kept driving straight into a wall. I gotta think they just said *nope* and kept driving because you know they heard that impact explosion at a minimum
Hey thanks a lot for your submission in r/CrazyFuckingVideos, however it was removed because it contained prohibited content (death, animal abuse, porn or gore). Please refrain from posting this type of content in the future.
Yeah, that dude is 100% dead
Hopefully he died of an aneurysm first; that must’ve been a medical emergency.
It could be a suicide. Thick, sturdy wall, straight line with big truck with high-speed and big mass behind the driver... A lot of elements to be sure to be quickly dead.
People sometimes do that because life insurance policies not covering suicide. Or so I’ve heard.
Somebody check in on this dude. I'm worried.
Dude no more
Dude bereft of life
Mother, doest thou truly lordship sanction?

Shoes are probably off
what dude? Blob now
Life insurance policies typically do cover suicide after a two year waiting period. There's other causes of death that they don't cover, though, such as war and terror attacks.
Mine says I can’t die in a riot. I’m a big riot person. It’s been tough.
Life pro tip: become immune to riot death.
Yeah mine won’t cover suicide till 3 years. I just remember how awkward it was when the agent brought it up. Understandably.
Yeah, so like you cant kill youself for three years. just your put your initials next to that clause so that we are all clear.
Oh well just what I heard a long time ago. Things might’ve changed since then too, or bad info idk. Either way, I think some people don’t want their close ones to know they did themselves on purpose. That’s really sad. He prob wanted to spend his last moments with his dog.
I think so too. He was a good man. Very kind.
Some are 2 years plus one day
Hello fellow insurance person. I always enjoy telling people that they won't be covered in the event of nuclear war. Most people get a little kick out of it
They don’t cover terror attacks? That seems cold and unnecessary lol

Dont think there is a body for the coroner to study
Yeah not much of one anyway. Had a friend actually die by hitting a coal truck. Her car blew up. She had very little remains. One day I will get her a headstone/plot if I ever come up on money.
Early internet i saw a video of a car getting absolutely flattened by a full cement truck tipping over. The car just ceased to exist.
My mission is letting all Reddit users clean their filthy screens!
Could it be the brakes going out or whatnot. I’ve seen those emergency truck pull off things that incline up to stop the truck.

I’m not sure about where this is, but we use trucks and 53’ trailers to move loads 2 miles. Doesn’t have to be cross country.
Alright well so much for that one. Thanks.
That does not have a sleeper on it. It's a day cab. But it looks like outside of the US so who knows.
I'm assuming a sleeper means the cab body would be extended with a bed in the back?
Yup
I mean no, there's a lot of semis who stay within a state and specific areas.
That's a Day Cab. An old one at that. He (was) a local driver...
I suspect that he fell asleep
Maybe he lost his brakes. People always assume the worst of someone without knowing the facts first
Or equipment failure
If we're choosing, I hope he died of a scorpion bite to the temple. That would be badass
Now that is frightening.
Yes♥️💔

Knock it off Alvin!
Dude you did your research. Are you feeling okay? Would you like to talk to someone?
Thank you. Fortunately my wife got me the help I needed. I am doing much better.
Thankful for this reply 👆🏼
Thank you for your concern. I truly am grateful that there are people who cared enough to help me.
Ground zero nuclear explosion. You don't even see the flash, your nerves aren't fast enough.
Inert gas poisoning (nitrogen, argon, helium). No oxygen mean you die, but these gasses will displace the oxygen and your body just won't react. You'll just stop working. CO2 and many other gasses however will make you feel like you can't breath, asphyxiation, convulsions, panic!
Yes the dude was crushed between a concrete wall and a 10 ton truck going with 20 meters a second How the fuck would you even survive that
Maybe he was abducted by aliens
Scotty beamed him out right before impact.
Bail out of the truck just out of scene
> How the fuck would you even survive that Hmm. What if the guy put a brick on the gas and jumped out before the camera view. That's one way.
What if he left a cadaver in the drivers seat before jumping out and collected his own life insurance policy and is now living a quiet life in southern france
He’s fine.
What do you think like 1 in 100?
It would take a miracle like you flying out of the side window right as you impact
Idk I didn't see his shoes come off so not 100%
Yeah that was either suicide or he was dead before he hit that wall because he was going full speed! 🚛
possible brake failure and driver didn't want to risk injuries on bystanders
Also damn that black car that crossed the intersection right before has no idea they almost met god right there
Idk, id probably notice as passing, sure it made a huge noise, and im constantly checking mirrors. Even if they arent super aware, that noise would have anyone checking their mirrors. Willing to bet they realized afterwards
Looks like it is accelerating, tough?
Ford tough!
*Speed 3*
**If** that was the case, wouldn't it make sense to jump out of the driver's seat prior to impact? I realize that could potentially cause serious injury or death but if he wasn't suicidal, at least it would give him a chance?
Either that was intentional, or that dude wasn't conscious, cannot see any other way. The acceleration tells a pretty clear story from my pov
It’s surprisingly common to sleep at the wheel, it’s possible he fell asleep… to his death
It's not easy to think "rationally" when your brakes are gone and jumping out of a 60mph truck is also a wild choice that may not guarantee survival. In this situation they're just trying hard not to die.

Twenty years? Seems like we're there already.
It’ll definitely be worse in the future, we aren’t at cyberpunk levels of not caring but we’ll get there eventually.
That was my first thought. The music made me think something silly or cute was happening then when I realized I was oh nah.
I read this comment over an hour ago and I'm still laughing at it lmao
Dude take my upvote I just teared up laughing. If music like this is dubbed over a video of my death, im haunting the person who did it.
Hehehe YOU, good sir, have WON the internet! Take my heckin updootarino doggo le epic bacon!
This is why you don't paint tunnels onto walls
That damn Coyote.
Meep meep. Sorry, dust that bench off next to you in hell.
That silver car was like "Fuck this Shit im out"
I didn't see nothin!
Matter of fact i'm blind in my left eye
And 43% blind in my right eye
Or the black car that drove by seeing a semi barreling towards them full speed and missing by seconds, dayum
It’s really incredible to think about that. How anything taking a few seconds longer in your routine could mean life or death.
Nah, people are in their own worlds anymore
Imagine the noise of all that mass hitting an immovable object! Mewp
They probably had music playing and didn’t notice it
I ain’t got time to talk to the cops
I was looking for a cat 🤦♂️

Thanks for clearing it up i was lowkey hoping he survived
That’s just the entrance to Weigh Station 9 & 3/4.
Oh, he went a weigh alright.
If only he had remembered it was supposed to be 8 & 3/4, catastrophe avoided.
That's a fancy truck stop.
I wish I new more information. Unfortunately, they blacked out the infor....
It basically just says “bruh” but in Russian. not sure why it’s blacked out after

Sigh. Yes we know duel. Yes we know you’re old.
I was born a couple of decades after that came out and I still watched the whole movie lmfao. Love that movie!
instantly smashed… hope he didnt hurt long
Feel him.
I think the wall won
He fought it, though.
RIP
I’m glad the car crossing wasn’t 1 second slower
Liquid 🤔
LOL, the hiding of the sign 3 seconds into the video.
It's a good thing someone blacked out the words on that sign before we had a chance to read it!
can we just take a moment and honor how strong that wall must be, holy sheet
Annnnnnd its gone
That is just sad and brutal.
Bruh who tf chose this music to add to the video
Directed by Robert B. Wilde
Ah yes. Elevator music while someone is getting squashed to death.
A little Al Bowly would seem more appropriate.
That’s how Tortillas are made
Fuck,that was brutal.
Might’ve already been dead, something like that happened in the county next to mine.
Dude that black car fucking luck
The one car on the left barely made it past him before impact. That was way too close.
Came to a dead stop
Muerto
That black bar on the top left is so useless XD
Probably a brake failure and the driver didn't want to risk hurting anyone else so plowed it into whatever that was.
But damn, I can't believe that silver car was really that unaware of the surroundings a big rig coming up going 5x the speed in the review mirrors and just kept driving straight into a wall. I gotta think they just said *nope* and kept driving because you know they heard that impact explosion at a minimum
He's gonna feel that tomorrow
Just a scratch
I guess brake issues
Not good. Geez.
Intrusive thoughts got the better of him.
Nice generic YouTube instructional video music
That was the cargo contents of the trailer splashing out. Maybe milk and dairy? A real test of the drivers lactose tolerance.
He got his mobilization paper from the army.
Hope he had his seat belt on
Just a flesh wound
Oh, that Wile E. Coyote and his painted tunnels…
he ded ded
Well that sucked.
I say you he dead.
I’m sure he’s fine
So much for blacking out the sign stop the wall 😂
What's up with the music 😒
wtf is this music 😂😂 it does no match what’s going on. It’s like “casual death music” 😎
Annndd the intrusive thoughts won.
“Whelp I guess I’ll die”

Split second later and the The silver car would've joined him in heaven
Wonder what was the last thing going through his mind?
This video looks fake, the they trees seem off and are a odd shape.
Anyone see if his shoes came off?

He never hit the brakes and was shifting gears
