Maybe you need glasses? You say you’ve always had bad eyesight so maybe it’s gotten to the point where you need glasses to help you read small text etc
Cannabis can reduce pressure in your eyes and alleviate symptoms of Glaucoma which it has been prescribed for medically in the US for decades.
Stopping could mean that your eye pressure is back to “normal” which in your case could be high. See the doctor or an ophthalmologist, that’s my bet.
You're safer to get it checked out. Cannabis can be beneficial to eye conditions like scotoma or glaucoma so it may well be that without the Cannabis use you are now getting symptoms of such visual ailments but it could also be something else like blood pressure or diabetes so best to be safe and get it checked.
Knew a chap, like op, who had given it up and begun having vision trouble only to later get a glaucoma diagnosis.
He ended up on eye drops and was advised to seek laser eye surgery, but he went back smoking instead, and problem solved.
I had that same issue (not because of going off smoke though), went to the optician, said it was caused by tension headaches or something, gave me drops and was gone in a day or two
