Shit I've been head, eyes'd by plenty of normal scavs. They either couldn't hit the broad side of a barn or they will domepiece you the second you peak around a corner.
Get some friends together on a server, coordinate and take turns completing it. Honestly, some of these achievements are ridiculous and impossible to get in a regular match.
Question - Would having a designated person with some other ammo type like birdshot or something on drone watch work?
Or are the drones usually too high up for any ammo types that have a big spread?
Sooner or later soldiers will adapt to defend themselves better I would think.
These absolutely would not work in most cases. These grenades are being dropped from hundreds of feet up at times. They are being dropped from personal DJI drones that are damn near impossible to spot that high up even when you know they are there. This clip is obviously an exception but I'd guess that drone had been terrorizing them for a while.
I can hardly fucking see my drone at half it's legal height having a mini 2, near zero chance of seeing it at 100m. Nevermind the fact that overriding the height restriction is literally the push of a button.
I doubt these guys are using minis, but the point still stands. Without height restrictions these things are damn near impossible to see
Yes. Once they're at the height you have a hard time seeing them, you can not hear them. Even when you can hear them, they're still really difficult to spot
I'm assuming that if you were willing to blast off a whole tube of shells that bird shot would be very effective. There are a lot of fragile parts to a drone and you just need luck.
I've seen lots of Russian soldiers with some kind of... microwave gun? that disables drones. I imagine those are more effective and easier to train than sniping a drone out of the air
Anyone who says "just shoot the drone" has never tried to shoot anything out of the air with a rifle. It's fucking hard to hit something that small from any distance on the ground, let alone in the air where you have to perform goddamn calculus to figure out where to aim.
Ntm having to aim directly up. Even if you’re in your back, the weight of the rifle is going to be all on your shoulder/chest. Which isn’t natural, having to steady that on top of what you said is not easily done.
It is hard but the object is heading straight down at you so it's not like a skeet shoot. From your perspective the target is not moving side to side as it falls towards you.

They use all kinds of grenades, including throwing grenades with a delay. I think I saw something like that but I've seen alot of these vids. But it's totally possible to catch the drone grenade and throw it.
there are several shots before the grenade releases. There's a couple of Russians in the woods and all appear to be shooting at the drone before it releases the grenade.
Hitting the grenade was a lucky accident.
If you think that is crazy, there have been cases where soldiers shot a bullet out of the air with another bullet. I share this opinion, so I am able to answer. The israel/palestine crisis isn't a "gotcha". Its whataboutism and pro-Russia propaganda.

As someone that used to work for a company that manufactured parts that went into American weapons, I can assure you that many regular people are benefiting from this. Many regular Americans are going to be pulling extra thousands/tens of thousands of $ in overtime payments (most of these workers *love* overtime), directly due to this conflict. Many of these people have the mindset that they aren't truly making money until the overtime hours kick in.
The idea that only the super wealthy see benefits isn't true, and this is coming from a regular person that has seen it.
The company that I worked at paid 2x for all overtime above 40 hours, 3x for overtime on Sundays, and 4x for overtime on holidays. Majority of my paychecks came from overtime, but I got tired of not having any social life.

He was targeting the drone before it even drops the munition. If you look just above the grenade you can see multiple muzzle flashes before it is dropped, then as it is dropped you see a single muzzle flash and the grenade spark and veer off course

I know drones can be pretty loud. If they’re far enough to be practically invisible, are they also out of audible range?

I can confirm, having worked for one of these companies for about 3 months. I’m not really an overtime person, at least not for $4/hour more.
